Still, she did not stop him.

They took Leo with them and teleported to the same terrace in front of their cave.

Soon, the team of spirits and wolves all gathered at the same place on the cave dwelling’s terrace.

Lupine took out his luxurious obsidian table and chairs. The spirits sat on them one by one. Xiao Hong started to brew tea.

Frostbane sat beside her, looking at her hand indifferently.

The Ghost Master Hollow also sat beside Lupine, silent as always.

This time there was one less and one additional.

The additional one was Oshan.

He initially came to fix Moon’s little perch and make the cave a little more comfortable.

But when he saw all those old and young people come out looking vastly different from his world, his eyes rolled hard.

Lupine was slightly similar to them, but Frostbane was totally different from any human he had ever seen.

The cold aura alone made Oshan shift uncomfortably on his seat, not to mention his dress and his hair made him look like not a human at all.

He sat on a stone-made seat near the fence.

Moon looked at the empty seat of RuYi, and his heart churned in pain again.

’I will soon make a soul-mending pill. I just need to level up to grandmaster.

Easy hah!

Will only need hundreds of years.’ He kept telling himself in his mind.

’It’s nothing. Easy, easy.’

Moon Goddess sighed heavily in his mind.

[You will not need so many years. Only fifty will do. The five core is useless because it’s hard to cultivate. But once you do, you will progress by leaps and bounds.]

’Really? That’s good then. Fifty, only fifty. Easy, easy.’ Moon thought.

’The fuck is easy! It’s still fifty years!’ he cried inside.

Though outside he looked perfectly indifferent.

At least Oshan and the brothers didn’t notice anything abnormal.

No one mentioned RuYi again.

As if they were very much used to this kind of missing person.

Moon’s gaze traveled around one by one. He expected any spirit, or at least Ugo, to mention him.

But they all pretended as if everyone was here. Even Axe and Nox acted like the empty seat was nothing.

Moon didn’t know why he suddenly felt disappointed and a bit sad. The pain in his chest just sat there and refused to leave.

He exhaled sharply and took out the contract scroll Frostbane had given him before.

He looked at the red wolf who was still squirming hard to get out of the spiritual binding.

The net shook every time Leo pulled.

Then Moon got closer. In his hand, a jade bottle appeared out of nowhere.

He took out one pill and sniffed it himself.

He didn’t have time to experiment, so he hesitated for a moment.

"Let me check," Bane called out from the table.

Moon gave him the pill. Bane just looked at it once and gave it back.

"It’s fine." He nodded.

Moon placed the pill in his palm and fed it to the wolf, ignoring the slick licking on his skin.

By now he was already immune to this kind of licking and saliva. The rough tongue just slid over his hand like it always did.

Soon the wolf became calm.

His gaze fell on the man in front of him, and he looked completely dazed. The earlier restlessness slowly drained out of his body.

"Did it work?" Moon asked.

"It seems it worked," Lupine said, watching with interest.

Moon took the scroll and let it float in the air.

He brought out his second drop of blood essence from his heart and let it settle on the soul contract scroll.

Soon the contract glowed with gold light.

For a beast, he didn’t need to drip blood at all. Moon could just cast a spell on his soul, and then it became a battle between their wills.

If the beast is stronger, the scroll will be destroyed and break the mage’s connection.

It can even hurt his soul severely.

If it is with consent, or the beast is at a lower level than the mage, the soul scroll itself will seal the soul.

That’s why Moon thought he could contract Leo now.

And it should be easier than Axe. Right now Leo had no human sense, and his memory would not attack so hard.

But maybe when he got back his sense, Moon would face some consequence. ℯ𝐥.

Still, he was not that worried.

He could always find a way to convince them later. After all, he was their fated mate.

Though he didn’t believe in it himself. But they believed.

That was enough for now.

But he was totally wrong about one thing.

Even though Leo had no memories, he still had a strong will. Even in his pure beast form, he did not accept the scroll immediately.

Moon’s blood essence accepted the contract, and the contract connected to Leo’s soul. It was about to seal and roll up with golden light.

But halfway, it stopped.

Moon broke out in a cold sweat.

’How can it be?’

’Does this wolf still have human sense?’ he thought hard.

The scroll wavered in mid-air.

Then it trembled hard.

Yet the dizzy red wolf was still sitting on the small stone bed on the terrace, looking at Moon like he was dreaming. His red eyes never left Moon’s face.

Moon’s brows furrowed.

’What the hell is this? Is he trapped in some kind of illusion that makes it hard to accept the contract?’ he thought again.

He forced more of his soul power into the scroll.

As soon as Moon forced more soul power, Leo suddenly groaned in pain. The big body twitched once.

The scroll rolled another small bit upward.

It’s working.

But with this forced contract, would the seal still be okay? Moon felt the pressure climbing higher on his own soul.

Moon was in a hard moment when Xiao Hong suddenly stood up from the table.

"Ayia..... what to do with these kids... You have no way without my guidance."

She came to Leo’s side and looked him up and down carefully.

"Why don’t you try to hug and kiss and beg him a little?" she said to Moon with a mischievous smile that clearly said, ’I am up to no good.’

"Huh?" Moon looked at her blankly.

He could understand most of the words, yet every single one of them sounded so forbidden.
