Chapter 1340 1340: Finally Immortal

The moment the tribulation ended, Klaus's natural evolution, which happens whenever he breaks through to the next stage, began. A cocoon appears around his body just like always.

Klaus looked at the lollipop in her hand, and the only thought that came to mind was how long it would take her to consume it all, considering it is half the size of her body.

However, he said nothing and merely asked the question bothering him. "Icon, why am I not evolving like before?"

[What is the master talking about? The Master and Lady Maud have already entered the evolution phase. All the Master and Lady Maud have to do is submerge their bodies in the Divine Star Immortal Essence.]

Icon pointed toward the east, where a small pool designed to fit one person could be seen. It has reddish-gold water, and it emits faint star Qi.

"I only cover my body because I want to. I didn't do it because I had to. Also, you are Lord Klaus. Everything about me is yours to have, so there is nothing to worry about here."

"Are you sure?" Klaus asked.

"I am positive. However, it would be in your best interest not to over-touch anything you see. We may be entering the same pool, and our bodies will be sandwich together, but that doesn't mean you have my permission to touch me."

"No need to be a pervert, Maud. I am a gentleman who treats the woman's body like a treasure. What makes you think I would violate yours?"

Maud glared at Klaus for a few seconds, then she smirked. "As if I don't know you. Just don't go overboard."

Klaus laughed. "Rest assured, Maud, I will be a gentleman. Of course, I might not even be interested in what I see, so you can stop having wild thoughts."

Maud said nothing. However, Klaus could tell she was mentally preparing herself. "Thank you, Icon. You can go back and enjoy your lollipop."

"Okay, Master." The Icon vanished. Once she was gone, Klaus unsummoned his armor, leaving only his pants, which held his big bulge in place.

Maud was mentally preparing herself for what she was about to see when Klaus pulled down his pants too, revealing his soft, big-ass dick.

Maud gulped and turned away, clearly embarrassed.

"Oh, don't be a big baby, Maud. It is not like this is your first time seeing me naked."

"Yeah, but this is different."

"How different?"

"I will also be getting naked. I mean, isn't that too stimulating?"

Klaus laughed. "First of all, you warn me not to touch, and second, who said anything about stimulating? You are Maud, my Death's Heart. If anything, you should be happy you will be spending some skin-to-skin time with me."

"I have hands. I can remove my own clothes." She walked back and turned around, facing Klaus with her back.

"Suit yourself," Klaus smiled, and started watching as she slowly undressed.
