Chapter 661: Chapter 658: Vengeance?

Qin Ya soon brought the prisoner to a plaza.

The buildings surrounding the plaza had almost all collapsed. The ground was pitted and uneven, marred by a dozen fissures each hundreds of feet long. It was a scene of utter devastation.

Evidently, this was the dueling ground where Qin Ya fought the prisoners.

The prisoner glanced around, his eyes showing a trace of astonishment. Judging from the scars of battle, this damage had clearly been caused by two experts of equal strength.

’This kid... does he really possess the strength of a top-tier Half-Venerable?’

With that thought, he took a deep breath. His expression grew grave as he said solemnly to Qin Ya, "Kid, listen well. My name is..."

Qin Ya held up a hand, cutting him off. "I have no interest in your name," he said coolly. "Stop wasting time. Make your move and let’s get this over with."

Anger flashed across the prisoner’s face.

"Listen up! I’m called—"

"You talk too much."

Qin Ya’s gaze sharpened. In a flash, he appeared before the prisoner, his vast True Essence surging as he unleashed a palm strike containing the Power of Destruction.

The prisoner’s pupils shrank in horror.

He let out a furious roar as Divine Light erupted from him. He threw a sudden punch, its force as heavy and tyrannical as a mountain. As fist and palm collided, a terrifying shockwave spread beneath their feet. The ground shattered and collapsed, forming a massive crater a hundred feet deep!

As Qi Force blasted out, the prisoner stumbled back several steps. He had barely managed to withstand Qin Ya’s Palm Power, and the disdain in his eyes was long gone, replaced by pure horror.

He had mastered the incredibly dense and heavy Kui Mountain Mysterious technique. In a head-on collision, he had never feared a single Half-Venerable. He never thought, however, that he would be at a disadvantage in his very first exchange with Qin Ya.

Qin Ya smiled faintly. "Your strength isn’t bad, but you’re still too weak."

As his words faded, a terrifying power burst from his Qi and Blood, supplementing the destructive Palm Power. A crimson tide seemed to roil around his body, cresting in wave after massive wave.

Empowered by this terrifying Qi and Blood, the might of his Palm Power soared once again!

BOOM! The prisoner’s body shot away like a cannonball, flying for hundreds of feet before brutally smashing into a pile of ruined walls, kicking up a massive cloud of dust and debris.

"Damn it."

BOOM...

The prisoner burst out from a spray of shattered rock.

"Forget it. This prisoner’s too weak. I might as well test out my new Mysterious Technique," Qin Ya muttered as the man closed within five meters.

Meanwhile, anger flared in the prisoner’s heart.

’Too weak? Damn it, he’s clearly looking down on me.’

’He was also confused. A new Mysterious Technique? What the hell was that?’

But whatever it was, it couldn’t suppress his urge to crush Qin Ya to dust. With a furious roar, he charged forward, his entire body like a great mountain crashing down.

’Hmph, still not moving? Then just wait for death!’

In an instant, the prisoner was only a meter from Qin Ya, yet Qin Ya remained rooted to the spot, completely still. The prisoner couldn’t help but sneer inwardly.

’At this distance, it’s too late for him to even try and fight back.’

BOOM...

A violent impact suddenly rang out, and the earth trembled!

The prisoner had slammed into the ground with a loud bang, carving out a huge crater. When he got up and dusted himself off, he looked completely bewildered.

’What just happened?’

’Where did that kid go? How did he just vanish in the blink of an eye?’

"Hey. I’m over here."

Just then, a cool voice called out.

The prisoner turned to see Qin Ya standing on a large rock nearby, completely unscathed. There was even a hint of mockery in his eyes.

"You bastard! Die!"

Burning with rage, Divine Light coursing over his body, he smashed a fist forward.

The punch created a vortex in the air, revealing the faint image of a great mountain. The terrifying Fist Power caused the very air to crackle and shatter, stirring up a violent gale.

But just as the Fist Force was about to reach Qin Ya, his figure vanished with a WHOOSH. When he reappeared, he was already right in front of the prisoner.

"This is over."

Before the prisoner’s horrified eyes, Qin Ya casually sent a palm strike forward.

CRACK, CRACK...

The prisoner’s bones shattered. He spat out several mouthfuls of blood as he was sent flying.

...

「In the Ghost Prison」

The great doors slowly swung open. A Prison Guard returned to the cells, carrying the prisoner.

"Haha, I told you that guy was going to get wrecked. And what do you know?"

"Tsk, tsk. He could’ve messed with anyone, but he just had to pick that kid. And after daring to sneer at us, too. Serves him right. Maybe now he’ll learn his place."

"Serves him right. Let’s see how arrogant he is now."

Just then, Qin Ya walked over slowly. He glanced at the surrounding prisoners, then casually pointed to several of them. "You, you, you, and you. All of you, with me."

The prisoners exchanged confused glances.

’What’s he trying to do?’

One of the prisoners asked, "Sir, what is this about?"

Qin Ya said coolly, "You’re coming outside to fight me."

"We concede," the prisoner said bluntly. "We’re no match for you, Sir. Why should we bother fighting? Please, don’t make things difficult for us."

A small smile played on Qin Ya’s lips. "Do you know why I picked four of you?"

"We do not."

"I’m giving you a chance. All four of you can come at me together."

HISS...

At his words, it wasn’t just the prisoners; even the few Prison Guards who had come along gasped. ’Holy hell, does he really have to go that far?’

True, they all admitted Qin Ya was powerful, but it was four against one. That was just absurd. While each prisoner was weaker than Qin Ya, the difference wasn’t huge. Every one of them possessed the strength of a top-tier Half-Venerable. Against those kinds of numbers, no matter how strong Qin Ya was, his odds of winning were slim.

Upon hearing this, the prisoners’ eyes glinted with excitement.

"You’re serious, Sir?"

"I am."

"Then we accept."

At this point, the prisoners had forgotten all about trying to get out of the Ghost Prison. All they wanted was to teach Qin Ya a brutal lesson and get revenge for the suffering they’d endured lately.

Soon, the group arrived at the plaza once more.

Qin Ya crooked his finger. "Come on."

"Heh heh. You’d better be careful, Sir."

One prisoner let out a sinister chuckle and cracked his neck. Then, he shot towards Qin Ya like a cannonball. The other three exchanged a glance; knowing how strong Qin Ya was, they attacked at the same time, swarming him from all sides. In an instant, every one of Qin Ya’s escape routes—above, left, and right—was sealed off!

’Let’s see you block this!’

The four prisoners’ hearts burned. The thought of finally getting revenge and washing away days of humiliation caused the speed and power of their attacks to surge.

BOOM, BOOM...

The very air around Qin Ya vibrated violently from the terrifying force.

Just as the prisoners’ attacks were about to land, the corner of Qin Ya’s mouth curled into a smile. Then, with a WHOOSH, he vanished.
