We waited for the monsters to come, and then one screamed, "The enemies are here!"

So all of us got into position, and I took out my bow and arrows.

And I put an arrow in the bow and augmented it with aura and then black flame.

Then I took my aim and saw hundreds of monsters, so I didn’t hesitate and shot the arrow at them.

It directly went and hit a few of the demon minions and burned them away.

I looked at the barrage of notifications and looked at the mass of the demon beasts.

The knights and adventurers went to the front line and attacked them.

Nyx used her darkness and ice to make a bunch of small projectiles and shoot at them.

I got a good idea, and before that I shot a few more arrows and killed a few of the demon beasts and immediately dropped the bow and made a fireball and covered it with an aura barrier and filled the ball with massive amounts of fire and looked at the monster wave and

looked for a spot where normally adventurers and knights were not present and threw the fireball, and once it went up above them I released the aura.

And the fireball exploded and split into small fireballs and hit the demon beasts, and I got a barrage of notifications.

And I got massive amounts of messages that I killed the demon beasts, and after a few moments it showed a level-up message and I went up 3 levels at once. My eyes lit up.

Nyx looked at me, and her eyes widened. "That’s an amazing attack. Quite creative of you."

I nodded and said, "That’s right. You didn’t even see a fraction of my greatness."

Then Nyx put a hand on her forehead and said, "I retract what I said. Treat it as if I didn’t say anything."

I just grinned, took out my sword, and looked at Nyx. "How about we go to the front line? We killed the masses, but if we keep attacking like that normal people will get hurt."

She nodded and sprinted toward the enemy and began her slaughter of the demon beasts. They have red skin and horns.

From what I observed until now, they are no different from beasts, so I too went with my sword augmented by aura and black flame and cut through the demon beasts one by one.

It’s a good thing most of them are level 20, so I kill them easily. They act like mindless beasts, and then I saw one demon who has darker red skin commanding the other demon beasts to attack.

So I determined to kill him first. I pushed myself from the ground and went toward him.

And I used the darkness to create dark tentacles and infused their tips with flames and attacked the demon beasts surrounding him and killed them. They die because all my attacks went as masses, and as soon as one burns, fire spreads to the other beasts.

And the commanding demon noticed me coming toward it, so it raised a spear and attacked me with it.

I blocked it with my sword and used a dark flame ball to hit him, but it avoided it and attacked me with its spear that was augmented with darkness.

My eyes narrowed, and I used my aura in the sword and met its attacks and deflected them and went on the offensive and attacked with a barrage of attacks at him.

And he blocked all of them with its spear, and then something unexpected happened. A knight came and stabbed the demon in the back and killed it.

And the demon died by that attack. My eyes widened, and the knight looked at me and said, "Good job, kid. You fight well. Sorry for interfering, but I hope you understand we need to kill them as fast as we can."

I nodded. "Yes, sir. I understand. It doesn’t matter who kills it. As soon as we kill them the village is safe."

The knight nodded with approval. "Then I’ll move on to kill others."

I nodded. "Good luck."

Then I looked at the demon who died and activated my Devour skill.

I felt my darkness become more closely connected, so I tried it out and moved to my next target. There are many more demons to kill. As for that knight who stole my kill, this is a battlefield, not an exam that counts kills, so that is extremely reasonable, and even if it bothers me I can talk about it right there and resolve it.

I looked at the demon beasts that the commanding demon commanded. They are like headless ants, so I went around and killed them one by one fast because they are still unorganized because the commander died.

And I went on a rampage on the battlefield. No demon beast can stop me. They are like training dummies. It only takes one sword slash to kill them.

They are mindless beasts. If the commander dies they are just EXP bags for me.

Then I looked at Nyx’s side and saw darkness and ice used to kill demons in masses.

She went like a dark bullet on the battlefield and killed them.

Other adventurers and most knights switched from defending to offensive because we killed most of them and made the way for them.

I used my absorb abilities and got attributes in mid-battle before they turned into complete ash.

And many of my attributes went through the roof, and I got stronger the more I killed them.

Then I felt a strong aura, so I looked in that direction and saw a black demon with a little longer horns and wings.

Nyx felt it too, so Nyx left the normal demon beasts to others and came to look at it.

And a few knights came as well and got ready to fight it.

I started by shooting a fireball, but that demon used darkness to get rid of the spell.

Nyx went and started with a head-on attack. The demon got a massive axe and blocked her attack.

I smirked and used black flame on my sword and went to cut off an arm.

But he backed off and met with a knight.

But that knight is a tank, so the demon attacked him and the knight absorbed the attack.

Before it could gain momentum we went and attacked together, but it’s extremely difficult to land a hit because it’s blocking everything with a giant axe and counterattacking with it, so we have to be careful not to get injured.

Then I saw knights surrounding the demon. Then he laughed, opened its wings, and went off into the sky.

My eyes widened, and I looked at Nyx and asked, "What are we going to do now?"

She told me, "Get the bow and attack. He can’t stay in the sky forever."

"You keep him in the sky. I’ll go and kill the demon beasts. He can’t command and fight us at the same time."

An evil smile appeared on my face, and I got the bow and looked at the demon with glee and said to Nyx, "You got it."
