Chapter 195 - 192: Scared Witless and Crooked Ideas

The Eye of Void's mind and spirit had grown unstable at times, a consequence of being a single, solitary eyeball.

But that didn't mean its memory and comprehension were also deficient.

Dewina, Basaze, Gulans, Comir, Windsor, and Medland each represented one of the Six Great Order Laws.

But for countless ages, it had believed these names were merely personifications.

Although some remote or strange worlds worshiped one or a few of them as True Gods, it had always considered such worship a matter of faith. In essence, they were merely venerating the power of a specific Order.

Yes, that was what it had always believed!

But now!

Its Magic Mirror had inexplicably fallen into a completely unfamiliar world. This wasn't some tiny fragment of a world, nor was it a barren Broken Origin World.

The number of lifeforms within its ecosystem was beyond imagination, yet there were no discernible fluctuations of Magic Power.

Now it understood!

A conspiracy! A massive conspiracy!

This was a hidden world. Hidden by whom? The truth no longer seemed to matter.

What flowed within the red-haired figure before it was less like terrifying Magic Power and more like the Order of Truth itself.

Her aura was strikingly similar to the Statue of Comir it had seen countless times, but with one key difference: this was a living being.

Or rather, a living god!

Nothing in its vast knowledge could explain this. There was only one possibility.

She was Comir!

The Six Great Order Laws were nothing but a colossal lie spun by the True Gods!

The Demon Eye now finally understood what Brown had just felt: a state of rigid immobility.

Brown had been frozen by the Demon Eye's power. The Demon Eye, however, was frozen by fear, its Magic Power dissipating and its body stiffening. In other words—it didn't dare move.

The two newly appeared figures were now looking at it with smiles on their faces. To the Eye of Void, it was the look of a predator sizing up its prey.

And the one standing beside Comir, wielding the Endless Abyss... what kind of being was he?

'Poor Niril Savannah,' it thought. 'That idiot with a brain full of magma... there's absolutely not a trace of him left.'

"You are a God of Order... the God of Truth? You... you are True Gods?"

There were indeed many powerful beings who were revered as gods in their own worlds and even in neighboring ones.

But in the Eye of Void's opinion, those "gods" were merely powerful and transcendent Magic Creatures. It would have addressed them directly by name if they met—well, it certainly would have before it was injured.

But now, it couldn't suppress its fear and had cried out the words "True God."

This was the incarnation of a true Law, the Law itself made manifest—and one of the unfathomably mysterious Six Great Order Laws at that.

When Qin Xiaoxia heard the giant eye cry out "Comir" in a voice filled with terror, he knew there was no need for any further explanation.

'It's so much easier when they know quality when they see it.'

"Hehehehe..."

The Red Demoness chuckled softly. To Qin Xiaoxia, and even to Brown and Luna who could only see her back, she was the very picture of dazzling allure.

But the Eye of Void was terrified, and her laughter sounded like a death knell.

If it had sweat glands, given its size, it would have been absolutely drenched in a downpour of sweat.

One wielded the Endless Abyss; the other was steeped in the Windsor Law and used the Law of Comir as her very source of Magic Power. From the outside, it was impossible to gauge the depths of their power. They were like two terrifying, bottomless pits.

"Hehe, your perception is quite sharp," Qin Xiaoxia said with a teasing tone. "So, can you tell who I am?"

As he spoke, Qin Xiaoxia's Magic Power turned into a mist that enveloped Brown and Luna. He then pulsed his power, sending a signal through his connection as a Secret Realm Weaver.

Inside the Secret Realm, Su Su immediately sensed Qin Xiaoxia's signal and activated the realm's power. Several Chains of Void burst through the portal, instantly appearing beside Brown and Luna, wrapping around them and yanking them back through.

The Eye of Void watched as powerful Magic Chains retrieved the two "little monsters" from the Magic Mirror's portal, yet it didn't dare make a single move. It didn't even dare to adjust its pupil.

It suddenly realized its terrified outburst had only invited more trouble.

"O powerful, great, and merciful one, I do not know who you are, and I will not speak of you to any other being."

"I had no intention of intruding upon your domain. My weak and humble Magic Power is of no use to you. I know nothing..."

It was now clinging to a sliver of hope, trying to grovel its way to survival.

If its Magic Mirror had merely stumbled in by accident, perhaps there would have been some room for negotiation. But it didn't dare learn any more.

In all the long ages, no one had ever truly seen the Six Great True Gods of Order. In the so-called "enlightened" worlds, everyone accepted the conceptual understanding of the Order Laws, a tradition that had persisted for countless years.

'They've hidden for so long, and I just happened to stumble upon them. If I want to live, I'll have to be ready to sell my very soul!'

As for trying to fight its way out...

The Eye of Void didn't even dare to entertain the thought.

It had never seen a True God, nor did it know the extent of their power. According to the legends of the ignorant, lesser species across the worlds, True Gods were omnipotent. If it dared to even think of escaping, or entertain any other inappropriate ideas, it might face annihilation in the very next second.

Qin Xiaoxia didn't know how to describe his current feelings.

This giant eye before him was undoubtedly the most terrifying and powerful Demon he had ever encountered. He felt that even the Flame Demon back in Saint Louis City couldn't compare.

Back in Saint Louis, he'd had the power of the world and the might of the US Army on his side against the Flame Demon—a complete home-field advantage. The current situation was the exact opposite.

But this terrifying Demon's mental state was far, far worse than the Flame Demon's.

Although Qin Xiaoxia had planned to run a bluff, the results were more exaggerated than he could have ever imagined.

From the start of the encounter until now, no matter what they did, the Demon hadn't dared to move a muscle. It hadn't even tried to re-gather its dissipated Magic Power.

Especially when he'd just tested it with that last question, curious to see what wild conclusion it would jump to about him, the wielder of the Endless Abyss.

He never expected its reaction. It was like a commoner terrified of seeing a bandit's face, fearing later retaliation.

It put on a perfect "I saw nothing, I know nothing" act.

The Red Demoness's red hair drifted as she laughed, her body swaying with amusement.

Thanks to the unique properties of her Order Magic Power, she could sense the Demon Eye's fragmented nature and its psychological terror. She was sure that with Qin Xiaoxia's ability, he had figured it out long ago as well.

This thing had been scared witless...

'So, what now?' Qin Xiaoxia couldn't help but let his mind wander to other possibilities.

His original plan was just to rescue Brown—or at least make a good show of trying. Now that he'd accomplished his goal, he was sure this giant Magical Creature wouldn't dare stop them if they left immediately.

But leaving just like that... felt like a bit of a waste!

「In the Association Secret Realm」

Su Su, controlling the Secret Realm Chain, gave it a mighty heave.

Brown, with Luna on his back, was flung out of the Magic Mirror's portal.

THUD.

Their momentum carried them into a soft cushion of vined Demonized Plants that had been prepared and waiting.

"Holy crap, a Demon came through! Mumu, quick, take it down!" Doudou shouted from behind.

Brown was not only crimson from head to toe but also absurdly muscular. Most strikingly, a pair of dark red, blood-like wings extended from his back.

Even Philier and the others didn't recognize him at first. His appearance was vastly different from his transformation in the living room of Ruby's House, and he had been moving too fast for anyone to get a clear look at him back then.

Mumu instantly formed a wall of Thorns. A dozen thorny vines, covered in barbs that glinted with a faint light, shot up from the ground and snaked toward Brown and Luna at incredible speed.

"Wait! Stop! I'm on your side!"

Brown, still dizzy, sensed the immense danger through his Perception and frantically shouted.

Su Su quickly used the Secret Realm's power to erect a Secret Realm Membrane in front of them.

THWACK! THWACK! PING! PING!

The thorny vines and their barbs slammed against the membrane, creating a cacophony of heavy thuds and sharp pings that spoke to the ferocity of the attack.

A few drops of cold sweat trickled down Brown's forehead. He had almost been killed by his own side...

By controlling the blood in his veins and channeling his remaining Magic Power back into his arm, Brown's body gradually returned to normal.

Thankfully, he was aware that he was naked and had already covered his private parts with his hands.

"Eugh..."

Su Su quickly turned her head away to continue monitoring the inside of the Magic Mirror. Some of the girls from the French Branch looked away shyly, while others stared boldly.

"Brown, you're finally out! How is Mentor?"

Philier took off his T-shirt and threw it to Brown as a temporary covering, then asked the question on everyone's mind.

Hearing this, Brown's face took on a haunted expression as he glanced back at the Magic Mirror's portal.

"The Demon inside is more terrifying than you can possibly imagine. But when it saw Master Sage and her..."

He struggled for a moment, unable to find the words to describe the Demon Eye's terror. Finally, a frustrated Brown blurted out:

"It was like it had seen the end of the world!"
