Chapter 167: Chapter 167 The command STOP Pt 1

Talia’s POV

The power exploded from my chest like a star being born.

I had never felt anything like it. Not when I shifted, not when I faced Alpha Stone, and not even when I first heard Lyra’s voice in my head.

This was different, and this was bigger.

It was like the power had been waiting for this moment, and waiting for me to finally let it go.

It was not gentle, and at the same time, it was not slow. It was like a force of nature, that was wild and uncontrollable, and it was surging through my veins like liquid fire. I felt it fill every part of me, from the tips of my fingers to the roots of my hair.

My skin tingled, my bones hummed from the flow, and I felt my entire being alive, and active with energy.

The energy raced through me like a wild river, unstoppable and fierce. I had never felt so powerful, so alive, and so connected to everything around me.

I could feel the power pulsing through my blood, singing in my bones, and dancing across my skin. It was warm and fierce and wild. It did not feel like a part of me, it felt like I was a part of it. Like I was just a vessel for something much older, and much greater.

I was no longer just Talia, I was something more. And I felt like something ancient, and something powerful.

The world around me seemed to slow down, and time itself seemed to bend and stretch.

The sounds of the battle became distant, and muffled, like I was hearing them from underwater, but I could see every detail with perfect clarity. I could see the tears on a warrior’s face, the blood dripping from Viktor’s claws, and the way Kaelen’s chest rose and fell with each labored breath.

The flames of the burning catapults froze mid-flicker, the dust that had been kicked up by the fighting hung suspended in the air, and the screams and howls of the battle faded into silence.

And yet, I could still see everything.

I could see Viktor’s claws raised above Kaelen, frozen in the air. I could see the triumph in his eyes, and the cruel smile that had not yet faded from his lips. I could see Kaelen on his knees, with his body broken and bleeding, and his gray eyes wide with pain and exhaustion.

I could see the pack watching from the sidelines.

I saw Piper among them, with her hand pressed to her mouth, and her eyes wide. I saw Nora, with her face pale and streaked with tears. And I saw Jax and Silas and Cain, with their bodies tense, and their weapons still raised. They had been fighting for so long, and they had given everything. And now, they were watching me.

Their faces frozen in fear and hope, as I opened my mouth.

For a moment, nothing happened. I felt the power rising, building, and pressing against the inside of my chest like a caged animal. I opened my mouth, and the words came out, not as a whisper, but as a force of nature.

The power surged up my throat, filling my voice with something that was not entirely my own.

It was older than me, and it felt deeper.

I could feel them with me; my mother, Seraphina, who had given me the charm and hidden me away. My grandmother, who I had never met, and all the Silvertongues who had been hunted and killed. They were with me in that moment, and it seemed as if their voices were blending with mine, and like their was power flowing through my blood.

"STOP.........." I said loudly.

The word echoed across the battlefield.

I heard it bounce off the stone walls, roll across the courtyard, and fade into the forest beyond. It was like the sound of a thousand voices speaking as one. Like the world itself was repeating the command back to me.

It was not a shout, and it was not a scream, it was a command, spoken with the weight of generations behind it.

The power in my voice was absolutely overwhelming and overflowing now.

I felt it in the air, thick and heavy, pressing down on everything around me. It was not magic, and it was not a trick. It was the truth of the world, spoken into existence by a voice that had been born to command.

It could not be ignored, and it could not be resisted.

The battlefield went dead silent.

The silence was deafening. After hours of screaming, and clashing, and roaring, the sudden stillness was almost unbearable. I could hear my own heartbeat in my ears, steady and strong, and I could feel Kaelen’s ragged breathing, even though it was barely a whisper.

The flames stopped flickering, the wind stopped blowing, and every wolf, every rogue, and every warrior in the courtyard froze in place. They could not move, they could not speak, and I was very sure that they could barely even breathe.

I looked around the battlefield and saw the frozen faces of the wolves. Some had tears frozen on their cheeks, and others had their mouths open mid-roar. The rogues looked terrified, and their eyes were wide with confusion. They had no idea what was happening, and neither did I.

But I knew I had to keep going.
