The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse
Chapter 1763: Half Elf Half Qilin
"Oh, this is wild." Love laughed, her expression showing that she was happy. "So you are saying Tasha was once your lover, but she was also your stepsister. Aside from that, she is very important to you."
Klaus nodded.
"I see. Then how important is she to you, and what happened to her in her past life?"
"I cannot tell you what happened to her since that involves Karma you are not ready to carry. However, she is indeed very important to me in the sense that without her, I cannot become a god, or at least one of my incarnations cannot become a god, and if that happens, I will never rise to become who I was meant to be, resulting in so many things that can even lead to the destruction of this universe."
"Wow, Tasha is that important. Now I am jealous of her." Love laughed, her expression filled with love, joy and happiness.
She was happy for her friend and sister, and Klaus could feel it.
This made him smile, knowing Love was indeed a good person who nearly died simply because the god of the world she was born in decided to use her planet as a breeding ground for her insect army.
Had it not been for Klaus passing by and hearing Gorr’s painful cries, she would have died, and for what? Because of some god’s hunger for power.
’Maybe I should find that god if she has reincarnated and kill her again,’ Klaus said, a mysterious smile appearing on his face.
"Uncle, since you can’t tell me what happened to Tasha in her past life, can you then tell me more about what she was like? I would like to know."
"Sure. Tasha was a happy child. My father is an Elf, and yes, he is still alive, that bastard. He married my mother, an Elven Priestess, and together they gave birth to me. But aside from my mother, he married other women from other races. One of those women was a Qilin Princess.
"You have to understand that my father, while not the current Emperor of the Elven Race, was a powerhouse, and he still is, hopefully. On top of that, he was one handsome bastard, so he was able to pull all the beautiful ones.
"Tasha was his second-born, among three others. When she was born, she was unique in her own way. Unlike her three siblings, who took after their father, she inherited both her mother’s and her father’s bloodlines.
"She was a hybrid, a half-Elf and a half-Qilin. Because of her unique nature and strong bloodline, she got all the attention from our father. This caused hate and resentment from her siblings and even those from her stepmother.
"Long story short, after years of resentment, when my father left for battle, her siblings banished her to the Forest of Anarchy to die, knowing even with her talent, she wouldn’t be able to survive there.
"What they didn’t know was that the Forest of Anarchy was my domain back then. I was banished there when I was 10, and by the time I turned 24, I had become the Overlord of that place.
"I rescued her, and she joined my Beast Legion. Since she is half-Qilin, she fit right in. Along the way, we fell in love... That is all I can say."
"Hmm, I didn’t know Tasha had it that bad growing up." Love turned, looked in the direction Tasha had gone, and sighed. "Good thing we have each other now."
"That is indeed true, and hopefully, once she regains her true nature, she will be even happier."
"I understand, Uncle. I now know why she cannot become an Asura. She has a much bigger destiny than anyone can imagine."
Klaus nodded, knowing Tasha really does have a much bigger destiny.
"Who knows, maybe one day, when all is said and done, I can make her an Asura, allowing her to possess three bloodlines."
"A tribrid, huh? That would surely be badass." Love smiled and closed her eyes, allowing her heart to calm down before turning to Klaus.
"How is Father? The last time we spoke, he told me he might go away for a while."
"Looks like you haven’t seen the videos yet. Gorr is now on the Ancient Battlefield with one of my incarnations and some friends. Their first battle, which shook the entire Ancient Battlefield, happened just a couple of days ago."
"Oh, I am sure Father is happy then." Love smirked, knowing that aside from her, Gorr’s joy comes from killing. She didn’t hate him for that since she understood where his obsession came from.
They laughed, and after a couple more minutes, Tasha called them for dinner.
They ate and caught up even more.
Klaus didn’t know Tasha had already overheard their conversation. She is that sensitive, maybe because of her Elf side. Even when one goes out of their way to conceal themselves, she would be able to hear without much stress.
So she knew who she was to Klaus in her past life and why he had come. For now, she wanted them to think she had no idea.
So she kept her usual quiet persona and ate with them. Love, of course, talks a lot, and so after dinner, she continued to ask questions, mostly about Klaus’s past lives that her father had told her about.
They spoke for hours until, at 4 a.m., she left to sleep. Klaus finally had the time to breathe, but he made sure Gorr would pay for revealing his secrets to a third party. ℯℯ𝘭.
While Love is someone he could trust, she is also vulnerable, so revealing that much puts her in danger. Even if no one knows she has that many secrets hidden in her mind, the Heavenly Dao does, and it can arrange accidents for her.
Luckily, she is a Heaven’s Reject, so it couldn’t do anything to her.
But still, Rhazor will arrange an accident for Gorr as punishment for running his mouth.
After Love went to bed, Klaus walked outside and sat on the roof, watching the stars.
A few minutes later, Tasha appeared and sat down. "Tell me what happened to me in my past life."
