The Rule-Breaker of the Doomsday Game

Chapter 431: The Blood Bath Queen Dies From Misjudging Someone's Species...

  • Next Chapter

By the thirty-fifth second, Qi Suian had stuffed all the Blood Race members of the Death Clan into the Melting Furnace.

The Blood Bath Queen had tried to stop him, but the Daywalker was ruthless, blocking her as if his life meant nothing.

He was torn into dozens of pieces, yet he stubbornly crawled back up and continued to block her.

"You really give it your all, don't you?" Qi Suian said after finishing off the Death Clan and helping block an attack, looking at the recovering Daywalker.

The Daywalker's body contorted, reforming into a grotesque human shape.

He had clearly been shattered quite badly; even if he wanted to, restoring his form would take some time.

"Thankfully, the immortality granted by my Blood Race lineage is indeed powerful enough." This was the first time the Daywalker had ever pushed his immortality to such an extent.

Seeing Qi Suian's intervention, the Blood Bath Queen immediately turned to leave.

Things had come to this; there was no point in staying.

As for making threats? At her level, there was no need for such things after a loss.

It wasn't that she couldn't afford to lose; she just didn't need to fight for the last word.

However, whether she could leave was no longer up to her.

She transformed into mist, trying to fly away, but was restrained and blocked by the Daywalker using the same dark power, forcing her back into her human form.

Qi Suian seized the opportunity to launch a sneak attack. His attacks were simple and unadorned—just punches, either smashing or hammering, relying purely on brute force and his passives.

The Blood Bath Queen was instantly hammered into a meat paste by Qi Suian, a testament to how potent his strength and passives were.

'What skills? What special effects?' In Qi Suian's eyes, they were all useless. Overwhelming all techniques with pure stats—that was the path for him.

At this point, the Blood Bath Queen understood she wouldn't be able to escape. She immediately transformed into a massive Blood Dragon, unleashing a barrage of attacks: sweeping claws, gushing breath, and a lashing tail.

With his powerful physique and Spirit, Qi Suian could withstand it. He dared to go head-to-head with the Blood Dragon. Even if he was turned into meat paste by a tail whip or flattened into a pancake, he could instantly recover and land a blow on the Blood Bath Queen.

The Daywalker, on the other hand, didn't dare to take the hits head-on and had to rely on his own methods to evade.

BANG!

The Blood Bath Queen's draconic head was once again smashed to bits by Qi Suian. After effortlessly blocking a claw swipe, Qi Suian finally spoke. "This can't go on."

"We're all immortal with high regeneration. If we keep fighting like this, when will it ever end?"

The Daywalker used the Slaughter Knife and Execution Axe to slice the Blood Bath Queen's massive dragon body in two. With quick reflexes, Qi Suian grabbed a large chunk and stuffed it into the Melting Furnace.

But it was useless. The Blood Bath Queen recovered in an instant, like a perpetual motion machine. Qi Suian had already farmed a considerable amount of fuel from her.

The Blood Race Sacred Artifacts were infallibly effective against third-generation and lower Blood Race members, but not against the Blood Bath Queen, a second-generation member. She ignored many of their rule-bending effects.

Apparently, her special status granted her a corresponding resistance, and a very high one at that.

"She has none of the Blood Race's weaknesses and ignores the power of the Sacred Artifacts. I don't know how to kill her either," the Daywalker said helplessly.

The Son of the Dragon at least had a weakness; this Blood Bath Queen truly had none.

That Piercing Demon was probably the same. It was to be expected from the children of the Ancestor who had enabled the Blood Race to rule over humanity.

"Why don't you try stuffing her entirely into that special space of yours?" the Daywalker suggested, meaning for Qi Suian to put all of her into the Melting Furnace.

A great idea, but Qi Suian didn't dare.

He was afraid the Blood Bath Queen would break the Melting Furnace.

It was obvious he only dared to stuff in unconscious bits of flesh.

'Even I, the main body, can't take her full force, so what makes you think the Melting Furnace can? The Furnace isn't as strong as me.'

"Can't be done. Even I'm not her match, let alone my special space," Qi Suian said bluntly.

In the middle of their exchange, they both noticed a sudden change in the Blood Bath Queen.

The space around the Blood Dragon was being stained by a layer of blood-red ripples, looking just like the surface of water after a stone is thrown in.

"She's connected to some kind of special space," Qi Suian saw it at a glance.

"The boudoir of the Red Sea Witch Lilith? Impossible. Without the Evil Key, a Blood Race Sacred Artifact, she can't open it." The Daywalker's expression turned grave.

However, the Blood Bath Queen had no intention of answering their questions. The blood-red ripples expanded in an instant.

"Die together, human, and you, you mongrel!" the Blood Bath Queen's chilling voice emerged. "Sink together into the power of my mother."

In an instant, Qi Suian and the Daywalker found themselves plunged into a boundless, blood-red ocean.

An irresistible pulling force dragged them relentlessly downward.

"This is an illusion, right?" Qi Suian asked uncertainly while taking a deep breath. He didn't feel like he was drowning.

On the other side, the Daywalker had already fallen into a deep slumber, sleeping like a baby.

Qi Suian thrashed over to him and gave him two hard slaps across the face, but there was no sign of him waking up.

Meanwhile, the Blood Bath Queen stared at Qi Suian with wide eyes.

"Maybe... it's because I'm not of the Blood Race." Qi Suian thrashed over again and gave the Blood Bath Queen two slaps on the spot.

"No, that's absolutely impossible! What in the world are you?!" The Blood Bath Queen was truly breaking down this time. "My mother is one of the ancestors of humanity."

"Whether you're Blood Race or human, it's impossible..."

Hearing this, Qi Suian felt a bit awkward.

So, to alleviate the awkwardness, he gave her two more slaps.

Then he went back, grabbed the Daywalker's Slaughter Knife and Execution Axe, and returned to dismember the Blood Bath Queen.

It could only be said that the Blood Bath Queen was truly unlucky. She'd used a mutual-destruction technique, and a limited-edition one at that.

Unfortunately for her, Qi Suian was directly immune to her technique because he wasn't a life form from the Blood Race World.

If she had used any other move, Qi Suian would have been done for.

To this, Qi Suian could only say: 'Thank you, protagonist aura, for saving my sorry ass!'

He hacked off the Blood Bath Queen's dragon claws, tail, and other limbs, but they didn't regenerate.

Clearly, this Red Sea greatly suppressed her immortality.

"The Red Sea... is the birthplace of all that is Extraordinary, and at the same time, it suppresses all Extraordinary power."

"It's a pity I don't have the Evil Key. Otherwise, the one dying today would surely be you!" The Blood Bath Queen's eyes were filled with unwillingness to accept her fate.

Qi Suian, however, ignored her and lopped off her head with a single swing.

The Blood Bath Queen died on the spot. Qi Suian preserved the head and stuffed it into his Subspace Pocket.

The bad news was that he didn't get the protagonist aura. The good news was also that he didn't get the protagonist aura.

This meant the protagonist was likely the Daywalker by his side. The help of two protagonist auras, plus one of them having a home-field advantage, was what laid the foundation for victory.

Qi Suian was afraid that if he got half of the protagonist aura after killing the Blood Bath Queen, that would be truly terrible.

It would mean the other half was definitely on the Piercing Demon.

Of course, what would be even worse was if he only got a third or a quarter, which would mean the number of bosses would have to include the Blood Race Ancestor and the Red Sea Witch.

Worse still, if he and the Daywalker were the villains, the situation would be dire.

'Thinking about it now, the Piercing Demon holing up in Villerlis Town and not coming out is probably also thanks to the protagonist aura on the Daywalker.'

Otherwise, if two major bosses appeared, Qi Suian would have no choice but to tearfully slaughter the Daywalker to strengthen his own protagonist aura.

With the death of the Blood Bath Queen, the Red Sea receded from reality. The submerged Daywalker also woke up. Although his nap was short, it was incredibly deep and refreshing.

When he woke up, he was completely unaware of the current situation and only came to his senses after a moment of daze.

He saw what Qi Suian was doing.

"Fisher, how did you do it?" The Daywalker was baffled. From his perspective, he had just closed his eyes and opened them to find the big boss dead.

The entire process in between had been skipped.

"Of course, I relied on my immense willpower to resist the Red Sea's corruption, then picked up the Blood Race Sacred Artifacts and hacked the Blood Bath Queen to death." Qi Suian was a shameless liar, spinning a tale with a straight face.

But the Daywalker believed him, because there was really no other reasonable explanation.

"You are indeed the most powerful human I have ever met," the Daywalker said.

"I'm unworthy of such praise, truly." Qi Suian gave a wry smile. The Daywalker's "human" qualifier did make him a little awkward.

"Are you... going to be much longer?" the Daywalker asked, now eager to head back.

The war between the church and the Transylvania Kingdom must have already begun, and they surely had the upper hand by now.

If for no other reason, it was because with the Blood Bath Queen's death, the tide of blood that had enveloped the entire Transylvania Kingdom had completely vanished.

This meant the Blood Race had lost their protection and would be directly exposed to the sun. They were bound to be reduced to ash.

At the same time, it would send a message to the outside world: the Blood Bath Queen was dead.

Only her death could make her dark power disappear.

"If you have things to do, you can go ahead. There's no need to wait for me."

"Besides that Piercing Demon, there shouldn't be anyone left who can threaten you, right?" Qi Suian said frankly.

He still had to study the Blood Bath Queen's corpse, after all.

This wasn't some third-generation Blood Race member, but the legitimate offspring of the Blood Race Ancestor and the Red Sea Witch.

Its research value was absolutely immense.

Perhaps he could find a way to deal with the Piercing Demon.

He didn't want to get stuck in another stalemate like this one.

The Daywalker was just waiting for those words from Qi Suian, so he turned and left immediately.

He didn't even ask for the Execution Axe and Slaughter Knife back from Qi Suian's hands.

They were useless against the Piercing Demon, and he didn't need them for anyone else.

So he just let Qi Suian have them. Besides, Qi Suian was enjoying using them anyway.

"Tsk, looks like he's completely started to think of himself as human," Qi Suian clicked his tongue in wonder.

'Actually, the Blood Race and humans still have a chance to coexist. After all, the Blood Race are just transformed humans.'

'If they want blood, that's simple. Just have people donate some. Anyway, medical conditions for humans in the Middle Ages are limited; they have no use for blood transfusions.'

'If every human donated a hundred milliliters a month, the Blood Race could drink until they were stuffed.'

'And with the help of the Blood Race, the lives of humans would also be better.'

Qi Suian's idea was nice, but he knew the chances of it ever being realized were far too low.
