Chapter 1504 1504: The Jade Queen
Chapter 1504 1504: The Jade Queen
While the Heavens Court had been thrown into a state of chaos and panic, Klaus and the others finally arrived on Blue Jade Planet.
The planet is very huge and, most importantly, very beautiful. From the buildings to the rivers and forests, one can tell that a great deal of time and energy has been put into cultivating this planet to where it is now.
The spiritual qi in the air is thick, and most shocking of all, Klaus could sense other forms of energy there. The moment they entered the atmosphere, his unknown energy sensed four distinct types of energy and began to absorb and refine them.
If he stays on this planet for at least a month, the unknown energy might finally reach 100% completion.
But while the planet is very beautiful, what caught his attention was the security. With dear Icon aiding him to distinguish between them, he was able to spot thousands of SSS-Class weapons and several gods and supremes hidden in strategic positions.
He also sensed some Celestials hidden in the void. Clearly, the planet housing the Queen of the Milky Way Galaxy is very secure. Even if a dozen Celestials were to attack, Klaus doubts they would succeed.
Even from the outside, just before they entered the planet's surface, he sensed all kinds of terrible weapons and formations deployed, ready to be unleashed.
As they moved toward their destination, Klaus used his senses to scan the area, and what he saw shocked him.
'Half of the buildings here can withstand a full-on attack from a Universal God,' muttering to himself, he let this discovery wash over him.
He would one day turn Earth into a very powerful planet, the kind that even an army of Celestials wouldn't be able to breach its defenses.
Soon, they landed, and everyone alighted.
Standing in rows, paving the way for everyone to pass, are hundreds of gods ranging from True to Universal God. Klaus didn't seem shocked, not when he had already sensed supreme and celestial guards hidden inside the void.
The same cannot be said for Rory and the others. This is their first time seeing this many gods in the same place.
'As expected of the Queen of an Entire Galaxy,' Klaus said inwardly as they moved toward a large door that led into a mansion.
Along the way, he could sense the scrutinizing gaze of the gods. He knew they wanted to see just how strong he is. However, because Lord Emerald was with them, they could only look and determine based on what they saw.
Unfortunately for them, Klaus is not someone who can be read easily.
With many trying but failing, they soon arrived before the door, and with a quick step, they entered.
The moment they entered, Klaus felt isolated when a gaze landed on him.
'Shit, a Celestial King,' Klaus cursed inwardly, his body trembling slightly. Soon, he felt the gaze travel down his body, scanning every inch of it.
Perhaps sensing that if things continued, his secrets would be exposed, he resorted to using one of his trump cards.
He let a weak smile appear at the corner of his lips.
"I was told by many that my good looks would one day put me in danger, but I always shrugged them off. Who would have thought they were right?"
As he spoke, his gaze snapped toward the Jade Queen, who blinked one or two times, clearly not expecting Klaus's words to take a shameless tone.
Lord Victor and Rory turned and looked at Klaus in shock. They didn't expect him to be this bold and plainly shameless before a Celestial who also happens to be the Queen of the entire galaxy.
As for Lord Emerald and the others, they all moved to the left, clearly expecting something to happen. As they distanced themselves, only Klaus, Lord Victor, Rory, and the three warriors who went to the Jade Nest remained.
'At least she stopped scanning me. Now, I must make sure she doesn't take any offense,'
Just when he was planning what to say next, the Jade Queen spoke.
"So young, yet very powerful. Tell me, Renegade Hunter, are you willing to become my disciple in name,"
Klaus paused in his steps, and so did the others. None of them moved, not when the question asked hadn't been digested yet,
'Clearly, I heard that wrong,' the veiled lady walking beside Princess Evren said inwardly, her expression behind her veil narrowing toward Klaus.
Even Princess Evren never expected her mother to ask such a question.
However, since she did, she could only wait for Klaus's answer. What he would say next would determine the course of action.
Klaus paused for a moment, then he smiled and answered.
"I am afraid I would have to decline your offer," Klaus replied without his tone breaking.
Hearing this, everyone except the Jade Queen widened their eyes.
"Why don't you want to become my disciple? While I may not be the strongest Celestial out there, within this galaxy, I have the highest authority. Becoming my disciple in name would be akin to becoming my true disciple. This would allow you to hold so much influence in this galaxy and in this universe."
Klaus smiled and nodded.
"It is indeed true that I would benefit from becoming your disciple in name. However, I can't, even if I want to. The reason is simple: in the Zorvian Family, we don't take masters.
Whenever you are sent out, you are expected to grow on your own, without a master paving the way for you. I can choose to become your disciple, but while I might survive, I am not sure you would, not when my family is known for being unreasonable."
Klaus smirked... "I am not saying you are weak and that my family can easily handle you. In fact, if they dare come, from what I have observed so far, not all of them will be going back alive," Klaus paused, and an evil smile appeared on his face.
"On a second thought, maybe I should become your disciple so we can kill some of them. How dare they abandon me temporarily just because I revealed my identity to save my life,"
Seated on the throne, silver hair falling down her back, the Jade Queen's blue eyes scanned Klaus for a moment, and then a smile formed on her face.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves. That said, if I cannot become your master, why did you allow the Burning Angel to become one,"
"Oh, that. He is not my master. His disciple is actually Lord Victor here."
Everyone's eyes widened as realization suddenly dawned on them.
"Wait a minute, if you are not his disciple, then why did he announce to the entire universe that he is your master?"
"Isn't it plainly obvious, that old monster is always looking for a fight, but also wants to protect me? As the only person who had managed to destroy his [Beast God Dominion] formation, he took an interest in me and wanted me to help him improve it.
"I declined the offer, but after begging me for 7 hours, I reluctantly accepted." Klaus grinned and turned his head to the right, an evil smile forming on his face.
"Isn't that right, Big Brother?"
Nobody said anything, not even the Jade Queen. Naturally, she wondered what Klaus meant when he turned and said those words.
A few seconds later, however, her brow knitted, and a wave of shock filled her face when the space Klaus turned to suddenly turned red. From the red flame portal, a handsome angel walked out with graceful steps, and a smirk formed on his face.
