Xiangxue shook her head, "Nothing really, just a bit curious."

"Let’s see the situation tomorrow before deciding on the next step. This isn’t a difficult matter."

Ling Feng smiled and then said, "Get some sleep early."

"Okay."

Actually, Xiangxue didn’t want to sleep, but seeing that Ling Feng seemed disinclined to continue the conversation, she could only sigh inwardly and close her eyes.

The night passed quickly. By the next morning, Ling Feng hadn’t left the ship but ordered it to set sail toward the border between the Li Dynasty and Tsarist Russia.

Crossing mountains and rivers, and spanning vast grasslands, Ling Feng saw a small town through his Divine Sense.

This place was completely built by the military, and seeing everyone inside wearing Li Dynasty’s uniforms, Ling Feng knew they were the Border Defense Army.

The border was in sight. Ling Feng didn’t disturb the Border Defense Army but instead had the ship ascend into the clouds.

This elevation was perfect: the Divine Sense could see the ground, but the people below couldn’t see the ship, avoiding exposure.

Then the ship crossed the border directly, and Ling Feng meticulously observed the situation below, quickly discovering the border defense troops of Tsarist Russia.

The military presence here was evidently larger than that of the Li Dynasty’s side.

However, whether in appearance or the environment within the military camp, in comparison, Tsarist Russia’s troops were almost incomparable to the Li Dynasty’s side.

Just from this first intuition, Ling Feng knew they were definitely not a match for the Li Dynasty’s army!

After observing for a while, Ling Feng ordered the ship to begin patrolling along the borderline, during which he discovered a few more camps from both sides.

After covering several hundred kilometers of borderline, Ling Feng concluded that the situation between the two sides was still very stable, with no likelihood of war in the short term.

Furthermore, even if conflict arose now, the Li Dynasty’s army was fully capable of obliterating the invading enemy.

Seeing this, Ling Feng felt relieved and, after some thought, decided to venture deeper into Tsarist Russia’s inland areas.

The ship flew straight in the northwest direction, and his Divine Sense never stopped scanning, continually observing the ground conditions.

After traveling dozens of kilometers, Ling Feng suddenly furrowed his brows!

Xiangxue, lacking Divine Sense, had been sitting quietly beside him. Noticing this expression, she quickly asked, "What’s wrong?"

"I discovered a huge military camp with quite a number of soldiers inside!"

Ling Feng said with a serious tone, "The Tsarist Russians have secretly stationed troops near the border!"

Li Huang was unaware of this.

There had been no report from the border, so he naturally wouldn’t know the situation here.

And evidently, the other party was very cunning, not building the camp too close to the borderline but maintaining some distance.

The Li Dynasty hadn’t sent spies deep into their territory, so naturally, they were oblivious to this situation!

Ling Feng immediately ordered the ship to continue flying in search of other possible camps.

And true enough, after some searching, Ling Feng found several large military camps.

In total, along this line, the Tsarist Russian troops already exceeded a hundred thousand!

This was no small number.

Moreover, the search area wasn’t large, just a section of barely over a hundred kilometers along the borderline!

Based on this ratio, Ling Feng speculated the Tsarist Russians might have amassed over a million troops here!

Having uncovered this, seeing that it was getting late, Ling Feng ordered the ship to land in a mountainous area.

Once grounded, he and Xiangxue exited the cabin.

"You stay here and wait for me; I’ll go catch someone from a nearby camp to get some information." Ling Feng said to Xiangxue.

"Alright, I’ll wait for you!"

Xiangxue nodded without saying more.

Seizing the cover of night as the sky darkened, Ling Feng left the mountainous area for the nearest camp.

The military discipline of the Tsarist Russians seemed slack; the camp was chaotic, with many drunken individuals, apparently heavily drinking during dinner.

The cacophony and disorder were Ling Feng’s first impression of their camp.

Activating the Invisibility Ring, Ling Feng effortlessly entered the camp, casually grabbing a drunken soldier and tossing him into the Space Ring.

Those around didn’t even notice someone suddenly missing!

After capturing the drunk, Ling Feng didn’t seize anyone else and quietly exited.

Once back at Xiangxue’s location, he brought out the soldier and then pressed his hand on the soldier’s neck.

This drunk had consumed quite a bit of alcohol, but after some prompting from Ling Feng, the alcohol in his system quickly dissipated, and he regained his consciousness.

Upon awakening, he found himself in a dark mountain with not a light in sight, just two vague figures, which scared the soldier so much he broke out in a cold sweat.

"Don’t be nervous; I have some questions and won’t harm you!" Ling Feng spoke in Russian.

Hearing this, the soldier immediately asked, "Who... who are you?"

"That’s not important. Tell me, how long have you been stationed here?" Ling Feng queried.

"Four months."

The soldier replied.

Seemingly fearing death or mistreatment, he readily complied, answering whatever Ling Feng asked.

Soon, Ling Feng gleaned a lot of critical intelligence from him.

These personnel were transferred from Tsarist Russia’s inland areas a few months ago, indeed to wage war!

Furthermore, Ling Feng discovered from this man’s account that the Tsarist Russians had prepared a large batch of secret weapons, intending to use them in future conflicts, convinced they could march unimpeded straight into the Capital City of the Li Dynasty!

But when Ling Feng asked what those weapons were, the soldier shook his head, indicating he didn’t know yet!

From the looks of it, those things hadn’t been officially distributed to the troops and needed more time.

Ling Feng posed a few more questions, but due to the soldier’s low rank, he couldn’t procure any more valuable information.

The only certainty was that the Tsarist Russians indeed harbored sinister intentions toward the Li Dynasty’s territory!

Understanding this, Ling Feng stuffed the man back into the Space Ring, then told Xiangxue, "I need to run another trip to catch a higher-up from their camp—there should be more to discover!"

"Alright, I’ll wait for you."

Xiangxue said nothing else, just nodded.

Ling Feng returned to the camp, silently scouring it until he located the highest officer’s tent.

Situated deep within the camp, the tent appeared similar to the others; without noticing the frequent comings and goings of wine and meat deliveries, it would have been hard to guess it was the commander’s tent.

Approaching, Ling Feng scanned inside with his Divine Sense, observing five or six burly men seated together, drinking and eating meat. By their flushed cheeks, it was clear they had consumed quite a lot.
