Chapter 311 - Fallen For Her!
Days passed, and the result came out.
As expected, Javier had failed and was asked to return one year. Not only that, this time, both Javier and Ryan were placed in the same classes, which was of no one else but Jennifer and Hannah.
The first day of the second year began off. Jennifer entered the class while waving off her hand in the direction of the other girls as well, "Hey! How have you been?!"
"We have been good, Ms. Topper. God, you should tell us, Jennifer, how are you able to top each and every exam that is being held?" one of the girls asked to which Jennifer answered with a slight giggle. By the next moment, Hannah had pulled her to the front seat where she made her sit while keeping her things out there.
"What are you even doing Hanah?" Jenifer whispered on seeing Hannah in such a rush. She didn't reply back immediately until she felt satisfaction, "Nothing. You know, new class and everything. I just wish to get the front seats. As the bad boys are preferred seating at the back."
Hearing this, Jennifer's eyes narrowed slightly. Staring at Hannah as if she caught the cat out of the bag, she asked in the most dreadful voice, "Did he ask you to sit in the front?"
"Jen…" Hannah can't help but show her sorry face but Jennifer does not need any more excuses from her side. The expressions of her best friends were enough for her to know who was behind her actions.
A tired sight escaped her lips when she realized that it was none else but that bastard boyfriend of hers, who was always dominating her. Why?! Why not sit behind?!
'Obviously because of his protection. He must have emotionally blocked her..' at this point, Jennifer had to put herself in mind to not roll her eyes anymore.
While they were in the middle of the discussion and their full fun talk, two people came to the entrance of the class. Jennifer wasn't willing to look at the two but subconsciously, her eyes traveled when the class automatically went on silent mode.
Averting her large brown eyes, she came across two men there, a man who seemed familiar to her and someone else, whose entire faces were covered.
Not only that, he wore a mask and his black hoodie, over the hoodie's cap on the head. 'Who wears a hood like this?' she deeply wondered.
While she was looking at the two of them, just like others, Hannah tore her gaze away from them but stood closest to her, "Isn't the boy..who used to be really famous among the girls?"
"Hmm? Girls? He looks nerdy. See those things he is wearing. They aren't of his style as well.." Jennifer muttered enough for Hannah to hear but she didn't agree to Jennifer's words either. They both stood there while surveying the two boys who made their way inside the class.
Each of the student's eyes was stagnant at the newly placed students, so were they old or someone new? ' have seen this man..but how is the other one?' her eyebrows raised but the other man never bait any eye to anyone out there present.
He simply walked with his attitude, in the back of the classroom without caring about the invading eyes on him. He took the last seat present in the entire room, while the others were still not used to his aura and deep presence.
"This man..looks really odd. Who knows from where has he arrived." Jennifer said to Hannah to which Hannah can't help but agree. However, she did not mind, these two are really those bad boys. 'I will need to stay away from these kinds of people..'
Getting associate with them would be her last wish, for sure, after all, she isn't interested to get herself be tagged with the worst group. Yet, the faith was never on her side as well...since among the bad boys she considered, one had already caught the sight of hers.
If only Jennifer had any idea that one of these bad boys will end up being her husband in the next few years...
…
As time progressed, Jennifer moved out of the dorms to take one of the apartments on campus. She and her few more friends were in her favor which helped her to do so.
Since it was Friday, she was busy doing her own work. All her friends had already left her and the entire responsibility was on her shoulders to make something for herself.
However, she failed miserably at the task, as the entire noodles which she had ought to cook, had turned nothing into ash, burning black ash.
Jenifer rested her face on her own knees while she sat on the ground beneath her. Her eyes were filled with tears when she realized that today, she had a tiny stomach.
But unknown to her, there was a man who saw her disaster cooking skills' impact as well.
Javier was standing on his dorm's balcony when he saw the smoke coming out of her kitchen window. A frown and worried look plastered on his forehead when he turned his face in Ryan's direction who was behind him, inside the room, resting on his bed, "Ryan!"
"What happened now...?" Ryan was currently in the midst of chatting with his friend when he looked at the worried and stressed Javier, "What now?'
"Come here!" At Javier's call, he stood on his toes to walk in the balcony and stared at the smoke coming out of the kitchen, "Why are you seeing her kitchen?"
"Why did the smoke come out?! Anything to worry…" He can't help but ask. Javier's clear-cut voice showed how afraid he was. Did a fire occur at her place? Was she in some kind of problem?
Otherwise, why will the smoke come out of nowhere?
At this thought, he was ready to call the ambulance as well as the fire brigade. His hard eyes and frown made Ryan slap his own forehead, noting how Javier seemed worried and his heart raced at such a rapid pace, why!? Because of this smoke!?
"She must be cooking and failing. This smoke is from the kitchen so..obviously, she failed at cooking!" hearing this, Javier's lips sealed and closed but his eyes twisted.
A malicious glint passed but that faded with time too. As relaxation struck him, he understood the entire situation wasn't as graceful as it appeared to be.
"So..she failed to cook. Hmm.."
Ryan noted how Javier's eyebrows came back at their pace as the wordings made him relax.
In the end, if this was more dangerous, he can't imagine how this stubborn man would have reacted to the same.
"Chill.. she isn't in any kind of difficulty so be relaxed... Let us go back to sleep.." Ryan answered before putting Javier's shoulders firmly, signaling him to come back inside the room.
Ryan came out of the balcony, leaving Javier alone in the balcony before he put the blanket over his body and started to sleep.
Yet sleep was hard for Javier when his mind had something else to consider, another thing to cook inside.
Instead of going back to his own bed, he moved to the mini kitchen provided to them.
Taking the ingredients in his hand, he needs to make something for her, at least enough to fill her stomach tonight.
He never mind her reaction to this but he filled the food in one box and wrapped it in a better way.
Not only that, he took a pen from the side of his bed and a wrapper. Writing a note over it, he attached the same paper to the box and walked out of his room.
Making his way to the apartment, he was thankful that there was no watch guard or someone else present, otherwise, he would have to make some or other excuse in front of him.
Walking in the direction of her apartment, he arrived in front of the door of hers.
Biting His powerful lips, he kept the box on the ground before he took a few steps back.
Knowing that this was the best way, he touched the bell before ringing it. When he pressed the ring button, he ran behind one of the walls to not come in contact with her at all.
His heart was beating at its rate, in the hope to see her reaction once she comes and see what is present in the box.
He waited for her to arrive. The moment he saw the door open and her picking up the box, before she shut the door behind her, his heartfelt the utmost relaxation.
His unstable emotions once again came at the right position and today, his mind started to feel the relaxed surface near his heart and mind.
A faint smirk started to lighten over his lips when he rubbed his hair at the back to realize the major thing.
"You have surely fallen for this girl, Javier…"
