CRACK

The void exploded open, and a graceful figure with deep black hair long enough that it draped below her back appeared. She has the curves and facial features, but on closer inspection, a dragon-head tattoo is visible along her neck.

Kaden even imagined her entire back and shoulders covered in the rest of the tattoo. She is clad in form-fitting leather armor that appears more futuristic than most armor in the Primus Universe.

She had no weapon in hand, but as she stepped out, petals of a dark flower billowed in the air around her. As she moved, every step she took manifested black lotuses.

Beneath each lotus, the void cracked and spiderwebbed for a few inches, only to heal as she stepped away. Aside from that, Kaden could feel a pressure rooted deep in the Dao press down hard on him, and with each step, it only increased.

This lady is none other than the Black Flame Dragon Queen, the ruler of Harmony City.

"He doesn’t look much like a Paragon to me," a second voice said, and instead of a crack, a humming reached everyone.

Kaden felt his back break into a cold sweat as the void exploded open, and from within, skulls of both humans and beasts came out, each humming a tune that immediately tried to worm its way into Kaden’s mind.

’In your dreams,’ Kaden stood unfazed, mainly because, regardless of what this man does, he can never beat the hivemind. It is just not possible.

Perhaps sensing the humming failed to overwhelm Kaden, he stepped out from the void. Kaden was taken aback by how he looked. While he looks human with nice, long silver hair, half of his face is bone. It doesn’t look like the flesh had been covered with a bone mask; rather, that part of his face is bone/skull.

He is also tall, perhaps 7’2" if measured. As for him, he had a large scythe sheathed behind him, its menacing curved blade. He is the Ancient Undead Monarch who rules over the inhabitants of Undead Garden.

Kaden said nothing, for he knew a third and fourth were yet to appear.

"Interesting, so you are the one who killed Blood Hound and Blood Savage."

This time, the smell of blood filled the place, causing Kaden to narrow his eyes. The feeling wasn’t killing intent or even the pressure of his cultivation being suppressed; it was deep and dark, rooted so well in the Dao that Kaden immediately knew which of the three he had to fear the most.

The man who appeared is handsome, with deep red eyes, an appearance not a day older than 30, and an imposing presence. He had two swords sheathed on his back and a large cloak billowing behind him. His armor is also red and fits his skin perfectly.

As he walked out, blood kept dripping down, every drop causing red death flowers to bloom on the ground.

’He is more dangerous than these two combined,’ Kaden became wary, but then the last person appeared, and he tensed.

Kaden only heard a whoosh sound of the wave, and then a figure tapped him on the shoulder... "Not so much of a Paragon if you ask me."

Kaden was tense, but then he smiled.

The next second, time came to a stop. He felt it, and so did the four Overlords of the Elemental Garden. However, none of them could do anything but watch as time slowed down, then began to reverse.

A few seconds later, Kaden moved to his left, and the Red Lotus Guardian’s hands touched nothing but air.

"WHAT"

His eyes widened, and then he turned and looked at King Xzeth, who wore a smug expression, a clock hovering behind him. "You, when did you manifest your Dao?"

"Why should I tell you? Are you the one in charge of me?" King Xzeth replied with a smirk on his face.

"Xzeth, you will tell me, or don’t say I didn’t warn you," the Red Lotus Guardian commanded, his eyes narrowing.

Kaden stepped into his line of sight and said, "I wouldn’t try to intimidate him if I were you. If he wants you dead, trust me, it won’t take 5 minutes."

Kaden’s words caused many to frown. The four overlords frowned even more... clearly pissed and both curious about how someone they didn’t even consider to be at their level had such a major breakthrough.

"Step aside, Paragon. You may be a big shot in that small universe of yours, but in here, you hold no authority," the Red Lotus Guardian said, manifesting his Dao. It was a large trident, instantly causing a large sea to appear behind him.

The power of his Dao crashed hard on Kaden instantly, causing his face to turn pale.

"Idir, you will do well not to intimidate my friend, or don’t say I didn’t tell you," King Xzeth threatened, his expression turning cold.

"Relax, King Xzeth. As long as he doesn’t use his cultivation, his Dao cannot do anything to me," Kaden said and straightened his back. Then, as if to prove his words, he activated his Dao, and a 15-meter-tall manifestation appeared behind him.

The figure had a mask on, but the Red Lotus Guardian felt like he could see his face, and that instant shook his resolve, causing the trident to tremble and turn into mist.

COUGH

He coughed up blood from the backlash, instantly becoming scared of Kaden.

"Sorry about that," Kaden apologised, then he added, "At the moment, I am the weakest here in terms of cultivation base. I mean, I am only a Universe God. However, when it comes to the Dao, I can boldly declare myself as the strongest.

"Now, I know most of you will have your doubts and would want to test me. You are welcome to try, but don’t say I didn’t warn you. A Dao backlash can be unforgiving."

Standing beside Saint, King Arshan trembled, his expression turning pale as he looked at Kaden, who stood fearlessly before the four overlords.

Saint noticed his expression and held on to his hand.

The Paragon they knew and remembered is fearless. The one they are staring at is also fearless but also terrifying...
