Chapter 237 The Uber Labyrinth (1)
In just a few more days, Ji Yuan and his party had gathered an additional five more silver keys.
After Ji Yuan had found the first silver key, he had developed the knack of finding more of the silver keys.
While in the labyrinth, they had dodged traps, kill more desolate beasts and had also met at least twenty plus cultivators.
The encounter with the other cultivators was mostly peaceful as Ji Yuan was in a bigger party and everyone was only interested in finding their way to the Uber Labyrinth to complete this trial.
These cultivators however quickly dodged out of Ji Yuan’s way and were even afraid of their bigger group so he did not even have the chance to ask for their names or for any meaning directions.
A few even bolted immediately.
Ji Yuan muttered. “These cultivators are a little too cautious…”
Ling Feiyue laughed. “Like you are when we have first met.”
Ji Yuan: …
Right…
When Ji Yuan had learnt that Ling Feiyue was a seventh realm saintess, he had bolted from her immediately after he was caught observing her secret duel.
“But I am not afraid of you now. Haha.” Ji Yuan laughed.
Ling Feiyue: …
Shui Xisi laughed. “Then what about me?”
Ji Yuan smiled weakly. “I am really a little afraid of you because you are such a tigress.”
Shui Xisi: …
She immediately kicked and punched Ji Yuan but Ji Yuan quickly dodged out of her way with a soft chuckle.
Bai Qianfeng laughed softly as she looked at Ji Yuan silently. “It is so good to have a cultivation partner like Ji Yuan…”
She had never expected that a lofty goddess like her would fall in love with a mere celestial like Ji Yuan. In the past, it was unthinkable…
Ji Yuan had moved her heart and had even given her a celestial sword without a second thought…
“My lord…” Bai Qianfeng muttered silently as she continued to look at Ji Yuan with a flush look.
After they had found the six silver keys, they soon found a large cavern with three portals. They knew immediately that one of the portals would lead them to the uber labyrinth, one to the entrance of the trial and the other one would take into a spatial space where they had to wait until the end of trials of the Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth.
Naturally there was a black stele in front of the portals to serve as a guide for them.
Except that there were a few problems.
They were not alone.
A large dragon like desolate beast was lying in front of the portals and its butt was touching the black stele.
Without touching the black stele, they had no way of knowing which portals to enter even if they had the silver keys.
And this large dragon was a seventh rank profound desolate beast!
Not only that was the case, there were also five other cultivators that were hiding out of sight from the large desolate beast and they had spotted Ji Yuan and his party.
One of the cultivators sarcastically said. “We are waiting for more reinforcements but it turn out that there are ‘five maidens’.”
Ji Yuan immediately whispered back. “What? Are you looking down on women?”
Another cultivator hummed coldly. “Don’t expect us to protect your women later.”
Another cultivator said. “Be quiet! We need some team work now to take down this fearsome profound desolate beast together. This is a seventh rank monster and is not a joking matter to deal with. In fact, it is a life and death battle to fight it. Do you all want to die?”
Another cultivator nodded before he solemnly said. “I am a saint here. The whole lot of you should do as I say if you want to live. I have previously killed three seventh rank profound beasts and I am probably the most experienced…”
Before he could finish what he was going to say, Bai Qianfeng had flashed in front of the large profound beast and had unsheathed her celestial-step sword and had brutally whacked it.
There was a thunderous implosion as she sent the large desolate beast to crash onto the walls of the cavern.
Immediately the seventh rank profound beast began to whimper and appeared to be submissive as it bent in front of her.
All five of the cultivators were startled!

And this maiden was a peaked great saintess as well!
The same cultivator was now stammering weakly. “This, this…”
Bai Qianfeng frowned. “So you don’t want to fight and wants to follow me? You’re too big and I can’t allow you to follow me.”
Immediately the seventh rank profound beast shrunk to a small size that was as small as a house cat.
Bai Qianfeng: …
She sighed. “Since you want to follow me, I have no objections but you must not harm my friends and you can only attack only when I have asked you to. Got it?”
The miniature seventh rank profound beast nodded immediately as she whimpered loudly.
“Since you are a female profound beast then I shall call you Yuanyuan.” Bai Qianfeng proclaimed with beaming delight.
Ji Yuan: …
What the heck?!
The other five cultivators were too stunned for words. This maiden had actually intimidated a seventh rank profound desolate beast and had even made her into her spirit beast with a spirit collar…
Who is this maiden?
She is too fierce…
All five cultivators were staring speechless at this maiden with a curtain veil. As for her appearance, they could not see clearly and they were now afraid that she may now suddenly turn upon them…
Ji Yuan laughed weakly as he walked to Bai Qianfeng, followed by Ling Feiyue, Little Princess, Shui Xisi and Feng Minyue. “Qianfeng, you should let me do the job.”
Bai Qianfeng chuckled softly. “Sorry I am a little impatient after spending several days here.” Then she held Yuanyuan to her bosoms and showed it to Ji Yuan. “Look! This is my Yuanyuan.”
Ji Yuan smiled weakly. “Why did this desolate beast suddenly decides to follow you…”
Bai Qianfeng replied coolly. “It is because it is the nature of this type of desolate beast to be submissive to the strongest.”
Ji Yuan rubbed his chin before he muttered. “Sounds like you.”
Bai Qianfeng: …
Ling Feiyue and Little Princess laughed softly at their antics before they said together. “Let’s check the black stele.”
They soon found out that taking the blue portal to the left would take them to the uber labyrinth and that they would only require one key as a single key would last for an hour.
Ji Yuan muttered. “How do I know that I will only need one key and not six keys?” He had actually found a silver key for each one of them.
“Well in that case…” All of a sudden he threw the remaining silver keys except for one into the portal that lead to the entrance of the trial. “This is for those that have not reached the uber labyrinth yet.”
After he had said that, Ji Yuan and his party had entered the portal that led to the uber labyrinth, leaving the five cultivators behind with a stunned expression.
One of them muttered. “Should we follow them?”
Another said. “Be thankful that they did not massacre us.”
“That maiden is too fierce.” Another cultivator weakly said.
