The Scowling Sidekick: A My Hero Academia Fanfiction
Mission Prep and Family Time
After the three days had passed, we went to go see Miss Bulma with one of Hatsume’s babies in tow. Just like last time, we teleported right outside of her lab and knocked on the door. Miss Bulma says loudly, “Come on in, kids!” We do, and we drop off Hatsume’s baby and trade it for a round radar that is green with grids on it that pulse outward. Bulma says, “If there are any dragon balls on a planet, you will see it on that radar. Since they often spawn in the ocean, it is also waterproof and can handle the extreme pressure of the sea. Actually, it can handle a few times more than the pressure of the sea.” Ayaka says while holding the radar and looking at it, “Cool. Question, Miss Bulma?” She raises her eyebrow, and Ayaka continues, “Could you make a similar device for both of us that tracks our locations? Sekai was recently kidnapped, and I was distraught, not knowing her location.”
Miss Bulma perks up, “That should be simple enough. I will need some blood from both of you to do this.” She grabs a couple of needles from a supply cabinet, and I start sweating and shaking my head. Ayaka is also sweating, but she says while squeezing my hand, “It will be ok, Sekai. I will be right here.” I try to take deep breaths to calm down. Miss Bulma says, “I have localized anesthetic here, so you kids won’t feel a thing.” I sigh in relief as the tension building up in my body vanishes. I sit down, and Miss Bulma wipes down the crease of my elbow with an alcohol wipe, then she applies the anesthetic and flicks me a few times and judges my reaction. She then grabs the needle, and I look away and hold Ayaka’s hand tight as she draws my blood.
Bulma says seriously as she draws my blood, “So, Sekai, I was thinking about your power, and I have been meaning to ask you. When you teleport to somewhere new, do you know if the atmosphere will be suitable for humans? I have always worried that you might teleport to some place where you might instantly suffocate, or get crushed by too much gravity.” I get pale in the face and say, “I have never thought of that. I guess we have been lucky, or maybe it was on a subconscious level.” Bulma asks, “So, what do you think about when you teleport to somewhere new?” I sigh and say, “Hmm. Well, it is hard to describe. When we were lost, my thoughts were more… what’s the word?... abstract. Like I thought of a word or phrase, and we were sent to worlds that met that abstract thought.” She finishes drawing my blood and removes the needle, and places a piece of gauze there and medical tape.
Bulma asks while Ayaka replaces me in the chair, “Can you give me an example?” I responded while looking away, while standing by Ayaka, holding her hand, blushing furiously, trying to keep my cool while looking away, “W-w-well, when we left here, I thought Ayaka’s touch was like a ninja and we were sent into a ninja world. The next time, I found myself thinking about enjoying our adventure, and we were sent to a world where we quickly found a group of very free spirits on an adventure-packed journey. After that, I thought of enjoying Ayaka’s tentacles, and we teleported into an ocean in the grasp of a large blue squid-like creature’s tentacles.” Bulma says while prepping Ayaka’s arm, “That is abstract indeed. With an ability like that, the possibilities of where you might end up are endless. Though, do be careful not to teleport into a place with hazardous conditions.” We nod, and Ayaka joins in, “I very much like living, so I second that.” Miss Bulma then draws her blood, and I continue to hold her hand in support.
After she has what she needs to make the trackers, she told us that she would be done in about 5-7 days. She said it was a little longer because she had to figure out the differences in the algorithm from the dragon radar. We borrow her guest room to do our ritual back to Japan with our radar in tow, and after arriving back inside UA, we look at the radar as I catch my breath from my orgasm. It is showing 7 orange dots on the screen. Ayaka follows my gaze and chuckles, “Who would have thought that we would have these magic dragon balls like this just chilling in our world, and nobody knew? I thought we were going to have to world-hop to find another planet with them.” I sigh, “Yeah, me too.” Ayaka asks as she drags her finger across my scarred arm, “You ready to talk to the Principal? He will be able to help us get these. I am pretty sure that we will have trouble getting the ones in the ocean, and I don’t want to be eaten by anything large. I would very much not like to become takoyaki.”
I feel a push to be naughty, and I respond with a smirk, “I am the only one allowed to eat you.” I push her down on the bed, and she also smirks and purrs in approval as I straddle her and kiss her. She moans in my mouth as our tongues dance. She reaches down and pulls her shirt up and off, and we pause our kiss as her shirt passes her face, only to begin kissing again once it passes her head. We fling her shirt aside, and I reach behind her to unclasp her bra, then slide my hand under her loose cup and grab her breast. She unbuttons her jeans and uses her tentacles to pull them off while I stay straddling her. She removes her underwear in the same manner. I leave her lips and I kiss her down her body, working my way to between her legs.
I licked her ravenously, having really missed her taste since we hadn’t had sex like this in a while because of recent events and having to recover from my self-inflicted injuries. The cut on my lip is healing nicely on its own. I use my fingers on my left hand to wrap around her one at a time, and I squeeze her breasts, torso, and inner thighs. When she gets nice and wet, I stretch the skin on my index and middle finger from my right hand like I would for a fake penis, and the same girth and width, too, so it isn't too much for her. Then I use Armament Haki and insert it inside of her. She gasps in mild surprise as I enter and then moans in pleasure. Her moans are music to my ears as I continue to lick the hood of her clitoris while pumping my penis sized fingers in and out. Ayaka moans, “Harder, Sekai!” As I pump harder, her moans get louder and more intoxicating to hear. As if they are a drug for me. She comes in waves, arching her back in pleasure as she grips her own breasts, screaming in pleasure as I continue to pump my fingers and lick ravenously.
As she recovered, I went to put my fingers in my mouth, and she paws at me and says, “Give me one.” I stretch my middle finger, and she starts sucking her fluids off of my finger while I suck on my index finger. She moans as she licks as she is still feeling pleasure from the orgasm she just had. She looks so hot. I mean, she always looks hot, but she especially looks hot at this moment. She giggles, looking at me, and she says, “I love it when you look at me like that.” I blush furiously at her words, and while my finger is in my mouth, I try to roll away to hide my face, and Ayaka prevents me from doing so and says, “Nope. I want to keep seeing that adorable face of yours.” I sigh as I accept my fate, as my face continues to blush furiously, and she giggles and drops my finger from her mouth and kisses me.
After our kiss, she says, “As much as I would love to stay in bed with you, we probably should go see the principal.” I sigh as does Ayaka, and we get out of bed and make ourselves presentable, and go see Principal Nezu. We knock and we hear his elegantly gentle voice, “You may enter.” We open the door and he asks, “What brings you to my office, dear students?” Ayaka pulls out the dragon radar and says, “I am not sure if All Might told you, but we have a way to completely heal him.” Principal Nezu asks, “Can you illuminate upon how you will manage that?” Ayaka then explains the dragon balls and how they work, and how they are scattered around the world, and how there will be several in the ocean.
Principal Nezu says, “Hmmm. I see. Do you mind if we bring another hero into the fold? Gang Orca would be the perfect team-up for you, and he has access to many marine vessels that would prove useful during your search.” Ayaka asks, “That should be alright, but can you make sure that this stays top secret besides him? If villains learned of these, chaos would consume our world.” Principal Nezu pours himself a freshly brewed cup of tea and responds, “Well, that is a given due to the nature of these artifacts. I will arrange for a team-up with Gang Orca. How soon will you be ready to set out?” Ayaka says, “We can be ready whenever. We just need to pack our swimsuits, her life jacket, and some spare clothes, which we can have in minutes with Sekai’s quirk.” Principal Nezu shakes his head, “I don’t think I can arrange everything that quickly. You two rest for the rest of today, and I will have a private talk with Gang Orca. We may need to postpone when you set out, depending on particulars, so be sure to keep your phone on, Miss Kubo.” We get up to go, and he says, “One last thing, don’t go get the other dragon balls not in the sea just yet. I would like for you both to have a pro hero escort due to All for One’s interest in Sekai’s quirk. We don’t know how far his influence reaches, and we can’t risk losing you.” Ayaka and I both nod, understanding, and we go home.
We get home, and we tell Mom and Dad about how we should be able to heal All Might if we can collect these dragon balls, and they sigh in relief with watery eyes. Dad says, “That is such a relief to hear.” Ayaka goes on to update them on the rest and about Gang Orca’s team up with us, and they hug us. Mom says, “Listen to your Principal, and don’t go out without a pro hero, ok? You both are too precious to me, and I don’t know if I can handle another incident.” I squeeze her tightly and say with a breaking voice, “Don’t worry, I don’t want to be kidnapped again.” I hear Mom, Dad, and Ayaka all sniffling from crying as we continue to hug and have a family moment, and Garlic and Sir Floof join, too.
After our hug, I ask them, “If it is alright with you, could Ayaka and I go practice quirk walking on water while we wait? I am still quite scared of water with my weakness, and I would like to be as prepared as I can be before we set off.” Dad says, “That sounds good with me, though you are only allowed to use the UA pool.” Mom nods in agreement, and I say, “Yes, Dad.” He kisses us both on the forehead and asks, “Can I be greedy and ask for you two to start that tomorrow? I would like to take advantage of my Saturday and treasure my baby girls. Do you guys want to watch a movie, go out, or something?” I look over to Ayaka and say, “I am fine with anything Ayaka wants.” Ayaka says while placing her hands on her hips and making a displeased face, “No, you choose. I was quite upset when All for One called you our pet dog. You are my everything, Sekai.”
I sigh and pout a little on my scowling face, “B-b-but, I like everything we do together. Is something wrong with that?” Mom squeals and hugs me, “Sekai, you are so cute. Alright, it is settled. We are going to have a Kubo family date. Since you don’t know what to do, we can just jam a few different activities today.” She lets go of our hug and thinks, “Hmmmmm, we can go to the aquarium, movies, go out to eat, and if we have time, maybe hit an arcade like you kids like, so you kids can beat your parents at some games.” That sounds perfect, and I think I made a face I didn’t realize because Ayaka squeals, hugs, and kisses me, “Sekai, how can you be so cute?” Dad says while getting the keys in a playful way, “Waiting on you, slow pokes.”
We get to the aquarium, and I notice that the police escort is still following us. I almost forgot they were there to be honest, since they usually just stay in their cars watching from outside. Crap. We probably inconvenienced the hell out of them when we used my quirk to go to and from UA. Ayaka follows my gaze and has the same realization and says, “Shit, I forgot the police were still watching us. Whoops.” They see us looking and wave discreetly while keeping a distance, and look relieved that we noticed them. I get a little embarrassed and pull the hoodie more forward over the hat I am currently wearing, and look away. Ayaka holds my hand, and Mom and Dad follow us through the aquarium as we look at the different animals in their tanks.
We get to the bigger animals and see a shark in a tank. I find myself sighing, and Ayaka asks, “What’s wrong?” I say, “I just feel bad for the bigger animals like that shark. From what I read, they swim a very long distance every day, but they can’t swim like that while in captivity like this.” Ayaka sighs as well and places the hand I am not holding on the glass of the shark’s tank, “I never thought about it that much, and that is a very sad thought.” Mom says while also placing her hand on the tank next to us, “Humanity can perform reprehensible acts in the spirit of appreciating art in life. We think these animals are pretty and want to admire them, but it comes at a cost. Sometimes art can be morally grey.” While we were here, Ayaka bought me a charm for my backpack zipper that was a cute, almost glistening dolphin that shone a bright blue in the light from the plastic material it was made from. I will treasure this charm forever.
After our trip to the aquarium, we went straight to the movie theatre where Ayaka and I shared a popcorn and a large soda, and Mom and Dad did the same. As we walk into the movie theatre, Dad grumbles, “Would it kill you kids to pick a hero movie once in a while?” Mom says in a stern tone, as if she has told him before, “Hanzo, Sekai doesn’t like hero movies, so we are going to watch something that all of us can enjoy.” Ayaka chimes in, “Yeah, Dad, I thought we told you?” Dad says, “Shit, I forgot. I’m sorry, honey. I like mystery movies, too.” During the previews, a fantasy isekai movie comes on that I really want to see. Ayaka looks at me and asks in a whisper, “Do you want to see it? I wasn’t sure if you would like isekais.” I say while still looking at the screen, also in a whisper, “I think I would like the movie since I am a fan of the genre. I often thought about reincarnation and stuff back in the past. The idea of a better life made me resentful, yet hopeful, and kept me from losing my sanity. Though near the end, right before I met you, I was just wanting to die, not really even thinking of reincarnation.”
She grabbed my hand, which made me look at her, and her eyes were watering, and a stray tear left her eye. I apologize, feeling bad that I made her beautiful face shed tears when we were supposed to be having fun, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you cry or anything.” She shook her head and said, “Shhhh. Don’t apologize. Do you want to see it when it comes out, or do you want to buy it and watch it at home?” Right before I answer, the movie starts, and she pulls out her phone, and I type on her phone’s notepad, “I like the idea of being able to watch it at home with you alone.” Ayaka responds on the same notepad file, “When you say it like that, I never want to come to the movie theatre again.” Mom leans over and whispers, “Movies are better when you watch them.” Thanks, Captain Obvious.
When the credits rolled, I groaned, “Really? Why would they call this movie a mystery when it was obvious at the beginning that the husband killed his wife?” Mom says, “I agree with you, that was a little disappointing. Maybe we should have looked up the reviews before picking a movie.” Dad says, “I don’t know about you guys, but that popcorn is long gone, and I am hungry.” My stomach growls as if on cue, and Mom says, “What do you want to eat?” I responded with no hesitation, “Food.” Ayaka sighed, “You know that isn’t what she meant, right?” I shrug, “You do know that I am basically a diet Luffy, right?” Ayaka laughs, “I guess you are right about that.” Mom asks, “Isn’t that the pirate hero you told us about?” We nod. Dad asks, “So how exactly is that Luffy with food?” Ayaka says, “Well, his body can stretch and he can eat so much that he can turn into a large balloon as if he were a cartoon.” She uses her tentacles to show how wide Luffy can get and also tells them about his quick ‘digestion’. Dad chuckles and says, “He sounds like a bottomless pit. I'm glad you have a more realistic stomach; otherwise, you might have eaten us out of our home.”
After we ate, Mom and Dad took us to the arcade, where we played games. Ayaka, being Ayaka, beat all of us. Though in a shooting game, I was able to beat Ayaka. Mainly because it was more about reflexes and accuracy than combos or experience. We spent the longest time playing Galaxy, a game where we played as ships that could move on a horizontal axis, and we had to avoid asteroids and other ships firing shots at us, and had to shoot those ships for points. Ayaka spanked our asses at this game.
We stayed in the arcade for hours, though, since we were having fun, they flew by. Dad finally begged for mercy, and we changed games, and we ended up playing air hockey. After a few games of Ayaka beating us, my stomach growled loudly, and they all giggled. Dad said while reaching into his pockets to find the car keys, “That is our cue. Home?” He asks as he looks at Mom, who nods and says while glancing at her phone, “I didn't realize we stayed here for so long. It is dark outside now.”
As we drove home, I said to them while feeling a little flustered and looking out the car window while holding Ayaka’s hand (like we usually do), “T-thank you for today, Mom and Dad. I had fun.” Ayaka squeezed my hand gently after I said that, and I looked over and saw her smiling face as well as Mom’s smiling face while looking at me, making me more flustered. I hear both Mom and Ayaka giggling, and Mom says, “Well, we had fun, too. If you ever want to go out with us again, you need only ask us. We love spending time with you kids.” Dad chimes in, “We would even close the gallery and play hooky, if you asked us to.” Ayaka asks, “If you close the gallery too much, isn’t it bad for business?” Dad shakes his head and says, “Most of our repeat customers, like Best Jeanist and the Yaoyorozus, follow our website, and when we close, they are in the loop. The only customers we would lose would be prospective customers who haven’t been to the store before or don’t follow our website.”
I am a little shocked to hear that, “I didn’t know that Best Jeanist liked art like that.” Mom says, “He likes to rotate out the art in his agency and is always interested in new pieces. Actually, both he and the Yaoyorozus have placed a bid on the mist painting you helped me with. If it is alright with Sir Floof, I would like to borrow him again so we can make a similar one so both of them can have one.” Sir Floof comes out of his Pokéball on top of my lap, shocking me, and his paws are digging into my lap with every ounce of his body weight, and I let out an “Oof.” I use armament to harden the skin he is standing on to relieve some of the pressure while he chirps and nods adorably to Mom, and she reaches back to pet him a few times and says, “Thanks, Sir Floof. You will be making us a lot of money.” She says with a bright smile. I pet him while he is in my lap, and he starts to adorably purr.
We get home and retreat to our room and plop onto the bed. As we lie in bed, cuddling with Sir Floof and Garlic in a cramped manner since Garlic takes up a bit of space, I sigh in contentment and say, “I love you so much, Ayaka.” She smiles warmly while looking at me as her head rests on her pillow, and she says, “I love you so much, Sekai.” I start to feel emotional staring at her, and I say as water fills my right eye, “Thank you for distracting me since I returned home. It feels like if I stay still long enough, I start to think about that terrible experience.” Ayaka’s eyes start to water, and she holds my hand and says, “I will keep distracting you for as long as you need me to. I wish there was more that I could do.” I tell her as a tear falls from my eye, “You already do more than enough for me. Sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve to have someone like you.”
Ayaka leans forward and kisses me, then says, “You deserve so much, Sekai. You need to stop thinking like you are worthless garbage and listen to me when I say you are my everything.” I choke up and my voice breaks, “It is so hard. I have heard those words and felt that way about myself for so long that it is hard to just recalibrate myself.” Ayaka says, also in a breaking voice, looking at me with such care, “Then I will keep telling you how much you mean to me until you are recalibrated.” Sir Floof puts a ribbon on me and a ribbon on Ayaka as we lie here in bed crying.
I tell her while gazing in her beautiful, tearful, purple eyes, “I feel so lucky to have met you, Ayaka. I hated being separated from you when I was kidnapped, and that despair felt like how I think I would have felt in the stories of our world from the terrifying Japan and how we aren’t in it. The more I think back on that time, the more I think that I killed myself in that universe and never got the chance to meet you. Just thinking of a world where I don’t have you makes me want to kill myself.” Ayaka says with her voice still breaking, “I hereby forbid you from ever trying to take your own life, Sekai.” I nod, not wanting to ever hurt Ayaka. We stayed like this, holding hands and crying until we both fell asleep.
