Chapter 1084 - Picking Up The Scraps

Han Wu refused to disperse his pressure.

Explosive rage erupted within the Demonfire Dragon Emperor, and Demonfire blazed across its body in a terrifying display. It wanted to crush Han Wu.

The Jade Dragon Emperor intercepted it as before. Left with no other option, the Demonfire Dragon Emperor settled for using its power to drive its followers away from the area. That would at least save it a sliver of its reputation.

Han Wu scoffed. Go ahead and bully me. I can’t beat you, but I can bully your lackeys.

Two more massive figures flew out from deeper within the Great Dragons’ territory and landed in Dragonkin form. They were a strikingly handsome man and a gorgeous woman.

The breathtaking man was a Dragon Emperor called Caesar, also known as the Radiant Dragon Emperor.

The woman with alluring eyes and a graceful figure was Elsa, or the Battle Dragon Emperor.

Their arrival marked the assembly of all four Dragon Emperors.

The Radiant Dragon Emperor and the Battle Dragon Emperor sensed the Defier’s aura on Han Wu. Unlike the Demonfire Dragon Emperor, they greeted him amicably.

Han Wu responded with courtesy, but not submission.

The Demonfire Dragon Emperor only grew angrier at this. “He’s not a Great Dragon! He doesn’t deserve the Defier title!”

“Umbrathur, the Defier’s aura cannot be faked. The title has already taken root in this youngling. Please don’t make things difficult for him,” the Radiant Dragon Emperor said plainly.

Despite the Battle Dragon Emperor’s delicate appearance, fighting was in her bones, and she boldly declared, “Defier, if you can beat me, I’ll accept you.”

Han Wu glanced at her slender figure and shook his head. She seems so fragile in her Dragonkin form. Why is she so obsessed with fighting?

Regardless of his thoughts, he knew she was still a Dragon Emperor, a being on the Jade Dragon Emperor’s level. Talented as he was, he dared not challenge someone of that caliber.

He didn’t mind playing around, but not if it meant fighting to the death just to satisfy the Battle Dragon Emperor’s urges.

The Battle Dragon Emperor’s face darkened when Han Wu shook his head. “You won’t fight me? Do you look down on me? Never mind then, Umbrathur, I side with you today. Let’s take them both on!”

The Demonfire Dragon Emperor glanced at the Battle Dragon Emperor. It couldn’t understand her logic, but it was willing to overlook her unhinged tendencies if it meant having her on its side.

It was now two against two.

The Great Dragons watching were thoroughly confused. Do the Dragon Emperors want the Defier to return or not?

Just as the tension peaked and a fight seemed imminent, a piercing dragon roar echoed from the distance.

All four Dragon Emperors turned toward the sound. Their expressions shifted, and they reverted to their Great Dragon forms before speeding away. A number of Dragon Kings followed.

Han Wu was left standing alone in utter bewilderment. He had no idea what had just happened. Fortunately, Silver Dragon King Erebard in his divine realm had actually lived among the Great Dragons before, and it only took a quick inquiry for Han Wu to learn the answer.

That roar was an enemy alert!

Han Wu was shocked. The Great Dragons are supposed to be supreme rulers of countless realms. What species would be reckless enough to attack them? Do they have a death wish?

Unable to stifle his curiosity, Han Wu flew after the crowd. After a short flight, he reached a towering cliff face that served as a perimeter wall. The battle happening just beyond it was in full swing.

Great Dragons rained down dragon breaths from above, while countless giants hurled boulders upward from below.

Skyreach Giants swatted at the airborne Great Dragons with their nearly ten-thousand-meter-long clubs.

It was a brutal fight.

The giants periodically smashed Great Dragons out of the sky and trampled them to death underfoot. Dragon breaths felled just as many giants in turn. These fallen giants then became projectiles for their comrades or stepping stones underfoot.

Han Wu’s blood raced, but he didn’t act rashly. Any species bold enough to attack the Great Dragons head-on was no pushover. If he intervened and was recognized, the giants could treat it as the Divine Civilization getting involved.

If the Great Dragons and the Divine Civilization shared a strong alliance, the risk would have been worth it. However, the Great Dragons had never respected the Divine Civilization. They treated it as little more than a breeding farm to churn out Great Dragon soldiers.

This gave Han Wu even less reason to intervene. The more the Great Dragons were drained, the safer the Divine Civilization would be in the long run.

Still, he wasn’t one to watch passively either. As he scanned the battlefield, his eyes fell on corpses of giants and Great Dragons alike littering the ground.

The bodies of both species were considered treasures, but openly collecting them was out of the question. Getting caught would not only be humiliating but could even spark hostility.

That just meant he would have to pick them up stealthily

Han Wu summoned his Microcosm unit, Bow God Bart. After extensive training, Bart had mastered his Void Hunter gene and could wield it with ease.

Once Han Wu explained the task, Bart assured him that it would be easy. Condensing a Void arrow from his power, Bart nocked it, scanned the battlefield with his sharpshooter eyes, and let the arrow fly toward a nearly fallen giant. It struck the giant’s body.

A human-sized arrow was smaller than a toothpick to the Great Dragons and giants, so none of them even noticed. Through the embedded arrow, Bow God Bart remotely triggered the teleportation. The giant corpse was transported into Han Wu’s divine realm in the blink of an eye.

The battle was too intense for anyone to notice a single body vanishing.

“Beautifully done!” Han Wu praised without restraint before urging him to keep going. His philosophy was always to go big or go home, after all.

Bart’s arrows threaded through the chaos. The number of corpses teleported into the divine realm climbed rapidly.

Han Wu split his Netherworld Jurisdiction into an avatar and stationed it inside the divine realm to handle the summoning.

Undead giants and Great Dragons appeared one after another in his divine realm. A wide grin stretched across Han Wu’s face. He hoped this battle would never end.
