'Why do you have to use telepathy?' he questioned, his mental voice carrying a tone of mild irritation. 'Just explain as usual. This place has a special security spell to prevent spies from hearing any conversations.' His reassurance was clear.

I stood my ground, my decision firm. 'Just communicate with this and listen to my story. You'll understand why I do it,' I replied through our telepathic link.

In response, Lord Damon let out a long, exasperated breath. It was clear that he was not entirely pleased with my insistence. 'Fine,' he relented, his tone carrying a hint of resignation. 'Tell me what happened.'

I launched into the narrative. I described how, with little warning, a crack had materialized as suddenly as a lightning bolt, only to vanish just as swiftly, the way it appeared and closed in the blink of an eye, leaving no trace behind.

I detailed the emergence of the colossal eye, recounted how it materialized, and revealed how it had managed to seize Beel's core.

I described the confrontation that followed. The sheer power that emanated from the colossal eye, its power.

Then, I made my final deduction. I suggested that the colossal eye and the power felt by Azrael might be interconnected. I explained how I had sensed an unusual demonic power emanating from the colossal eye.

'I guess this has something to do with what Azrael has experienced,' I mused, my thoughts laid bare. 'It's just that the time frame doesn't match.'

Lord Damon remained deep in thought, his brow furrowed with concentration.

So I never take this seriously.' His words were tinged with doubt. 'But based on what you said,' he continued, 'that's all I can think of.'

'So this creature's origin is some kind of story about unicorns or pegasus?'

Lord Damon's response was matter-of-fact. 'Unicorns and pegasus do exist in the light dimension,' he pointed out.

'Then this creature might also exist,' I stated with a furrowed brow, my gaze fixed on him.

Lord Damon nodded, confirming my suspicion. 'So, based on my father's story,' he began, 'a long time ago, there was a creature that guarded the border between the human and demon world. This creature will not prevent creatures from two worlds from entering each other, but only ensures that no creatures are trapped in between.'

My eyes widened at the revelation. 'Wait... you mean there is another world on the border?' I sought further clarification.

Lord Damon explained. 'It can't be said to be a world or dimension. It's simply just a little space between two worlds. Something like a small alley between two buildings.'

'Alright, then?' I prompted, eager to hear more of his story, my curiosity piqued.

Lord Damon continued.

'This creature usually guards that space,' he explained, 'but he should have fallen asleep long ago because he was bored. There has never been a case of a creature being trapped between worlds, after all.'

As he spoke, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place, and a realization dawned on me. 'I think I understand what happened...' I began.
