THE SUPREME NECROMANCER: SYSTEM FORCED DUAL CULTIVATION TO LEVEL UP
Chapter 72 SIX PILLS
Chapter 72: 72 SIX PILLS
72SIX PILLS
Zhao Ming had also completely lost his carefree expression.
Chen Ruyue was practically motionless. Su Meilin followed every change.
Lian Yue watched Yun Che.
That man had remained silent throughout all the meetings. He had never explained where his knowledge came from.
He had never fully explained what he had found in the mausoleum, nor had he ever revealed his true abilities.
And now, he stood before all of them, controlling an alchemical process that none of them could completely understand.
Then a new message appeared before Yun Che’s eyes.
[Material integration initiated.]
He breathed slowly.
Just one more stage. One more chance. One more risk.
The flame began to fluctuate.
[Essence control required.]
Yun Che immediately raised his hand, and the entire formation changed.
"Now!"
Ariselle released more energy. The entire hall trembled, and the spiritual crystals began going out one after another.
The flame grew and then diminished.
For a moment, it seemed as though everything was about to fail.
Chen Ruyue took a step forward.
"Is it going to explode?"
Guo Han grabbed her arm.
"No."
"How do you know?"
"Look at him."
Chen Ruyue looked.
Yun Che remained motionless, his eyes fixed on the furnace. Even with his body trembling, even with his core on the verge of collapse.
He did not retreat.
"He’s still in control."
Inside the furnace, the essence began to stabilize. The flame stopped fluctuating.
The glow of the formation became uniform, and the remaining crystals stopped trembling.
Ariselle was breathing heavily.
"Necromancer..."
He did not answer. He simply continued watching.
Then the final fluctuation disappeared.
The furnace finally stabilized, and the entire hall fell silent.
Yun Che remained motionless for several seconds.
Then he slowly opened his eyes.
The furnace remained completely still.
After so many tense minutes, the silence that had filled the hall seemed even heavier.
No one dared to speak. Everyone watched the masked man standing before the furnace.
Yun Che remained with one hand extended over the formation. The white mask concealed his face, but it could not completely hide the exhaustion caused by the refinement.
His breathing was heavier than before, and each breath required greater effort.
Inside the furnace, the final spiritual essences were slowly being integrated.
The flame no longer fluctuated, but Yun Che knew that this did not mean the process was over.
The final stage was precisely the most dangerous. A small mistake at this moment could destroy all the work completed so far.
He carefully controlled the spiritual flow. A small amount of energy entered the furnace.
The essence shifted, and Yun Che immediately corrected its direction.
A sharp pain shot through his core.
He gritted his teeth.
His body was reaching its limit, but he could not stop.
Not now.
[Essence control required.]
Yun Che slightly closed his eyes.
"I know."
The response came out softly.
Lian Yue, who was nearby, heard him. She slightly frowned and glanced at the masked man.
"Who is he talking to?"
Guo Han did not take his eyes off the furnace.
"Probably himself."
Su Meilin remained silent for several seconds, her gaze focused on Yun Che’s movements.
"Perhaps."
Lian Yue returned her attention to the furnace.
There was something strange about this man.
Or was it simply his alchemical ability?
The way he reacted.
He seemed to notice changes before the others could even identify the problem.
And that made it impossible to determine exactly how much of this refinement came from knowledge and how much came from something he was still hiding.
On the other side of the formation, Ariselle was also beginning to show signs of exhaustion.
Her breathing was heavier, and the spiritual energy feeding the formation was gradually decreasing.
"Necromancer."
He did not answer.
"My energy is decreasing."
"Hold on a little longer."
Ariselle narrowed her eyes.
"How much longer?"
"Until I tell you to stop."
For several seconds, the queen simply stared at him. Even exhausted, there was still authority in her gaze.
"You really know how to ask for help."
Yun Che remained focused.
"If you can’t continue, stop."
Ariselle looked at the formation and then at the three wounded warriors waiting on the other side of the hall.
Finally, she released more energy again.
"I can still continue."
The formations began to glow once more.
The spiritual crystals scattered across the ground lost even more of their luminosity.
Nysara watched the process with an increasingly worried expression.
"He’s already consumed an absurd amount of crystals."
Mirevra observed the nearly depleted crystals.
"And he’s still not finished."
Nysara slowly nodded.
"If this continues, a significant portion of our reserves will be consumed."
Vaelra looked at Yun Che.
"Is it worth it?"
Nysara remained silent for several seconds.
The numbers remained the same.
Seven thousand combatants.
More than thirty thousand enemies.
Numerous beasts accompanying the enemy forces.
And approximately fifteen cultivators at the tenth stage of Profound Nascent on the other side.
Before this moment, the Medusas had only six cultivators at the same stage, counting Ariselle, the four elders, and Lian Yue.
Even if those pills were successfully completed, no one could guarantee that they would be enough to change the outcome of a war on such a scale.
"I don’t know."
Nysara looked back at Yun Che.
"But we’ve already come too far to stop now."
Vaelra did not answer.
The response did not satisfy her, but at that moment, she could not find a better argument either.
Inside the furnace, the essence began to condense.
Yun Che noticed immediately.
The final stage.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment. All his attention focused on the spiritual flow.
The energy traveled through the formation, passed through the crystals, and entered the furnace, causing the essences to begin separating.
One part took on a different hue.
Then another.
Then a third.
Yun Che opened his eyes.
"Now."
Ariselle released all the energy she could still control, and the formation shone intensely.
The ground trembled.
Several nearby warriors took a step back as the furnace began to vibrate.
Chen Ruyue held her breath.
"It’s condensing."
Guo Han nodded.
"Yes."
Chen Ruyue carefully observed the inside of the furnace.
"But we still can’t determine how many cores will be formed."
"Six main ingredients?" Su Meilin asked.
Chen Ruyue slowly shook her head.
"Not necessarily."
She narrowed her eyes.
"The structure is splitting before the final condensation."
Yun Che raised his hand.
The vibration intensified.
A drop of sweat ran down the side of his face, disappearing beneath the mask.
His core hurt more and more, and his vision began to blur slightly.
He took a deep breath.
Then he felt the spiritual energy settle.
The furnace finally stopped.
The formation lost its intensity.
The remaining crystals stayed scattered across the ground, and for several seconds, nothing was heard inside the hall.
A message appeared before Yun Che’s eyes.
[Refinement completed.]
Yun Che remained motionless.
Then another message appeared.
[Six pills have been produced.]
He slowly exhaled.
"It’s finished."
Ariselle removed her hand from the formation at the same instant. Her body lost some of its firmness.
Lian Yue noticed and caught her arm.
"Queen."
Ariselle regained her balance.
