A few days had passed since they conquered Dungeon Castle, and Qiu Nuoya and the others were spending their time relaxing at home. They had already decided to leave for the royal capital sometime soon, but they had not settled on a specific date. With plenty of money in their pockets, there was no need for them to rush.

It would also take several days to arrange a horse drawn carriage, so they spent their days leisurely preparing for the journey.

Qiu Nuoya stayed in his room, devouring the books on magic circles he had acquired in Dungeon Castle. Once again, he was reminded that there were truly countless ways to use magic circles.

Take the bathtub he had obtained from that room, for example. It had no fewer than three magic circles engraved on it. The first caused water to flow from the faucet, the second heated the water, and the third purified and drained the dirty water.

In the modern world, electricity had been responsible for most of these functions. In this world, however, magic took its place.

Drawing magic circles for the four basic attributes of fire, earth, water, and wind was not particularly difficult for Qiu Nuoya anymore. He had reached a proficient level in magic of all four basic attributes, so converting the spell formulas into magic circles and drawing them was relatively easy for him.

Qiu Nuoya possessed more magic skills than most people. In addition to the four basic attributes of fire, earth, water, and wind, he also had Holy Magic, Dark Magic, Space-Time Magic, and even Spatial Magic.

Until now, Qiu Nuoya had barely made any use of Space-Time, Spatial Magic, or Dark Magic among the skills he possessed. In fact, he had not even understood what kind of magic they were or what their spell formulas looked like.

The teleportation magic circles were apparently connected to Space-Time Magic.

Space-Time Magic was a form of magic that twisted space and time, connecting one point to another. Teleportation was one of the applications of Space-Time Magic. It could even be used offensively to throw an enemy into the far reaches of space time.

Apparently, these special types of magic had very few practitioners, and Viktor was one of the rare people capable of using Space-Time Magic.

Teleportation allowed the caster to move from their current location to another place, but it was also an extremely dangerous spell. If the spell failed, the caster could become trapped between dimensions, or their body could end up being severed in half, with one half left on either side.

Qiu Nuoya already knew that he had the ability to use Space-Time Magic, but after hearing that, he naturally became reluctant to try it himself.

"I’ll give it a shot after I improve my proficiency with some of the other spells."

After all, what kind of idiot would get carried away thinking he could do it, only to die instantly because the spell failed?

That was also why Viktor had said it was difficult to teleport while bringing someone else along. When Qiu Nuoya had been a child, Viktor had been able to carry him while teleporting, but Qiu Nuoya had gradually grown larger.

Now that he understood that teleportation magic circles were based on Space-Time Magic, he finally decided that the time had come for him to master teleportation himself.

Even so, Qiu Nuoya was not bold enough to put his own life at risk by attempting teleportation right from the start. His training therefore began with something much safer: moving small objects.

He focused on the pen lying on his desk and repeatedly practiced moving it from the desktop onto the floor.

"Teleport!"

The pen sitting in front of Qiu Nuoya disappeared from the desk and rolled across the floor.

Qiu Nuoya picked it up and carefully inspected it for any signs of damage. If the spell failed, the pen could end up cleanly split in half, which was hardly something to laugh about.

It seemed fine this time. However, as he examined it from every angle, he noticed that the tip had chipped slightly.

It was only a tiny chip, but imagining what that would mean if it happened to a human body sent a shiver down his spine.

Qiu Nuoya had never expected to master the spell overnight, but since this was something that could cost him his life, he knew he had to learn it with extreme caution.

"Ah, this really isn’t going well. Time for a break."

Qiu Nuoya lay down on his bed and checked his status.

His Space-Time Magic skill level showed no sign of increasing from Level 1. Perhaps because it was a special skill, raising its level was not something that could be done easily.

Come to think of it, what was Viktor’s Space-Time Magic skill level? Qiu Nuoya decided he would ask him next time.

"Come to think of it, I haven’t used Spatial Magic at all either... Huh!?"

Qiu Nuoya casually tapped Spatial Magic on the status window.

To his surprise, another window suddenly opened, and several skill names appeared one after another across the screen.

Qiu Nuoya stared at it in astonishment.

He rarely opened his status screen in the first place, so this was the first time he had discovered that the window had such a function.

Huh? What’s this? Isolation? Expansion? Item Box?

The words were displayed in inverted colors. Did that mean they were hidden, or perhaps that the skills were not yet available for use?

Qiu Nuoya decided to test it by saying, "Item Box."

Only the words "Item Box" changed color. At the same time, a suspicious looking box appeared in front of him. Its lid suddenly popped open.

The inside of the box was completely empty.

As a test, Qiu Nuoya placed the pen from earlier inside it. This time, the words "Items ×1" appeared on the lid, and the pen smoothly disappeared.

The box was empty once again.

Is this a box version of a Magic Bag?
