The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1775: Return of the Asura Race (2)

  • Next Chapter

Right after Asha and her sisters appeared, another portal opened, and Nadia, alongside two of her Puppet Generals, walked out of her puppet workshop.

Vlad walked to her left, now radiating the power of a Pseudo-Primordial, and Faye, also a Pseudo-Primordial, walked to her right. Vlad is a fallen demon who had been corrupted by the power of the abyss, while Faye is an angel.

The two had been with her since Earth and fought, nearly dying for good, during the Planet Awakening. Just like how Linx and Jinx had been with Asha since the beginning, they had also proven to be capable warriors, and so Nadia made them her guards.

The moment Nadia appeared, Asha narrowed her eyes at her.

The two were rivals over who had the strongest legion.

While Asha now has 7 Insect Queens under her command, and as such, she is expected to have the strongest legion, there is no telling what had happened inside Nadia’s puppet workshop after she had become a Supreme.

Then again, at the end of the day, they are all on the same side, so whatever the case may be, it is their enemies that should be wary of them.

After she stepped out, another portal opened, and Nari, alongside her two sisters, Ignitia (Calamity Dragon) and Aleera (Calamity Qilin), walked out.

Right behind them was the Beast Legion, now brimming with power. More of the beasts, either dead during the Star Monarch Era or merely gone into hiding, started to come out of hiding after Klaus declared his return.

Now, excluding the 14,000 beasts from Earth currently inside the Inter-dimensional Cube and the 54,000 Calamity beasts from the Jade Nest, also inside the Beast Cube (Inter-dimensional Cube), the Beast Legion that once followed Efad had assembled a quarter of their members.

The portal that opened was a bit wider, so thousands could walk out at the same time. In no time, over 100,000 beasts walked out, and after 5 minutes, 250,000 beasts had walked out, each a terror to be afraid of.

Half of them were either at the Supreme stage or already Celestials after Orion and Atomic had spent a great deal of time using the energy from the Void Vortexes to upgrade them.

The remaining half were already Gods, with some nearing the Supreme stage on their own.

This would be their first major battle after the small skirmish outside the Dead World a couple of months ago.

"Listen up," Queenie shouted, rising into the air. The power of her aura started to spread out, showing everyone that the Asura Queen was ready to battle.

"Our mission is simple. We simply have to clear this domain of all beasts. Of course, if they surrender, take them as prisoners, but if they resist, kill every last one of them."

ROARRRRRRR

Just when Queenie’s words came out, a roar came from the distance, spreading far and wide. The pressure it exerted was clearly that of a Pseudo-Primordial.

This surprisingly made some of the beasts who were already at the peak of the Celestial stage happy. They all wanted to fight it and see what had changed after all flaws had been fixed in their bodies and their bloodlines had been raised to the Celestial stage.

"Daughter-in-law, it pains me that you have such a big mission and didn’t even alert me." Suddenly, another portal opened, and Hunter walked out, followed by the five Blood Guards (Klaus’s Uncles).

Queenie blushed, not having an answer for Klaus’s father. Luckily for her, Lady Elysia was with them. "Hey, Hunter, stop distracting the ladies. We have an important mission on our hands here."

Hunter smiled and nodded at Queenie, "Continue, daughter-in-law. Just make sure you give me a good mission."

"Of course, Father-in-law."

Queenie smiled weakly and turned to look at the Beast Legion. "Ignitia, you, alongside Nari and Aleera, will lead the main charge. Your mission is to ensure the forest is clear, no matter what."

They nodded, knowing that, with their power and past-life experience, this mission was as good as done.

Queenie turned to Asha and Nadia. "I know you two still have no plans to reveal your full hand. I have no problem with that, but all I ask is that you make sure a path is carved for me, your sisters and the three Asura Keys.

Our destination is that mountain 300km away."

"Consider it done," Asha said, practically raising her shoulders.

"My Puppets are ready to fight, Big Sister," Nadia also declared.

"Good." Queenie acknowledged them, and then she turned to Hunter...

"Father, your mission is the hardest. By the time we get to the location of the gateway, I want the blood essence of 1,000 Celestial-grade Beasts and 10 Pseudo-Primordials."

The Mad Hunter grinned, knowing that when it comes to killing, he excels at that. That is one quality he shares with Klaus, aside from the shamelessness part.

He had also become more stronger after his mission in the demon universe.

"I will not fail you, daughter-in-law."

"What if there is a Primordial hiding here? Who will handle it?" Anna suddenly asked, causing everyone to turn and look at Queenie.

She just smiled and replied, "When the time comes, you will know."

Asha looked at Nadia and said, "We both should use 25% of our total force and see who will have the most kills. Icon is tracking the kills, so don’t even cheat."

Nadia shrugged. "You will lose, Asha, just like how you lost back then and started crying. I do hope this time around, you won’t cry."

Asha smirked. "Think about yourself, Nadia. This time around, we shall see who gets to have the last laugh."

Queenie just shook her head on the side and motioned for everyone to move out.

Meanwhile, seated around a table atop another mountain sipping tea were Asura, Nyrela, Burning Angel and his disciple, Lord Victor.

If one looked closely, they could tell that while the Burning Angel was still a Pseudo-Primordial, his aura was much deeper than even Matthew’s, who was currently on the Ancient Battlefield with Rhazor.

Clearly, he wasn’t far from the realm of a Primordial.

"Anything strange?" Asura asked, referring to the Burning Angel.

"Yes. There is indeed a Primordial-grade beast here, and she is staring right at us."

Asura smiled and turned to the side, staring in the direction the Burning Angel was looking at. "Why don’t you join us for tea, Your Highness?"
