Chapter 351: Chapter 300-301: Chaos Crystal Stone, Secluded Cultivation in the Abode

Stepping into the private room, Xu Chang’an felt as if he had been transported to another space entirely.

Instead of the room he had imagined, he found himself in an infinitely vast night sky, dotted with starlight like the depths of the ocean.

In the night sky, an old man with a flowing white beard sat cross-legged.

His posture and bearing were that of an Immortal.

If Xu Chang’an didn’t know he was in the Great Realm Di Jun, a stronghold of the Demon Race, he might have mistaken the man for a Great Power of the Human Race.

The old man did not open his eyes; they remained closed.

As if sensing Xu Chang’an’s arrival, he flicked his sleeve, and a massive screen of light materialized in the vast night sky.

Light swirled as text materialized on its surface.

Xu Chang’an looked up.

The screen displayed the buyback prices for a multitude of resources and treasures.

There were categories such as Elixir Medicine Class, Spiritual Object Class, Spirit Treasure Class, Puppet Class, Enhancement Class, and so on.

Further down were numerous subcategories and detailed descriptions.

Xu Chang’an looked closer.

Items like High-grade Elixirs, Top-Grade Spiritual Treasures, High-Tier Demon Talismans, and High-tier Puppets were all listed with their evaluated buyback prices.

An Ordinary Spiritual Treasure would cost about twenty Spirit Crystals to purchase.

But here at the Kunpeng Palace, the buyback price for an undamaged Ordinary Spiritual Treasure rich in Spirituality ranged from twelve to eighteen Spirit Crystals.

It was safe to say the Kunpeng Palace was incredibly profitable!

But this was a business so profitable that other factions couldn’t replicate it. Even if they tried, they wouldn’t be able to protect it!

Xu Chang’an had quite a few resources on him.

Not to mention the Top-Grade Spiritual Treasure, the Primordial Thunder Armor, he had over ten Top-Grade Spiritual Treasures. He also had numerous Attacking Divine Techniques and Secret Techniques.

However, all of these things...

Having just arrived in Kongchen Demon City, Xu Chang’an had no intention of selling them.

His current Cultivation was only at the Early-stage Void Refining Realm, which was considered quite low in Kongchen Demon City.

With such a low level of strength, he certainly wasn’t going to reveal his entire fortune and attract the envious eyes of demons.

’I have to hold some things back.’

’At least, until I have the means to protect myself, I won’t reveal my entire fortune!’

’Still, while I can’t reveal everything, showing a little bit should be fine.’

Xu Chang’an had already decided what he was going to sell this time!

"Senior, please take a look."

Xu Chang’an took out a Jade Scroll.

The Jade Scroll flashed, turning into a streak of light that shot toward the old man.

This Jade Scroll contained a Tier Seven Alchemy Inheritance!

’A Tier Seven Alchemy Inheritance... It must be worth a fortune!’

’The selling price should be at least three thousand Spirit Crystals!’

’That’s enough to buy two Spiritual Treasures and settle down safely in Kongchen Demon City for a while.’

’By then, I can break through in my Cultivation, and my prospects will be much brighter!’

The old man didn’t open his eyes. He took the Jade Scroll, and his Primordial Spirit Power flared.

’A member of the Harmonization Demon Race!’

Xu Chang’an was inwardly stunned.

Just a moment ago, he had only felt that the old man’s cultivation was unfathomably deep and guessed he might be a Late-stage Void Refining demon.

He never would have thought the old man was actually a demon of the Unity Realm!

’This Kunpeng Palace...’

’Its foundation is this profound!’

’But it makes sense. To preside over the sixth floor of the Kunpeng Palace and acquire so many treasures, one would naturally need exceptional judgment and a keen eye.’

After a few moments, the old man’s voice echoed in the night sky.

"A Tier Seven Alchemy Inheritance! It records the refining methods for quite a few Tier Seven High Grade Elixirs, as well as some exclusive secret techniques! Not bad. Eight thousand Spirit Crystals. Are you willing to sell?"

There was a hint of praise in the old man’s words.

The Kunpeng Palace had an excellent reputation and disdained the practice of maliciously devaluing items to drive down the price.

Such an act would only diminish its status and reputation for no good reason.

Backed by the Kunpeng True Immortal, the Kunpeng Palace’s influence was immense, spreading across Kunpeng Land and its many Buzhou Demon Cities. It was only natural that it possessed such an air of confidence!

’Eight thousand Spirit Crystals!’

"Deal!"

Xu Chang’an had thought he would only get three or four thousand Spirit Crystals for it.

After all, there was no shortage of Harmonization Demon Race members in the Great Realm.

Although a Tier Seven Alchemy Inheritance was valuable, it wasn’t *that* valuable!

In comparison, a Top-Grade Spiritual Treasure was worth even more!

Since Xu Chang’an agreed, the old man said nothing more.

With a wave of his sleeve, a pile of Spirit Crystals flew toward Xu Chang’an.

’Eight thousand Spirit Crystals! The count is correct!’

His Demon Sense confirmed the amount was correct, and Xu Chang’an accepted them.

At the Refining Void Realm, there was no chance of a mistake in a transaction of this size, so there was no need to count them meticulously.

"Thank you, Senior!"

Xu Chang’an cupped his hands in a brief salute and left the private room.

Returning to the main hall, Xu Chang’an saw that Chu Xianyi was gone.

He figured her number must have been called, and she was inside selling her items.

He wasn’t in a hurry, so he waited in the hall for a while.

He didn’t have to wait long before Chu Xianyi came out.

"All done?" Xu Chang’an asked, looking at Chu Xianyi.

"Mhm," Chu Xianyi nodded.

"So, what’s next?"

"Let’s look around separately," Chu Xianyi said nonchalantly.

"Alright."

Xu Chang’an was more than happy with that arrangement.

His relationship with Chu Xianyi was, to put it mildly, complicated.

They had undergone a Soul Fusion, so logically, they should have been inseparable.

And yet, when they had actually come to blows, they held nothing back, each wishing the other dead!

But to call them mortal enemies wasn’t quite right, either.

The two of them could still communicate calmly, and from time to time, they even had interactions that suggested something more than an ordinary relationship.

The sixth floor of the Kunpeng Palace had its own Transmission Array Patterns.

Demons stood guard beside the Array Patterns.

Xu Chang’an and Chu Xianyi stated their intentions.

Xu Chang’an was heading to the first floor of the Kunpeng Palace, while Chu Xianyi was going to the third.

The first floor of the Kunpeng Palace sold relatively common items and resources.

The third floor, on the other hand, sold more high-end resources.

’I wonder what Chu Xianyi just sold.’
