Chapter 362: Smells Pretty Good

Chen Erbao waited in the hallway for a while before Bai Xiaoqing came out.

They went downstairs, found an ordinary restaurant, and had a simple meal.

The moment they finished eating, his phone rang.

"Excuse me, is this President Chen?"

"Yes, I am," Chen Erbao replied calmly.

"I'm the head of the Zhao Group's operations in Mianyang City. Chairman Zhao already gave the instructions. President Chen, you're here to take over the factory, aren't you?"

"That's right."

"Alright, President Chen. Where are you now? I can come pick you up, and we can go check out the factory together."

"That won't be necessary. Just send me the address. I'll get there myself."

A few moments later, Chen Erbao was once again driving Bai Xiaoqing, heading to the address the man had sent.

The Mianyang City factory was located in the suburbs, but it wasn't too remote. Being relatively close to the city, they arrived after a half-hour drive.

The factory grounds were huge. From the outside, the paint on the walls still looked relatively new.

A portly middle-aged man stood at the factory gate, looking left and right and checking his watch from time to time.

Chen Erbao parked the car at the factory gate. Just as he got out, the man walked over with a big smile on his face. "Hello, President Chen. My name is Sun He, the head of the Zhao Group in Mianyang City!"

Chen Erbao shook his hand and looked at the factory before them. "It looks quite new!"

Sun He chuckled and explained, "You might not be aware, President Chen, but Chairman Zhao ordered us to renovate the entire factory a while ago. Everything from the employee dormitories to the office spaces has been newly refurbished. I'm sure it will meet your standards!"

The three of them walked into the factory, and Sun He introduced it as they went. "President Chen, this factory used to be one of the Zhao Group's garment factories, but it wasn't very profitable. Chen Erbao looked to his right. A seven-story office building stood amidst a patch of greenery.

Sun He took the documents and bid farewell to Chen Erbao and Bai Xiaoqing, leaving his assistant to stay with them.

Chen Erbao returned to the factory gate, took out a Spirit-Containing Object from the trunk, and led Bai Xiaoqing to the warehouse.

There were two warehouses in total, one large and one small. Chen Erbao went into the small one and saw that his previous request to Zhao Feng had been fulfilled.

The small warehouse had no windows and was well-sealed. A large pool had been built right in the middle, and it was already filled with clean water.

Bai Xiaoqing stood guard outside the door. Chen Erbao took out the Spirit-Containing Object, and with a stir of his Divine Thought, he cast a Concealing Technique over it before placing it at the bottom of the pool.

Wisps of Spiritual Qi quickly began to seep out from the pool. Although it was still very thin, it was already starting to take effect.

Chen Erbao nodded, glanced at the fully-equipped security cameras all around, and left the warehouse.

"Xiaoqing, have a manager come over tomorrow to take charge of the factory here. Also, press the security company to train thirty guards as soon as possible to watch over the warehouse and the factory."

Bai Xiaoqing had brought her laptop on this trip specifically for remote communication and work.

She noted the tasks on her phone, planning to start on them as soon as they got back.

The two of them walked around the factory a few more times before finally returning to the hotel.

Chen Erbao seized the opportunity to push the door open and slip inside.
