The book of record reached the hand that held a high authority as the Heavenly God themselves. The hand belonged to the Demonic Cult’s strategist, Nian Gu, an old man who served the current Heavenly God and the previous Heavenly God.

Nian looked at the record book, checking the content and finding out that it was the latest record of the Demonic Cult’s population. It didn’t concern him that the record was being exposed, he was more curious about the reason behind how it happened.

"Princess Anastasha Asghar said that the government gave her the book willingly," the man informed.

"Willingly? There’s no such a thing as willingly when it comes to the government official. Something must have happened before she got this book," Nian shook his head and put the book down. "And you said that she wanted to speak with the Heavenly God personally to make a deal with the Demonic Cult? That sly snake made a deal with the government for this book and now she wanted to make a deal with us as well," he continued, knowing how Anastasha played her strategy.

"Should I send her off?" The man asked.

"You think my words are higher than the Heavenly God? My decision isn’t the same as the Heavenly God," Nian spoke as he stared at the man coldly. "Bring the elders that are currently here, tell them to gather in the palace’s hall. I’ll convey Princess Anastasha’s message to the Heavenly God," he continued as he stood up and grabbed the book.

Nian entered the Heavenly God’s chamber, a room that felt more like a throne room than a chamber, an atmosphere that he could never overcome because of how heavy and intense it was that he could barely breath. He slowly knelt, his eyes glued to the carpet beneath him.

"My Lord, we have a guest that requested an audience. She’s Princess Anastasha Asghar, and she came with this," Nian spoke as he held the record book with both hands, offering to the man that was sitting on the throne.

There was only silence for a few seconds before Nian could hear the creaking sound from the throne.

"Bring her to me," A gentle voice of a man, too young for an old man and too old for a young man. His voice was quiet, and yet it echoed throughout the chamber.

Nian was surprised that the Heavenly God didn’t even need to look at the record book or even question the reason behind Anastasha’s desire to meet him. However, Nian didn’t question Heavenly God’s decision and immediately bowed with understanding.

"I told you to speak if you have something on your mind, Strategist Gu," The Heavenly God spoke. "Speak," he ordered.

"Is there a particular reason for My Lord to let someone as insiginficant as her to see you?" Nian asked.

"Insignificant? Do you have no idea what kind of goal our ancestors have been trying to achieve?" The Heavenly Demon asked.

Nian furrowed his brows, his eyes searching through the carpet as if the answer was hidden beneath the carpet. The goal that the previous Heavenly God had been trying to achieve, and for someone who had served two Heavenly Gods, there were too many goals to count.

"My apology for not knowing the answer that My Lord wish to hear," Nian lowered his head even more that it almost touched the carpet.

"Do you know the bloodlines that are running through my veins?" The Heavenly God asked.

Nian’s eyes widened when the Heavenly God gave him the clue, and he knew the answer because it was something that the Demonic Cult had worshiped. The blood that ran through Heavenly God’s veins was the blood of two Evil Gods. During the fifth generation, the Heavenly God produced heirs, eliminating them until they had superior blood, then they married to the child that the two Evil Gods produced by using their essences. Once the child of the two Evil Gods gave birth to the heir, the child disappeared and went back to the two Evil Gods’ existences. Since then, all the children of the Heavenly God had to compete, and the one who awakened all three bloodlines had the right to sit on the throne.

"Yes, My Lord. You are blessed with the blood of the previous Heavenly God and the two Evil Gods," Nian bowed.

"If you knew, then you should knew that we have been looking for the third Evil God’s existence. The Serpent," Heavenly God pointed out.

Nian’s eyes widened, cold sweat began to appear on the back of his neck and his forehead.

"My Lord?! Does that mean?!" Nian spoke with his trembling voice.

"Yes, Princess Anastasha Asghar has the blood of the third Evil God in her," Heavenly God confirmed. "I have confirmed it when she made a scene at the gate of Xin perfecture," he added.

The joy in Nian’s eyes couldn’t be hidden, tears began to glimmer in his eyes. The dream of their ancestor to have three Evil Gods’ power run through the Heavenly God’s veins was right in front of his eyes.

"Is there anything else you want to say, Strategist Gu?" Heavenly God asked.

Nian snapped back to reality and slowly shook his head.

"No, My Lord. I will immediately bring her to your side," Nian spoke as he slowly stood up and left the chamber in a hurry.

When Anastasha received the response from Heavenly God, she found it a bit suspicious, even though it was what she wanted. She knew that her request would be absurd, and she knew the Demonic Cult wasn’t that foolish to believe what she said. She realized that there was something that they were interested in her or her family.

"You look a bit troubled," Serena tilted her head and stared at Anastasha.

"Do I? Maybe because I realized there was something that I failed to assess," Anastasha spoke as she looked out the window of her carriage that was on its way to the capital city of the Demonic Cult. "Somehow I feel like I’m walking right into their palm," she muttered.

Anastasha clutched onto her hand fan tightly, and when she glanced at Rasmus, he stared back at her with his impassive expression. She shook her head and then took a deep breath, trying to calm her mind and continued to look out the window.

When they arrived at the palace, Anastasha walked out of the carriage on her own. She looked at the palace and it reminded her of the castle where her mother lived in seclusion. It had the same atmosphere, the same tension, and the same feeling of dread. She then looked at Nian, who was waiting for her arrival along with the elders of the Demonic Cult.

"You stated that you would meet with the Heavenly God on your own. You could say goodbye to those people in the carriage for now, Princess Anastasha Asghar," Nian spoke as he pointed at the carriage.

Anastasha couldn’t read Nian’s expression, and the longer she stood there, the more she felt uncertain about this. She slowly looked over her shoulder, seeing how Rasmus didn’t even bother to look at her again and indulged himself in the book in his hand. The only one who looked at her was Nie, while Aris, Rullein, and Serena stayed still and just looked at the palace.

"Lead the way," Anastasha spoke with a calm and relaxed voice as she looked forward at Nian.

Nian pointed his hand toward the palace’s entrance as he watched the carriage leave. Anastasha took a deep breath and began to walk into the palace with her head held high.

At the same time, inside the carriage. Rasmus closed the book in his hand and looked at Rullein.

"Keep her safe at all cost," Rasmus spoke with a serious expression.

Rullein nodded and slowly her body turned into black smoke and disappeared into thin air. Serena raised her brows when Rasmus ordered something like that because it was rare for him to make such a measure.

"So you didn’t dismiss her concern at all," Serena smiled softly at Rasmus.

"Have I ever dismissed your or everyone’s concern?" Rasmus asked back.

Serena chuckled softly and nodded with understanding.

"Then let’s make sure nothing bad happen to her," Serena said as she leaned back and stared at the palace that grew further and further away. "Just say a word, Rasmus. I can cleanse this whole place with my power," she spoke with a serious expression.

Rasus nodded as he opened the book and continued his reading once again.
