The Rule-Breaker of the Doomsday Game

Chapter 430: The Death Clan is Fated to Enter My Melting Furnace Today

"I once said that the Human Race could be spared, but the church had to be eliminated."

"In the end, Dracula left for his so-called descendant, and you couldn't care less. Heh," Sir Rusevan, a man as cold as he was handsome, said with a sneer.

He was an Elder of the Death Clan who typically wandered the various kingdoms disguised as a bard, seducing women wherever he went.

In Sir Rusevan's view, causing the purest of virgins to fall into utter shamelessness was his greatest pleasure.

He was considered one of the finest among the third-generation Blood Race; even the average Prince was no match for him.

"If she had listened to you, she wouldn't have ended up in this state," another Elder from the Death Clan, Anpsha, taunted from the side. She had once been a handmaiden to the Red Sea Witch Lilith.

The Blood Bath Queen ignored their snide remarks. After sweeping her gaze over them, she said softly, "Your objective is simple. All you have to do is stall the Daywalker."

"I'll take care of the rest."

Initially, she hadn't intended for the Death Clan to be the ones to spring this trap. Her first choice had been her elder brother, the Piercing Demon.

But her attempt at persuasion failed. Dracula, who was in Villerlis Town, had become completely obsessed with having an heir of his own.

To think that the great eldest son of the Blood Race Ancestor would end up in such a state. Perhaps this was the curse from the Red Sea.

A curse that could be traced back to Vlad III Cepes, Son of the Dragon.

It was a taboo union. His father was the Piercing Demon Dracula, and his mother was the Red Sea Witch Lilith.

But due to the Red Sea's instability and the taboo nature of their union, the Son of the Dragon was born an inherently flawed Blood Dragon.

But what the Blood Bath Queen saw as taboo was of little consequence to the Red Sea Witch. After all, the entire Red Sea was filled with dragons she had birthed.

Those chaotic, witless beasts, maniacs that knew only destruction and slaughter.

He possessed the power of a dragon but couldn't unleash it, forced to rely on the dark powers inherent to the Blood Race.

That was why Dracula was so desperate to sire a perfect heir.

The Blood Bath Queen didn't know where this obsession of Dracula's came from. Perhaps it started after he obtained the Corpse Hand of Cain, the Blood Race Ancestor. Or maybe it was after that taboo union.

In any case, she had failed to convince Dracula to help her, which was why she ultimately turned to the Death Clan.

"Heh, truly befitting the Blood Bath Queen. You'd have us stall the Daywalker. Don't tell me that human who stole the Blood Race's power is actually worthy of your personal attention?" the Red Sea Maid, Anpsha, continued her taunts.

'So what if the Blood Bath Queen is the Red Sea Witch's child? Does that mean I, a mere handmaiden, must respect her?'

'To put it bluntly, I spent more time with the Red Sea Witch than this mother and daughter ever did.'

'Of course I know how capricious the Red Sea Witch is. Even if the Blood Bath Queen is special, she's still just a tool in her mother's eyes.'

'We're all tools, so on what grounds am I just a third-generation handmaiden, while she gets to be a special second-generation heir?'

Her jealousy of the Blood Bath Queen, therefore, had taken root long ago.

She was deliberately targeting the Blood Bath Queen. There was nothing more to it.

The Blood Bath Queen had long grown accustomed to Anpsha's attitude and thus paid her words no mind.

"According to our intelligence, the Daywalker has three Blood Race Sacred Artifacts: the Execution Axe, the Slaughter Knife, and the Blood Cup." At the Blood Bath Queen's words, the expressions of the Death Clan members present changed slightly.

"I can understand the Execution Axe and the Slaughter Knife, but isn't the Blood Cup supposed to be in your possession?" Sir Rusevan interrupted.

"As for the thief, he has six Blood Race Sacred Artifacts in his possession: the Rot Bracelet, the Bone Zither, the Spirit Staff, the Soul Ring, the Ghost Lamp, and a Poison Vial."

"By now, it's highly likely the thief has full control over these six Blood Race Sacred Artifacts. If you think you can defeat him quickly, by all means, the pleasure is all yours." The Blood Bath Queen had no intention of answering Sir Rusevan's question.

At this, all the Blood Race members present fell silent.

After a long silence, Sir Rusevan finally asked, "How did the Demon Faction and the Secret Faction let Blood Race Sacred Artifacts fall into human hands?"

Even if the remaining four Blood Race Sacred Artifacts were all in the hands of the Blood Race, it wouldn't even be half of what the humans possess.

How could these still be called Sacred Artifacts of the Blood Race? You might as well call them Human Race Sacred Artifacts at this point.

"That's not the point. The point is, why can the thief use these six Blood Race Sacred Artifacts? He's merely a human."

"He couldn't also be a Cursed Child, like the Daywalker, could he?" The Red Sea Maid Anpsha aimed her barb directly at the Blood Bath Queen, seemingly trying to shift the blame onto her.

"Your job is to stall the Daywalker. You don't need to think about anything else. Do you understand?" The Blood Bath Queen completely ignored their questions, asking only if they understood her command.

"An attitude like that makes it very difficult for us to help you, Elizabeth." Sir Rusevan knew the Blood Bath Queen was powerful, but since he was here to help, he felt he was owed an explanation.

Hearing this, the Blood Bath Queen couldn't help but laugh. "Help? Do you think that just because you're third-generation Blood Race members sired by Dracula, you can disregard me?"

"Dracula refused my request, but he gave me your true names."

"How else do you think I summoned you all here?"

"This is an order!"

In that instant, everyone's expressions turned incredibly ugly. The Red Sea Maid, Anpsha, looked as though she had just eaten shit, realizing the Blood Bath Queen now held her true name.

"I don't believe it! It must be you—AH!" The Red Sea Maid Anpsha couldn't accept it and was the first to step forward in defiance.

She couldn't even finish her sentence before agony erupted from the depths of her soul.

The Blood Bath Queen was using her true name to torture her. Anpsha collapsed limply to the ground, her body twisting as she wailed, on the verge of losing her sanity.

Someone who constantly challenged her authority was the perfect candidate to make an example of, especially since the Red Sea Maid's power was not to be underestimated.

The torment continued for several minutes before it finally ceased. The Red Sea Maid slowly picked herself up, her skin now sagging and aged.

Her gaze toward the Blood Bath Queen was now a mixture of hatred and terror. She had been thoroughly cowed, no longer daring to offer three retorts for every one of the Queen's statements as she had before.

She knew how to read a room, at least.

"Well then, do you have any more questions?" the Blood Bath Queen asked.

"I do. I'm not satisfied with your assignments," a voice suddenly interjected. "I don't want to fight you. You're too strong."

"I want to fight this bunch of weaklings."

Qi Suian, standing among the crowd of Death Clan members, offered his own suggestion.

He wasn't met with the Blood Bath Queen's answer, but with her powerful attack.

Her right hand transformed into a dragon's claw. Half-dragonized and channeling the power of darkness, she moved to crush Qi Suian.

However, the Daywalker was prepared, intercepting the Blood Bath Queen's attack with the Execution Axe and Slaughter Knife.

Both sides aimed to press their advantages and exploit the other's weaknesses.

But things rarely go according to plan. It all came down to who struck first.

As it happened, Qi Suian was lucky enough to get the first strike.

He grabbed Sir Rusevan and the Red Sea Maid, then brought their heads together for an "intimate" meeting.

As their heads made contact, their skulls burst on impact, shattering into fragments.

But that wasn't the end of it. Qi Suian lifted the two of them and, using their bodies as weapons, swept through the rest of the Death Clan.

The members of the Death Clan were all special, powerful individuals from various other clans.

However, they were facing Qi Suian. Even if their undying nature allowed them to endure horrific attacks, it was utterly useless.

Even with their regeneration, being weaker than their enemy just made them durable punching bags.

Fragments of flesh and bone flew everywhere, only to squirm and reassemble thanks to their undying nature.

Take Sir Rusevan and the Red Sea Maid, for example. Even as Qi Suian wielded them like clubs, the two Blood Race members' heads had already regenerated.

But before they could do anything else, Qi Suian ripped their heads off again, this time taking the spines with them.

"Fisher, I think you'd better hurry it up..."

With a loud CRASH, the Daywalker was sent flying back, tumbling several times before landing at Qi Suian's feet.

His body was twisted into unnatural shapes; he had clearly taken a vicious beating from the Blood Bath Queen.

On the other side, the Blood Bath Queen was no longer in her human form. However, having learned her lesson from their last encounter, she hadn't transformed into a full dragon either.

Instead, she had taken on a form similar to the Dragon People.

"I'll have Fei help you. Just hold on a little longer. Three minutes, just three minutes!" As Qi Suian spoke, Fei's enormous figure materialized.

But it had barely solidified when a crimson tide crashed into it, instantly blasting Fei to dust.

"Looks like your Fei isn't all that great," the Daywalker said, speechless, after he recovered.

It wasn't the original, after all. The difference in power was just too vast.

"One minute. I can buy you one minute at most." The Daywalker sighed. Bracing himself, he charged forward once more, Execution Axe and Slaughter Knife in hand.

"Try to last a little longer. The fight's not even been thirty seconds," Qi Suian said. 'The Daywalker's not holding up,' he thought.

Qi Suian casually tossed the heads, spines, and bodies of Sir Rusevan and the Red Sea Maid directly into the Melting Furnace.

His gaze then fell upon the remaining members of the Death Clan.

These were all third-generation, Prince-level members of the Blood Race. Naturally, their regenerative abilities were formidable.

"Run! Everyone, run!" It's unclear which Blood Race member shouted it, but in an instant, they all scattered in every direction.

The main reason was that Sir Rusevan and the Red Sea Maid had died far too quickly, and Qi Suian hadn't even used traditional weaknesses against them, like wooden stakes or Holy Water.

But now that they were in Qi Suian's sights, there was no way he would let them go.

They were fuel, after all. Even if they were low-grade, Qi Suian operated on the principle of letting nothing go to waste, no matter how small.

Thirteen Blood Race Blood Seals circled around him as he simultaneously brought forth the six Blood Race Sacred Artifacts.

When the members of the Death Clan saw this, their hearts filled with despair.

'A mere human can actually wield our Blood Race's Sacred Artifacts? How is that even possible? It defies all reason!'
