Money Body glared at him and said, "Go on then. Tell me your bright idea."

In response, Money Armor shook his head and said, "I was mistaken. I don’t have a way to make him meet you."

This was a lie, of course. He had a way to make this world king meet Money Body. Money Body knew this method, and so did everyone else, so Money Body wasn’t fooled by the lie.

Instead, he continued to glare as he said, "If you give him access to my Cave Heaven, I will kill you first."

At times, he can humor them by letting them believe that they all own the Cave Heaven and are important members of the Thorn House of Commerce. But in critical moments like this, Money Body always made it clear that the Cave Heaven belonged to only him and that they were nothing but slaves that he could kill at a whim.

Because of Money Body’s stance, Money Armor is now stuck between an early death at the world king’s hands or a late death at Money Body’s hands. It is truly a situation of being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Money Armor had made that suggestion because he wanted to give up on his body. That way, he won’t have to continue taking a beating, and the world king would gain access to the Cave Heaven.

If the world king refused to enter the Cave Heaven, he would be safe. And if the world king took the passage that he opened up to enter the Cave Heaven, they should be able to suppress the world king with their Cave Heaven, and the Monarch Money Body should be able to kill the world king.

But Monarch Money Body absolutely refused to take the risk of exposing his Cave Heaven to anyone. He wasn’t going to do something so risky when he was on the cusp of advancing to rank 9 and certainly not against a world king whose maximum strength is undetermined.

When Money Body thought about the proposition, he snorted and said, "Just earlier, the world king was hiding his strength, and you thought he could be defeated by a rank 7 cultivator. Now that he had suddenly increased his strength, what makes you certain that he can’t increase his strength again?"

Money Armor wanted to apologize for making the stupid suggestion. But before he could speak, Money Body cut him off by badgering him with more questions.

Money Body said, "How can you be sure that he is not hiding his strength? How can you be sure that this is not a ploy for him to gain access to our Cave Heaven? How can you be sure that you are not bringing down the entire alliance with your selfishness?"

Money Armor had only made that suggestion because he wanted to live. He was just desperate for salvation, but now Money Body had turned it into a case of him being selfish.

By rephrasing the situation like this, the other members of the alliance who had been sympathizing with Money Armor now stood on Money Body’s side. After all, what Money Body said made sense.

Based on what they know, Money Body is not invincible in rank 8. Money Body only possesses three Divine Positions, while there are other rank 8 divine beings with four Divine Positions. So it is smart that Money Body is being cautious.

They don’t know why a powerful rank 8 cultivator would try to kill Money Body, but that doesn’t diminish the risk of the situation. Who knows, another rank 8 enemy might appear after Money Armor vibes up his body? The two rank 8 enemies can then take the passage into the Cave Heaven, which will put everyone in danger.

With everyone else on his side, Money Body felt that it was safe to say, "You will just have to take one for the team. Since you can’t resist him, I think it is better that we cut you off so that you stop wasting our world essence."

Money Armor wanted to plead for his life, but Money Body still didn’t allow him to speak. Money Body raised his voice to drown out Money Armor’s voice as he said, "Let’s vote about it. Who here agrees that we should cut our losses while we can?"

This voting was only a formality. There is no way they can use the power of consensus to have their way over Money Body. If Money Body doesn’t get his way in the vote, he will veto the vote and force them to do what he wants.

He is only giving them the opportunity to vote so that they would have the illusion that their opinion is valuable for the decision-making process. This is a good thing for him since he plans to sacrifice all of them soon, and he doesn’t want them to get jittery before the time comes.

Money Armor finally got the opportunity to speak. He immediately said, "Please, don’t abandon me. I will try my best."

Unfortunately for him, it was too late for him to beg.

Money Body had made it clear that he couldn’t come to the rescue, and no one else was powerful enough to rescue him. With their hands tied like this, they had no choice but to let Money Armor go.

So all of us voted to cut Money Armor off from the stock of world essence. Without this support, he would die soon.

As it turned out, Money Armor really didn’t want to die. After failing to get any support by begging. His face contorted with anger as he said, "If I die, then you will all go with me."

As he spoke, he let his body collapse. This created a channel that led from the Cave Heaven to the outside world.

Money Body became incensed when he sensed this channel. He roared in anger as he said, "Insolent traitor. After everything I’ve done to you and given you, is this how you repay me?"
