Chapter 3411: Grown Stronger
Chapter 3411: Grown Stronger
The Dragon Emperor had extraordinary reflexes and a nervous system that was biologically engineered to make his conscious perception of time exist in a different dimension by itself. And yet, expectations worked against him in this particular moment. He had expected Amare to be completely done.
More importantly, he couldn’t have fathomed that Amare would be able to use nature manipulation, something that was exclusive to elves.
This delayed his reactions, causing him to fail to react in time to Amare’s swift attack. Leaves, branches, and even wood emerged from her open wound, entering his mouth and piercing him from the inside out.
The inner lining of his mouth was not covered in invintium scales, allowing her to pierce his flesh much more easily than would have been possible on the exterior of his body. Blood splattered from several wounds within his mouth as the wood dug into his flesh, inflicting many wounds from the Dragon Emperor.
Simultaneously, Amare regrew an arm with a nature healing technique that was exclusive only to the elves, growing a new arm the way a plant germinated from the ground. Within seconds, she had restored her arm while the Dragon Emperor struggled with the growth of carnivorous flesh-eating flora tissue that surged from within her.
“Die!” Amare snarled with vengeance as she continued the flora attack, hoping to kill Lord Shenlong with the opening that she had exploited.
There was no one prouder than Rui, who watched from nearly a thousand kilometers, sitting on top of a cloud. His powerful, pitch-black eyes dilated as they peered into the distance, watching the conflict between Amare and Lord Shenlong with a deeply interested expression. “Nice, go get him, Amare!”
He cheered her on from a distance as he watched the Dragon Emperor gain on with a surprise frontal attack. Powerful winds blew past him, carrying a salty odor and the humidity of the ocean with it, even as he sat in the sky while the bright morning sky illuminated the expansive ocean that stretched for extraordinary distances in all directions.
His clothes and hair fluttered in the winds vigorously while the sound of washing waves hung in the air, along with the roars of the Dragon Emperor that spread for thousands and thousands of kilometers.
“I didn’t know she could regenerate like that,” Rui murmured. “She must have mastered that as well when I was away for three months.”
He wasn’t surprised by the fact that branches and leaves emerged from within her, of course. She had shown him much of what she had mastered in the three months that he had been in a coma in East Genora.
She had tapped into the Inner Realm of nature manipulation in the time that he had been away, allowing her to gain mastery over certain niche abilities of the elves, such as spontaneously spawning flora from within her body.
She had planted a seed in her body that allowed a symbiotic flora lifeform to germinate, which could sustain itself with her blood, providing it with remarkable abilities that were impossible otherwise.
Rui hadn’t had the time to master it, having already spent too much time in Genora. It was much further down the list of his things to do than many others. But after seeing how useful it was for her, he couldn’t help but grow a little regretful about not having mastered it when he had the chance.
“She’s grown far stronger than she used to be,” Rui realized as his eyes lit up with amazement. “To think that she could push a top ten to such an extent when before she struggled against Anthea despite having a healing fruit…”
Her rate of growth was as stunning as ever. Every living moment of her life was converted into power and mastery; it was a genius that fell into the same level of absurdity as that of Rui and Ieyasu, and it allowed her to make gains that no other Martial Artist could possibly make, not even Rui.
“But, I’m sure you noticed Amare…” His pitch-black eyes sharpened with severity as he turned towards the thrashing Dragon Emperor. “That dragon… hasn’t gotten serious yet.”
Far away in the battle, Amare’s eyes widened as the Dragon Emperor stopped struggling even as the flora continued entering his body through his mouth. His eerie reptilian eyes bore deep into her fierce eyes of amber with a chilling gaze.
“I did not think I would have to use this against a mere female.”
Amare’s eyes widened as she felt a horrifying sense of danger.
One that sent chills across her skin.
WHOOSH
She leaped away in the blink of an eye with a blinding speed as the Dragon Emperor unleashed a powerful roar that shook the world with the force of the sound it unleashed.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The blood-red gushing aura and light that emerged from him, consuming the entire world. The sky corrupted even more, turning into the same ominous, apocalyptic hue as the dragon himself. A flood of gamma radiation of cosmic proportions erupted from him, consuming all of heaven and earth, irradiating everything it touched.
RUMBLE!!!!!!!
“Nghhh…!” Amare gritted her teeth as she felt dizzy with how much radiation Lord Shenlong was unleashing.
In the blink of an eye, all the flora and organic matter within the dragon, infiltrating his wounds, died then and there. The flood of radiation was too intense for anything short of a specially designed lifeform to possibly withstand.
He chomped the flora organic matter, consuming it whole before turning towards Amare with a disgusted expression on his dragonian face. “Truly repulsive food. I will rid my mouth of this disgusting taste with your delectable blood. But before that…”
His reptilian eyes sharpened.
“Tell me how a member of the homo martialus species is able to manipulate nature.”
Amare’s expression grew serious as she clenched her fists. She hadn’t expected that he would break out of her little trap as easily as he did. His radiation proved to be much stronger than he had expected it to be, especially given the damage she had already inflicted on him.
The battle was just beginning.
