"What are these you’re handing out?" Li Yang exhaled, curiously picking up one of the photos from the table. The moment he saw it, he froze.

"You still haven’t caught them yet?"

The people in the photo were none other than Wu Juan and her crew.

"Not yet!" Shen Xu said, sounding frustrated. "These guys are good at hiding, but Qin Gang is pushing for results, so we’re down here distributing photos to see if anyone knows where they are."

"All right, I’ll let you get back to it. We’re heading out," Li Yang said with a shake of his head, pulling Aunt Rong away.

Once they were outside, Li Yang asked Aunt Rong, "So? Feel better now?"

Aunt Rong’s face blossomed into a smile. "You did all that just to stand up for me?"

"You bet I did!" Li Yang nodded. "Those guys are completely lawless. How dare they treat you like that? I wouldn’t have been able to rest until I taught them a lesson."

"Mm, you almost seem like a hero of justice... if you weren’t constantly making such vulgar comments," Aunt Rong said with a straight face.

"Aunt Rong, don’t you like it?" Li Yang looked exasperated. "From what I can tell, every time I say it, you might be blushing on the outside, but you’re getting all excited on the inside."

"You little scoundrel!" Aunt Rong cried out in mock anger, smacking him on the back again. "That’s for talking nonsense."

Li Yang let out a mischievous laugh.

Back at Aunt Rong’s house, Su Yunmeng was apparently still at the office. The moment he was inside, Li Yang gave her a sly, shifty look and asked, "Aunt Rong, how about you make good on that promise of yours?"

Zhang Rong scoffed at him. "Stop your nonsense. Is that seriously all you think about day in and day out?"

"It’s mainly because you’re so beautiful, Aunt Rong. I can’t help but think about it whenever I see you," Li Yang said with a cheeky grin.

Zhang Rong got goosebumps all over. She looked at him helplessly and said, "What am I supposed to do with you..."

’He was actually getting turned on.’

Aunt Rong was stunning, whether she was angry or smiling.

It was an elegant beauty, the kind possessed by a woman of grace and refinement.

"Aunt Rong, you can’t pick on a poor kid like me!" Li Yang said with a wronged expression. "We agreed on this ages ago. It was a promise! You can’t just make a promise and then act like it never happened. You have to set a good example for your juniors!"

Aunt Rong was so exasperated she nearly coughed up blood. Pointing at him, she retorted, "You have the gall to say that? If you know you’re my junior, then why are you saying all this filth to me?"

"Aunt Rong, it was your promise!" Li Yang’s expression immediately turned serious again.

"Fine! Fine!" Zhang Rong was fuming. She planted her hands on her hips. "All right, then. Bring it on."

The moment he heard that, Li Yang pounced, pinning her against the edge of the kitchen counter.

"Hey, you...!" Zhang Rong jumped in alarm. ’I was just calling his bluff! He’s actually going for it?’

But as she was enveloped by Li Yang’s strong, masculine scent, her mind went blank. She found herself, against all reason, eagerly anticipating his next move.

A thrill coursed through Li Yang’s entire body.

Aunt Rong was already gorgeous, but the thought of her finally fulfilling her promise sent a wave of excitement through him.

The faint, sweet scent coming from her body spurred him on even more.

As for Aunt Rong, her entire body had gone pliant.

Li Yang had already slipped his hand inside her pants and was about to begin his exploration when he heard the front door open.

The sound instantly snapped them both back to their senses.

Aunt Rong slapped his hand away, hurriedly fixed her clothes, and shot him an indignant glare.

"Auntie, is Li Yang here yet?" The CLICK-CLACK of high heels echoed from outside the kitchen.

It was Su Yunmeng!

Li Yang grimaced. ’Sister Su,’ he thought, ’why do you always show up at the worst possible moment and ruin things between me and your aunt?’

Seeing his look of pure agony, Aunt Rong suddenly burst out laughing. "He’s here! In the kitchen, washing vegetables for me."

"Oh, really?" Su Yunmeng sounded a little surprised. She put her things down and came over.

"You haven’t even touched these vegetables... All right, you go sit on the sofa. What do you know about washing vegetables, anyway?" Su Yunmeng said with a small smile, pulling Li Yang out of the kitchen.

An alluring fragrance filled his nostrils, and Li Yang felt himself starting to get restless again.

"By the way, my aunt told me you were treating a child for a bite. How is it? Is the kid better now?" Su Yunmeng asked, sitting down on a small stool and revealing a pair of slender legs.

Li Yang simply remained standing, looking down at Su Yunmeng.

From his vantage point, he had a perfect view of the magnificent swell of her chest.

Li Yang’s eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"It’s no problem at all!" Li Yang said with a dry laugh. "The medicine is highly effective. Another two applications and there won’t be any issues whatsoever, you can rest assured."

"That’s a relief!" Su Yunmeng nodded. "Our researchers were saying that stuff is incredible. It’s potent enough to be a real medicine."

Zhang Rong came out of the kitchen and bumped Li Yang. "Come on, grab this for me."

Li Yang quickly followed.

Once they were off to the side, Aunt Rong said irritably, "You’re something else. Still not satisfied with what’s in your bowl, so now you’re eyeing what’s in the pot?"

Li Yang looked a little embarrassed, but replied helplessly, "Aunt Rong, don’t be ridiculous. I haven’t even had a single bite."

Aunt Rong burst out laughing. "Just keep your eyes to yourself," she said, "or I’ll gouge them out for you."
