Aris and Serena stood in front of the carriage that the Sien family had provided for them. They had been helping the Sien family from the assassins that had been trying to kill them. Aris kept getting the Order of Silence assassin group every time she interrogated those assassins that she captured. However, after multiple failed attempts, the Order of Silence had stopped their attempt while the Sien family used that opportunity to escape to the capital city under the government’s protection which the Imperial family ordered.

"Do you really have to leave, Saint?" Lina looked up at Serena with a frown on her face.

"Yes, we have to go because our husband is calling for us," Serena smiled and caressed Lina’s hair. "Well, it’s Aris that misses her husband so much that she has been wanting to leave. She wants to have some fun with our husband," she whispered into Lina’s ear even though she knew Aris could hear it with her sensitive hearing.

Lina’s face turned dark red, feeling the second-hand embarrassment. She couldn’t help but steal a glance at Aris, she didn’t think that Aris would have that kind of desire. She was too innocent to this world that Aris knew how much Serena loved to tease that little human.

"Please do not listen to her," Aris spoke as she shook her head.

"Saint Serena and Lady Aris..." An old man walked toward Aris and Serena with her wife. He was the family head of the Sien family, the most powerful merchant in the whole Khan Empire, and his name was Feng. "We don’t know how to repay your kindness and for your help. Without the two of you, our family wouldn’t be able to survive, and we wouldn’t be standing here right now," he said as he slowly went down to his knees.

It surprised Serena and Aris when they saw Feng knelt in front of them and then was followed by his wife and his big family, along with all the workers who worked for the Siyen family. Lina hurriedly ran and knelt behind her parents, lowering her head.

"Even though you already heard about us, you still kneel?" Serena asked with her brows raised.

Serena and Aris had already heard about Neesa’s declaration of making Rasmus and Anastasha as the enemy of the Khan Empire. He also knew about what had happened to the Heavenly Alliance since the news had spread across the empire. Aris also knew that Feng also knew, after all the Siyen’s family intelligence was top-notch. Feng recevied the news, and knew that Serena and Aris were Rasmus’ husband, roles that they had chosen to keep playing, which made them an enemy.

Lina lifted her head and looked at Serena and Aris, the warmth in their eyes had gone, disappeared. She then looked at her parents and everyone behind her, wondering if anyone would inform her about what was actually happening.

"Yes, we are aware, Saint Serena. However, it doesn’t change the fact that you saved us, you saved our precious daughter, and the fact that you wanted nothing from us even after everything you have done for us," Feng answered as he kept his head lowered. "We are subjects of the empire, and we obey the empire’s decision. However, I’m also a father, a man, a person with the freedom to choose, and I choose honor," he continued.

"And you still want to repay us?" Serena asked with her head tilted to the left.

"Yes, without hesitation," Feng nodded, knowing that his words would endanger his family because his words counted as an act of treason to the empire, which could lead to execution.

"Then I want you to repay it now," Serena said as he looked down at Feng.

"Please, grant me your wish, Saint Serena," Feng nodded with understanding as he prepared to accept the consequences of his actions.

"Help the Heavenly Alliance," Serena said with a serious expression.

Feng was so confused that he lifted his head and looked at Serena with his brows furrowed. He didn’t expect that at all, and it was an absurd request as well, because it had nothing to do with Serena in any way.

"The Heavenly Alliance? For what reason if I may I ask?" Feng asked.

"The reason is simple, it’s because both of you have suffered due to the Demonic Cult’s scheme. Of course, it also because I’m aware that you’re ready to accept the consequences for helping us. Why would you endanger your family when you barely managed to survive? We aren’t that evil, you know?" Serena smiled gently at Feng. "Instead of helping us, you should help each other. Isn’t it a perfect opportunity for your family to have a tight bond with the Heavenly Alliance? Instead of gaining one ally and make a new one because you want to help us, why don’t gaining one ally and gain another? Of course, if you wish for our help, we will come for you again," she continued.

Feng felt like he didn’t deserve such kindness where it wasn’t transactional or loyalty. He had been the one who gave others for nothing, but he had forgotten when was the last time he received generosity from others. He never questioned Serena’s status as Saint, but in this moment, he solidified his belief that Serena wasn’t like any other.

"I will do as you say, Saint Serena. Thank you," Feng lowered his head once again.

"You’re very welcome," Serena chuckled softly as she nodded and smiled at Feng and everyone in front of her.

Everyone couldn’t help but admire her, and they wanted to idolize her and give her a proper title, something that befit her personality and her beauty. At that moment, Feng came up with a title for her and for Aris.

"I will spread your existence throughout the whole empire, Saint Serena and Lady Aris. People will speak highly of you, about the Benevolent Duo," Feng said as he looked up at Serena and Aris. "Even if the empire chose to treat you as a threat, my honor as a man would never lie about your generosity," he continued.

"Do as you wish, Patriarch Feng. However, try not to cause trouble for yourself of your family," Serena nodded with understanding. "Well then, we really have to go. Please take care, everyone," she gave them a martial salutation, and she could see that Aris also gave them the salutation.

With that being said, Aris and Serena got into the carriage and left.

A few days had passed, Rasmus, Rullein, Anastasha, Nie, and Aris’ clone were camping at the base of the mountain. They were sitting at the campfire, watching as the stars moved slowly in the vast sky when they heard a carriage coming from the distance.

Rasmus, Anastasha, and Rullein immediately got up and stared at the carriage in the distance. Nie looked at the carriage, wondering who was coming for them and thinking that it might be some group of martial artists that had been tracking them down. However, when the carriage stopped in front of them, her eyes widened when they saw a woman, identical to Aris. When she looked over her shoulder to see Aris’ clone, she was petrified that Aris had disappeared without a trace.

"Welcome back," Rasmus said as he looked at Aris and Serena.

"Hmm..." Serena smiled as she approached Rasmus and stood in front of him. "I never thought I would miss you, Rasmus," she chuckled.

"I could say the same to you," Rasmus said with a straight face.

"Could? That’s the best compliment you can say to me? You know, Aris misses you so much. So, if you said the same to her, you might hurt her feelings," Serena whispered, teasing him like she was teasing Lina.

This time, Aris didn’t make any expression nor trying to deny the accusation. When her eyes met with Rasmus’ for a few seconds, she slowly averted her gaze and stared at Nie instead. She lazily raised her brows when she noticed that Nie wasn’t actually a woman but a man with a woman’s appearance.

"Weird, right?" Rullein spoke as she stood beside Aris. "I found it bizarre too," she pointed out as she stared at Nie.

Rasmus looked at the mountain ahead of him, thinking about what kind of things he would encounter. Anastasha suddenly approached him and stood beside him, staring at the same mountain as him.

"The moment we cross that mountain, we will entering the Demonic Cult territory," Anastasha muttered as she took a deep breath. "This time, let me handle this," she looked at Rasmus.

"Do as you wish," Rasmus nodded with understanding. "Well then," he paused as he turned around and looked at Aris, Rullein, and Serena. "Ready to go?" He asked.

"We are your wives, of course we would follow you anywhere," Serena teased Rasmus again with a playful smile.

"He’s not a child, Serena. Stop using that new habit you have around Lina," Aris sighed.

"Can’t help it," Serena chuckled. "But yes, we are ready. Lead the way," she looked at Rasmus and nodded.
