Chapter 286 - Rage
Evan was tired, but he still had the strength to fight.
<So it's one against three? Well, at least it's a lot better than one against sixteen.> Evan pondered to himself as he looked at his opponents.
Besides Sara, one Creator and Amplifier was left on the stage, a Two-Pointed Star with one flame.
They suffered less in this battle than the others, for they were stronger and more skilled than the others. Moreover, by coincidence, they were not hit by Evan's and Reykar's massive attacks.
Evan prepared for the fight, but suddenly one man said, "Evan, do you have any idea what kind of situation you're in and what you're doing?"
"А? What do you mean what kind of situation I was in? I just decided to finish off a couple of light mages. The rest isn't that important." Evan replied gruffly. He wasn't in the mood to talk to any of them.
"Pfft, you're a real fool. You killed thirteen members of the Tear of Light. You can't live the past life anymore. Even if you escape from here by some miracle, our people will be looking all over The Kingdom of Fallen Hopes for you. Your days are numbered." The man said harshly.
"Escape? Are you a fool? I'll just kill you all and be done with it." Proclaimed Evan and was about to attack them, but suddenly the ground trembled.
Their battle didn't last long, but it was enough to make the Meteorite Golems lose their patience. Usually, these monsters behaved very passively and only attacked if someone attacked them.
But they could no longer tolerate outsiders in their home.
One of the Meteorite Golems decided to attack the members of the Tear of Light. The monster decided to attack them for a very simple reason-they were in the majority, and therefore more trouble was to be expected from them. The Meteorite Golems thought rather primitively, which suited their appearance and character.
No one had expected such a turn of events. One of the Tears of Light members prepared to defend himself, and Evan wanted to take advantage of the situation and attack one of them. But, suddenly, he saw a blurry silhouette appear in the air in front of the Meteorite Golem.
Sara blinked and saw an incredible sight. Half of Meteorite Golem's body was gone.
Unlike Sara and Evan, the two remaining members of the Tears of Light understood what had just happened.
Bam.
Half of the Meteorite Golems body fell to the ground with a crash.
Before him, Evan saw a short, frail-looking girl with blond, short hair and green eyes. Strands of hair barely reached her chin. On her forehead was a tattoo in the shape of three blobs.
She was dressed in a tight white shirt with long sleeves and tight pants. She wore black gloves with loose fingers on her hands.
Evan immediately used Mammon's Gaze. He sensed that this girl was incredibly dangerous.

<She is at the same stage as Sara, but obviously, she is much stronger. There's no way Sara could have killed Meteorite Golem in one hit, considering the monster just came out of anabiosis.> Evan thought.
Ein looked at Evan with a cold face, then at the corpses of the members of the Tear of Light beside him, and then at the surviving mages.
She walked over to one of the surviving members of the Tear of Light and...
Clap.
Gave one of them a powerful slap. It was so strong that the man instantly lost a couple of teeth. However, he didn't dare say a word.
Ein calmly said, "You were ordered to wait for me to come and not to engage in any fighting. You disobeyed the rules and now look what happened. We lost more than ten of our men. When we get back, you will be punished severely and by the rules."
They could only nod. Ein was much stronger than they were, not even Sara was her equal. Even though they were at the same stage, Ein was an unreachable level for her. She was one of the geniuses recently nurtured by the leadership of the Tears of Light.
Then Ein turned around, looked intently at Evan, and with a little regret in her voice, said, "Eh, you're pretty cute. If you had joined the Tears of Light instead of going to the dark side of this world, you and I would have had a pretty good romance."
Sara and the members of the Tear of Light were surprised by such words. Evan, on the other hand, didn't even hear them. At that moment, his whole mind was focused on Ein's words.
<Rules... all according to the rules. Evan thought to himself.
He was in some strange trance into which he had put himself because of his subconscious. That one word had haunted him all his past life.
Realizing that Evan had no intention of talking, Ein decided to act. Regardless of her words or actions, her facial expression remained unemotional. None of the members of the Tear of Light had ever seen her smile or frown.
She began to do a little bounce. Then she turned into a blur and reached Evan in less than a split second.
Only then did he come to his senses and try to dodge the blow, but he didn't have time for that. In that situation, it was impossible to dodge the fist of Ein.
Bam.
Ein punched Evan in the chest with all her might. The incredible force of the blow sent Evan flying sideways and into the stone wall. He threw up a mouthful of blood, and Scarlet Sacrifice was half destroyed. That armor was no longer of any value.
A single blow destroyed the armor and broke several of Evan's ribs, and many cracks went through Evan's chest.
Ein slowly walked over to Evan and said, "Get up. I don't believe this is all you can do."
Evan only calmly replied, "Tell me, what do the rules mean to you?"
Ein wasn't confused by the question, and she quickly replied, "All rules are absolute. They create order, without them, we are no better than monsters."
"Even if most rules are stupid, unfair, unnecessarily cruel, and irrational?"
"Yes," Ein replied coldly.
"I see," Evan replied calmly.
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
The next moment Ein felt an incredible pressure on her, and Evan's eyes filled with blood.
"Then, know my WRATH!" Ewan's voice rumbled.
