Chapter 1389: The Mysterious Renegade Hunter

Aside from his age, one thing many wanted to know was where Klaus came from and which family he was from. There is just no way someone as monstrous as him would not have a powerful background.

Of course, from the video of his battle with Blood Shadow, he claimed he came from no affluent background.

However, from what he had just revealed, he indeed was from a powerful family, but he had no plan to reveal it.

Of course, he has the background to back his claims.

First, there are his Uncle Monks, who, from what Queenie told him, are all-powerful gods and maybe even Supremes. He has yet to learn more, but he is thrilled to learn they are alive.

The second is the Asura Race. Learning they are still alive gave him all the satisfaction he needed. Even though they are not with him yet, the mere fact that they are alive means one day they will return to the universe.

When the day comes, even Heaven’s Court will become scared.

She ended her question with a giggle, a clear indication she knew what she was doing. From the start to this moment, all her questions were engineered to arrive at this moment.

Klaus had 500 minds, but he never saw it coming.

He stared long and hard at Lady Ivy, knowing full well that if he returned to his petty self, people would genuinely hate him. He had just proven to be the bigger person after agreeing to team up with Rouni.

However, many years ago, he was one of the Four Ancestor Monks who took Fruity in and tried to make him a monk. Safe to say they failed, but managed to make him into a fine warrior.

Now, he had become a Supreme. In fact, he is one of the Elven Supremes.

A few days ago, he received word from a reliable source that Fruity (Klaus) is back and has started causing trouble.

He was not surprised by that. He knew the kind of person Klaus is, so he had been keeping an eye on him. Just now, hearing him claim his uncles will come to his aid if anyone dares to play dirty cracked him up.

But hearing how shameless he is, he could not help but wish he were standing beside him so he could give him a good knock.

Monks are not supposed to be this shameless.
