Chapter 2957: A Mummy Capable of Turning the Realm Upside Down II

The coffin floated alone in the air, motionless in front of everyone staring at it. Meanwhile, the two beings carrying it disappeared for an instant, reappearing on either side of Minos, so fast that few nearby saw their movements.

The True Celestials there with Minos trembled at the speed of the two mysterious individuals, still unable to sense their cultivation, but certain that these were powerful beings even by the standards of the realm.

Devdar felt his sweat turn cold, and instinctively understood who the enemies were.

"It can't be... Are they really that terrifying?" He directed his powers through his throne, not hesitating even for a second to act in defense of Minos.

The other Deities did much the same as Devdar, each of them understanding the gravity of the situation while fearing the worst.

They weren't sure of the enemies' strength, but from the aura coming from the coffin and the speed of those two, they were facing a threat of the end of the 13th stage!

Minos predicted the enemies' first moves and moved to dodge the first one's attack while counterattacking the second.

His body transformed into a magnificent golden and silver dragon, while his throne glowed brightly, illuminating the surroundings.

A giant hourglass appeared beside Minos, and for an instant, he replicated the enemies' movements, disappearing from where he stood and reappearing in another position.

"You won't kill me so easily!" he said in a thunderous tone, his mere voice echoing throughout the dimension, causing space and time to tremble.

The first of the two mysterious enemies missed his target, while the second found himself under the giant claws of Tian Wang's successor dragon.

But he said nothing, nor did he show any signs of despair. 'You have almost entirely awakened the powers of Tian Wang... Impressive, but if that's all you've got, your journey ends here!'

Raising his hands as if to defend himself from Minos' immense claws, this mysterious enemy caused a giant metallic ring to appear around himself and his target.

Meanwhile, the other mysterious opponent wasted no time, directing his efforts against the Deities trying to help Minos. With a strange laugh, he attacked the alliance trying to help Tian Wang's successor against his ally.

'You can watch the end of your companion, but you won't be able to help him.'

The True Celestials of levels 125 and 126 were pushed away by invisible forces, some being knocked out without even understanding where they had been attacked from.

As for the level 127 beings and Devdar, they managed to defend themselves minimally, but were still pushed away from Minos and prevented from attacking their leader's opponent.

Minos paid no attention to the situation of his allies when he felt his time power stop working.

Minos did not fail to notice what that giant ring the enemy had summoned was, and became a few degrees more resolute.

'As expected. They are prepared to deal with the supposed successor to the Celestial King,' he thought as he felt the pressure from the coffin, the action of the second mysterious enemy, but also the subsequent movement of the one behind the giant ring.

But Minos did not despair. Perhaps part of his powers were indeed similar to those of Tian Wang. However, not everything he was capable of should be related to that ancient entity. From what he had already studied and learned, what he had from the Celestial King was more his powers of Divinity and less his abilities nurtured throughout his journey.

Tian Wang was not a dragon. He had no special techniques, such as the Devouring Art, much less powers related to Hell.

The Hell did not exist in Tian Wang's era, but negative powers were already a reality, which he, the Celestial King, had not mastered.

Armed with this knowledge, Minos charged forward against the enemy closest to him. "I don't know where you came from, but trusting in the past will prove to be the biggest mistake you ever made!"

His aura exploded, rising to a level where Minos' aura surpassed Devdar's soul power, while black vortexes appeared around the area.

The surrounding water was mercilessly swallowed up, while intense gravitational fields suddenly appeared, moving only against the enemies and their powers.

Minos did not hesitate to draw a giant golden sword, cutting through the very space of the realm as he aimed at the enemy's neck.

Even Minos' allies, who were still conscious, were horrified by the power of that attack, which, beneath Lydis' major movement, could already be considered the strongest in the entire dimension!

"Oh?" The voice from the coffin sounded once more, while the sounds of creaking wood reverberated throughout the underwater world.

The other mysterious enemy let out a worried sound as he moved toward his ally, while the being in Minos' sights moved defensively, for the first time in this situation not showing an air of superiority.

The black cloak covering his body fell away, finally revealing a mummified body, with only the area between the eyes and mouth uncovered.

This being had a humanoid body, with purple skin and red eyes, yellowish teeth, large and sharp as carnivores' teeth should be. The area where his nose should have been had gills, while triangular marks stood out on his dark cheeks.

Despite his appearance, the most striking thing about the creature was his aura.

Level 126, only!

"Impossible!" Devdar shouted in horror, not believing that such a powerful being could have such a weak cultivation.

Almost everyone still conscious was shocked, their perceptions of reality falling as they watched the enemy use everything he had to defend himself from Minos.

Minos was also surprised amid his killing move. But he wasn't that surprised, given the identity he assumed these beings had.

'These are probably the successors of the Celestial King's enemies! No wonder they are like me!' He pondered the extreme power of these beings, even though their cultivation levels were still 'weak,' as was his own case.

But Minos did not lose heart. In his eyes, he was still stronger than that enemy!

While one opponent tried to protect himself from Minos' attack and the other tried to counterattack Minos, he continued to use his powers unrelated to the Celestial King.

'I need to finish these two in a single move! I still have to worry about that damn coffin!'
