Chapter 1022 - The Mythic Titan

The Dark Faction, the Light Faction, and most recently, the Life Faction—three longtime powerhouses at the top of the Divine Civilization’s rankings—had fallen in succession.

This sequence of events had the entire civilization marveling. Old powers were crumbling, and new ones were rising, though no one could tell whether this signaled the coming of the civilization’s golden age or its decline.

Some factions were already testing their luck at snagging the vacated top ranks of the Divine Civilization, seeking to increase their fame and members. Both the Death and Wisdom Factions had the same idea.

The Death Faction held steady at second place despite the heavy losses its members had sustained. The Wisdom Faction’s ranking soared to ninth thanks to the generous war spoils from the Death God King. That was a meteoric rise for a faction barely a year old.

As for Han Wu, the Death God King was especially generous to the war’s greatest contributor and rewarded him with the Life Jurisdiction. The Life Jurisdiction was a major Jurisdiction and one of the more valuable ones at that.

Han Wu considered two abilities it could bond with. The first was Life Infusion, which used Faith Points, Divine Points, or Divine Essence to boost a unit’s potential. The second was Undying, which vastly accelerated wound recovery and stabilized vitality. He relied on it often, and it was a very powerful ability.

In the end, he chose Life Infusion for its relation to life and thus higher compatibility with the Jurisdiction.

Both their effects improved after bonding. The Life Jurisdiction massively increased Han Wu’s own vitality and could store excess Life Energy as a buffer against future damage. Meanwhile, Life Infusion gave Han Wu a new option of spending his Life Energy to raise a unit’s rank.

For the average Major God, burning their Life Energy to upgrade units was self-destructive, but for Han Wu, it was perfect.

Not only did Undying effectively grant him enormous Life Energy reserves, but his Conversion Jurisdiction could also transform any energy type into another. His Life Aspect could then purify that into high-quality Life Energy, which was ideal for boosting units.

He had one unit in desperate need of a boost. The Giant Enhancement Path was the only one with a sixth stage called Super Ultimate Evolution. Completing it would produce a Mythic Titan with its base strength at the Subcosm rank. Han Wu had been waiting for this.

Gathering his strongest units, he had them channel energy into him to convert and refine into pure Life Energy. Through Life Infusion, he then fed this purified energy into a Skyreach Giant that had reached the ultimate tier, making it a Heavenrender life form.

With the newly upgraded Life Infusion, its power slowly climbed, and its Life Energy slowly accumulated.

Despite his units helping him with the energy demands, the process still took three full days. The instant the required Life Energy threshold was met, the Skyreach Giant began its super ultimate evolution. The pressure of a Subcosm life form exploded out as a Mythic Titan emerged.

Han Wu’s first reaction was surprise.

The Mythic Titan was actually shorter than the Skyreach Giant. At first, he thought the evolution had failed, but then he checked its attributes and breathed a sigh of relief. It was a massive success.

Mythic Power granted the Mythic Titan a Divine Jurisdiction embryo from birth, which they would have to cultivate on their own to complete.

This particular Titan had awakened the Diamond Jurisdiction, a minor Jurisdiction with high potential. It could coat any body part with diamond for extreme hardness.

Unfortunately, it was still weak to high temperatures. Fire, lightning, and even sufficiently powerful light could damage it. Even so, Han Wu was still pleased. It was already a Subcosm life form. A little downside was nothing too surprising.

Titan Body allowed the Mythic Titan to freely change its size. It also scaled its powers proportionally. The bigger it grew, the stronger it became.

Giant's Ancestor was a growth skill that allowed the Mythic Titan to learn any technique from any other Giant race. Han Wu already had other Giant variants in his divine realm, so he summoned Kokkai Hanwu, as he had the nine Giant transformation types, to serve as the Mythic Titan’s instructor.

He was confident that the Mythic Titan’s strength would skyrocket once it learned the other skills of the Giant race. Its overall strength could even become on par with the other more powerful Subcosm life forms in his divine realm.

After checking the attributes of the Mythic Titan, Han Wu noticed a new, massive Diamond Microcosm in his sea of consciousness, originating from his new Mythic Titan.

It was almost the size of his Origin Microcosm. Its quality also spoke for itself, as it provided Han Wu with a lot of Diamond Energy.
