Chapter 2031 The Hidden Betrayer
Chapter 2031 The Hidden Betrayer
Despite being hidden from the sight of this massive army that was growing at every moment, Eos did not move or try to make any changes in his surroundings.
Although he was fairly sure that he understood Nyxara’s plot, he could still be wrong, and this might be a trap set for him.
Not moving from his location, Eos stayed still for three thousand years. According to the instructions Nyxara gave him, he still had another thirty thousand years until it reached the two-million-year mark that she stipulated. He could afford to wait.
It was not frequent, but like massive corrupted suns, he saw the Ancient Primordials traveling across the distance, sowing seeds of madness and ruin.
The sight that he saw worried him. Eos had always known that his enemies had access to abilities and powers that were deeply hidden, but it was still shocking to witness it in action.
His Origin Realms were developing rapidly, even though Eos had artificially accelerated the growth of the inhabitants; he could not equal the cruelty of the Primordials, who were basically butchering billions just to quickly elevate a single person.
Eos hated to admit it, but it was working. The power that the Ancient Primordials had managed to accumulate in a million years was ridiculous. How much stronger would they become in a billion years?!
There must be a point of diminishing return in the future where numbers would become meaningless, but who knows what else might come to life in that intervening period, and this was just one of the four major enemies he had to face, and they were probably the least dangerous in terms of the sort of armies they could create.
He believed in the potential of his Origin Realms, and he knew that in a billion years, he would have accumulated forces of such great number and strength that it was presently impossible for him to determine what the future would be like.
When it came to matters of the higher dimension, there were too many moving pieces in play, and he did not know what sort of genius might be born in the future or the sort of technique they might create. Although it was indeed extremely improbable, there was always a possibility that a child would be born that equal to his potential.
This was one of the reasons he had hope in the Origin Realms despite the endless armies that would descend upon them in the future. In his Origin Realms, there was hope for a miracle and the appearance of something that had never been seen before. Origin was a power of endless possibilities, and Eos had unleashed his potential and power upon that land, making it a fertile ground for miracles to happen.
The future was unknown; it may lead to changes that he may not expect, and it most likely would lead to his doom, but Eos was prepared to shake Limbo to the core before he was defeated, and if he ever fell, his enemies for the rest of their lives would never forget his name.

Another ten thousand years went by, and Eos was satisfied that Nyxara had not laid down a trap for him, but the opposite, she was giving him free rein to butcher her siblings!
In the last major battle where Eos, the Abomination, Death, and the Ancient Primordials had gathered, although it may have looked like Eos was victorious, defeating all of them together and forcing them to follow his will, there was one party who had suffered more greatly than all the others, and it was the Ancient Primordials.
Eos had noticed earlier in the battle that Asteroath was dead, and what made it even more fascinating was that the killer of the Primordial had become their ally. Death humiliated and killed one of their brethren and forced them to join hands with it.
Nyxara knew Eos, and the reverse was also the case; Eos knew Nyxara quite deeply, and he knew that the one thing she hated even more than death was failure and humiliation.
She did not blame Death for killing her brother; no, she blamed her brother for being so pathetic that he would fall into the hands of a Beast, and Eos had watched her during their battles, and he saw her dissatisfaction with her siblings.
What cemented this oncoming betrayal was the power he saw Primordial Soul wield at the end, and if not for the unique powers of the Origin Realms that could stretch space if it were destroyed, Nyxara would have claimed the Primordial Record, and the next events would be something very different.
However, she had failed, and Eos knew that even if she blamed herself for that failure, she blamed her siblings more.
With all of these in mind, Eos only had to go through the memory of that battle and observe the spear wielded by Nyxara to see what the fusion that occurred when Soul and Light came together, and he observed a fascinating thing.
Nyxara had not finished swallowing the power of Asteroath, after all, Primordial Light was filled with millions of Origin Forces of Light, and devouring him was a tall order that would take billions of years at the shortest or even trillions of years.
Every day that passed, Nyxara grew more dangerous. However, this was not the only observation that Eos had made, because he could see that Nyxara had not fully digested the Origin of Asteroath; he was able to see that for her to be able to do this, Asteroath must have given up his Origin freely to her.
The Ancient Primordials were hateful creatures who schemed among themselves if they did not detect any outside threat against them. Their foul nature only made them cooperate because they were seeking a similar goal, but the moment they achieved what they wanted, all bets were off.
He saw this play out in a similar fashion inside Eosah’s Reality and knew that one of the reasons he was alive was the disunity between the Ancient Primordials.
Asteroath would never give Primordial Soul his powers, not unless he hated someone or something so intensely that he was willing to give up his strength just to punish or destroy that threat.
