The Greatest Village Doctor In The World
Chapter 2595 - 2594: Interrogation
The Tsarist Russians were so relaxed, they never considered the possibility of a stealth attack on the camp—this alone made Ling Feng look down on them.
Seeing the people inside eating and drinking happily, Ling Feng thought for a moment and decided to wait a while.
The ranks of these people should not be low, but it wasn’t clear yet who was the leader. He didn’t want to waste time catching someone unimportant; he wanted to find the key person, who had the most information.
Anyway, Ling Feng was currently using invisibility, so no one could see him, meaning he wasn’t in a hurry. He simply sat outside the tent.
The people inside were drinking and eating heartily, oblivious to the danger right beside them, still reveling in their merriment.
A few minutes later, Ling Feng discerned from their conversation who was the highest-ranking officer here—it was the fattest one among them!
This guy was the overall leader of the entire military camp, akin to a military district commander.
The others were all his subordinates and his loyal followers, which was why they were sitting together, drinking and eating so intimately.
Once he understood the situation, Ling Feng looked around, his eyes turning as he took out a fire-attributed Five Elements Fruit from the Space Ring.
Then he tossed it, and it was thrown over a hundred meters, landing on a tent in the military camp.
With a bang, flames erupted, instantly devouring that tent.
At the same time, chaos erupted within the military camp, quickly growing into noisy disorder.
The people in the tent naturally heard the commotion outside, and upon hearing someone shout that there was a fire, everyone immediately stood up.
A fire in a camp was no small matter, and if coupled with a gust of wind, it could lead to a wildfire throughout the camp!
The officers hurriedly put down their food and rushed outside.
Seeing the flames soaring in the distance, the leading commander immediately shouted, "Go over there quickly, make sure the fire doesn’t spread!"
"Yes!"
A few officers, already tipsy, quickly ran towards the fire.
Being the commander, the fat man didn’t have to personally put out the fire, so he stood at the tent entrance for a while before turning back inside.
Just as he entered, he suddenly felt a numbness at his waist, followed by darkness before his eyes!
Ling Feng let out a cold chuckle, easily succeeding!
Afterward, he took a giant leap and left the place, heading back at full speed to the parked spaceship.
Once there, Xiangxue quickly ran over and asked, "Why did it take so long this time?"
"I was delayed in the middle."
Ling Feng replied briefly, taking the person out of the ring.
As the other person stood there bewildered, Ling Feng demanded in a stern voice, "What’s your name?"
"Who are you?"
Being an army leader, the other person wasn’t nervous; instead, he calmly asked.
"Who I am isn’t important; what’s your name?" Ling Feng shouted.
The man looked around, realizing it was pitch black and he couldn’t see the camp—he had no clue how he ended up here.
After a moment of thought, he quickly said, "I am Bakrov, the third leader of the Tsarist Russian Expeditionary Force. Who are you, daring to capture me!"
"I am from Huaxia!"
Ling Feng chuckled coldly, looking at Bakrov, "Do you understand now why I captured you?"
"....."
Bakrov was stunned, then asked, lowering his voice, "I don’t know. Why did you capture me?"
"You mentioned you’re a leader of the Expeditionary Force. Who is your army expeditioning against?" Ling Feng asked coldly.
"....."
Bakrov fell silent again.
Seeing how composed he remained, Ling Feng smiled, "I don’t want to waste words with you. Tell me what you know, and maybe I’ll spare your life today. If not, it’s okay; I have plenty of ways to deal with you!"
"I joined the army at twelve, killed countless people, and was nearly killed countless times. Do you think your warning can scare me? What a joke!"
Bakrov said with disdain.
"Oh, so you’re quite tough."
Ling Feng smiled, saying nothing. He directly placed his hand on the man’s neck: "Tell me, what is your goal?"
"Don’t even think about it!"
Bakrov sneered.
But Ling Feng ignored him, continuing to ask, "How many soldiers are in your expeditionary force?"
"I will never tell you!" Bakrov said.
Ling Feng continued, "When does your queen plan to start the war, and in what form will she attack the Li Dynasty?"
"I already said I won’t tell you, so why keep asking!" Bakrov angrily replied.
Despite this, Ling Feng ignored him and asked several more questions.
Finally, he left the man completely bewildered.
After a while, Ling Feng understood what he needed from Bakrov’s mind, letting out a cold laugh: "You have quite the ambitions, thinking you can crush the Li Dynasty with just one million troops?"
Bakrov: "....."
"Your queen told you and the other leaders that once winter sets in, the Li Dynasty’s soldiers will surely face supply issues, right? But you’re mistaken!"
"You, you..."
Bakrov was dumbfounded; he hadn’t said anything, so how did Ling Feng know?
At this point, Ling Feng chuckled coldly, "You really have a shallow view, unaware of the massive changes in the Li Dynasty. You dare dream of invading our land!"
After finishing, he paid no attention to the man, directly tossing him into the Space Ring and turning to Xiangxue, saying, "We need to take a trip to the Tsarist Russian Capital City!"
"Alright!"
Xiangxue nodded, then asked, "Should we head out now?"
"Yes, fly over now; if we’re fast, we’ll be back after dawn!"
Ling Feng said as he stepped onto the spaceship.
Xiangxue followed him, and then the spaceship took off, heading straight northwest.
The Empress of Starlight had already mapped this world, but not every city in detailed depth, so finding Yekaterina’s Imperial Palace would take some time.
When the spaceship arrived in the Tsarist Russian Capital City, it was midnight; only a few lights were on, as the entire city was asleep.
The spaceship landed silently, and Ling Feng used Divine Sense to locate the Imperial Palace, then said to Xiangxue, "I need to take care of some things, wait for me."
"Okay, if you need anything, Ling Feng, don’t hesitate." Xiangxue said.
Ling Feng smiled, "I won’t hesitate, but this is a secret mission; I must go alone for efficiency."
"Alright."
Xiangxue wanted to help but knew Ling Feng was right, so she nodded, feeling a bit downhearted.
Ling Feng left the spaceship, soon disappearing into the darkness, heading straight to the Imperial Palace!
