His scaled tail swished behind while he was thinking. But this side-to-side movement of his tail paused slightly when he heard Slav groan.

He also stopped thinking of glancing at Slav. His Insight Star picked up something special about Slav. So he activated the Power Identification to take a look at the young master.

Metac: Danger Sense (Divine)

Slav has awakened the Danger Sense Metac.

When he saw this, his eyes narrowed as he thought, ’It seems Fenrir breaking and detaching from me has more consequences than I thought.’

He has reversed time many times, but Slav never reawakened a Divine Metac, even if he no longer possessed that Divine Metac. The Danger Sense Metac is a clear example of this.

He had long destroyed the Danger Sense Metac, but it never reappeared in Slav. He always thought that was normal. But now he is starting to think that something else was happening, even though he didn’t have the Danger Sense Metac anymore.

For now, he isn’t sure if he is at fault because of the special element within him, or if this was all Fenrir’s fault. But he is somewhat certain that the reason Slav has now reawakened the Danger Sense Metac is due to the changes between him and Fenrir.

At least, he is sure that Fenrir’s breaking is why he lost all of his previous Metacs and Divine Metacs. Only the Rewind Metac is with him because it is what he was able to bring along from the future. The rest have been lost.

However, he didn’t dwell on this too much. His thought quickly moved on to the matter of what to do with the Danger Sense Metac.

Slav is now unconscious, some distance away from him. Since Slav can’t resist, he can take the Danger Sense Metac if he wants to. Even if Slav were awake, he is sure that he can take the Danger Sense Metac for himself.

So Slav isn’t a problem at all. The only source of the problem for him regarding the Danger Sense Metac is the attitude of the Dao Lords after taking it. This risk of drawing the attention of Dao Lords made him think carefully about this decision before letting himself fall into temptation.

After thinking about it, he said to himself, ’I have a Cave Heaven, so I should be able to block the perception of Dao Lords when they are not looking at me directly. But even if it doesn’t work, I have the Rewind Metac.’

So he decided to take the Divine Metac. Once he made up his mind, he acted on it.

He strode over to Slav. On his way to the young master, he tossed a tracking mark on him. Then he grabbed his neck and broke it.

Slav’s death activated the Seal Ability. The Seal Ability converted the tracking mark into a seal, which encapsulated the Danger Sense Metac. So Loki was able to retrieve the Danger Sense from him through contact.

While the Danger Sense Metac was being pulled out of Slav’s corpse, he thought, ’As for my plan to have a chat with Golden Sun in this timeline, I can put that aside for now. Plus, if I get the Danger Sense Metac, he will awaken the Space Blink Metac.’

’The Space Blink Divine Metac will also awaken his memories. So I should be able to talk to him in the awakening room without waiting for him to go to the underground Cave Heaven. If he doesn’t talk at that time, then I can simply take the Space Blink Metac from him again. ’

A few seconds later, the Danger Sense Metac entered his Cave Heaven. It appeared within the core of his Cave Heaven and stayed beside the Divine Spark together with Fenrir and the Rewind Metac.

He didn’t use the Danger Sense Metac yet, though. Instead, he raised his head to look at the sky.

He stayed like that for a full minute. When no colossal black hand came down to grab him after a minute of waiting, he activated the Danger Sense Metac.

After he activated the Danger Sense Metac, he still continued to stare at the sky. His intuition for danger has now increased with the activation of the Danger Sense Metac, so he could sense more clearly that there was no danger from the sky.

Instead, the source of danger was the sect. He could also sense that someone had been sent by the sect to deal with him.

He couldn’t tell how strong the person the sect sent was, but he could sense that the danger was manageable. This put a smile on his face.

As he smiled, he thought to himself, ’It seems the sect still doesn’t know how powerful I am.’

But then his smile faltered when the danger he sensed from the sect was rising.

From what he could perceive through the Danger Sense Metac, the sect hadn’t sent any more people to kill him, and the threat from the person that was sent was constant. But the sect itself was already planning to take more action against him that would be more dangerous to him.

When he sensed this, he thought solemnly, ’I’d better leave. Staying in the sect’s territory like this is just asking for trouble.’

He has a lot of things he plans to do and many places he needs to be anyway. He has to get Divine Positions to heal Fenrir, and he needs to check out what’s under the river of death that Money Body likes to spend days at a time visiting.

For the former, he can steal Divine Positions from the sects like he has been doing so far. Or he could create his own Divine Positions.

He would prefer to steal from the sects, but since that would come with trouble from the sect and might attract the attention of Dao Lords, he decided to create his own Divine Positions.
