THE GOD EATER

As Money Body spoke, he gave the order to the Supreme Metac. So the Supreme Metac expanded rapidly. It became too big too fast and beyond its limit, so it exploded into a flash of light in the darkness.

By doing this, Money Body effectively ended his life. But he didn’t mind because he was going to die anyway.

His failure to advance to rank 9 means that he will surely die. This is the price he has to pay for making the attempt without making enough preparation. The destruction of his Supreme Metac only sped up the inevitable.

Money Body’s body began to fade away after the explosion of his Supreme Metac. He was dying, but he had a smile on his face. It was a smile of someone who knew that he had made someone lose just by dying.

So Money Body died, and Loki got nothing. This made him chuckle and say, "I guess like minds think alike. It seems I will have to do better next time."

Then he looked at the heart of the world and said, "Since I am already here."

Even as he was speaking and considering the idea, he made the black force field cover the heart of the world. The Devouring Ability immediately got to work ripping the heart of the world out of the core of the world.

As soon as the Devouring Ability began its world-ending project, the world in question began shouting at him. But instead of cursing at him, the will of Oceania was begging him.

The will of Oceania pleaded, saying, "Please, spare me. I can help you."

When he didn’t stop, the will of Oceania said, "Don’t you need me alive for that usurper? Didn’t you say that I couldn’t be killed?"

In response, Loki yawned loudly. He couldn’t be bothered to talk with his food at this point in time. He had gone through a lot in this timeline and was looking forward to leaving.

After the heart of the world was taken into his Cave Heaven, it was dragged into the core of his Cave Heaven, where it was swallowed by Fenrir.

Fenrir was much smaller than the heart of the world, so the black force field had to shrink the heart first. The heart of the world shrank from something that was the size of a mountain range into something as big as a house. Only then could Fenrir swallow it in one bite.

With the heart of the world gone, Oceania began to collapse. The sect got wind of this and immediately sent him a message penalizing him.

The message said, "You have failed your mission to protect the outpost core. You have also failed to keep Oceania intact. Because of this, you’re being fined 76,500 divine merit points."

When Loki saw this message, his eyes popped in his skull in surprise. Then his eyes became cold, and his face became contorted with anger.

He said, "So Oceania is worth 76,500 divine merit points. But you gave me less than 6,000 divine merit points for helping you to secure it."

"I’m sure you paid Money Body and me less than 10,000 divine merit points for our work. What happened to o the remaining 66,500 divine merit points?"

"This is worse than cheating. No wonder Money Body was willing to risk his life to forge a path forward."

The exorbitant fine isn’t what he was angry about. Actually, he felt that he should be angry about the fine. After all, he had already done his part in planting the outpost core and raising it to maturity. Anything that happens after shouldn’t be his fault.

But as worthy as the exorbitant fine was, he had to get angry about another matter because it was bigger than the fine. When he calculated how much he and Money Body were paid for risking their lives and killing every world king in the world, he realized that he had been fleeced beyond recognition.

Of course, he expected that the sect would gain more than he did, and it was common sense to expect the sect to cheat him. But this much cheating was still too much for him to bear.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the sect sent another message saying, "You have been given ten minutes to pay this fine. If you don’t pay it, you will lose your Divine Positions and your soul will be enslaved until you’ve paid the debt."

"If you need divine merit points, you should use the exchange center in the sect token to earn some. There is an option there to earn 10,000 divine merit points with the heart of a large world."

When he saw the message, he realized that the sect knew that he took the heart of Oceania and wanted him to return it. But they would only give him 10,000 divine merit points for it, even though they just fined him 76,500 points for taking the heart.

This message made him so angry that he said to the sky in anger, "Fine. Have it your way. After all, you’re the big shot here. You’ve only made this more enjoyable for me."

As he said this to the sky, he let the black force field rip the outpost core from the world and pull it into the Cave Heaven. Then he finally let Fenrir eat what it had been craving so much.

Apparently, this sort of behavior was unacceptable to the sect because they sent a message saying, "You’ve destroyed sect property. You have been fined 1,000 divine merit points."

He didn’t even bother to argue with the sect about this. Once he read the message, he ignored it. Then he focused on eating the four Divine Positions and his 48 remaining Divine Metacs.

At first, he thought that there was no one rushing him, and there was no danger. So he believed that he had all the time in the world to eat everything available.
