Then Money Body pointed at Loki as it said to the will of Oceania, "You’ve seen him. Believe it or not, there are plenty of people as strong as him in my world."

"If we want to defeat him and the many others that will come later, we must become stronger. So I must advance now, or we will be doomed."

The will of Oceania still didn’t want to do something so risky, but Money Body had made it clear that it didn’t have a choice in the matter.

So it said, "I wish you good luck."

Then it began to funnel lifespan into Money Body.

This was what Money Body needed. As soon as he received the lifespan, he funneled it into the Supreme Metac.

The Supreme Metac in his hand seemed to ignite as lifespan was poured into it. It became bright like a star, and it began to grow in size.

As the Supreme Metac grew in size, Loki noticed that the completion rate was increasing. This gave him the hope that the Supreme Metac would be completed.

However, he knew that lifespan couldn’t work without a limit. He saw that there was a limit to how much lifespan could work because the lifespan was acting on the components of the Supreme Metac to make up for their deficiency.

So the lifespan was making up for the deficiency of Divine Positions in the Divine Metacs that didn’t have Divine Positions. All 12 Divine Metacs and symbols of authority had this deficiency.

The lifespan was also expanding the weak Life Spark in some of the components. Only the symbols of authority had this problem because only they weren’t at rank 8. The four Divine Metacs of the Money Pathway had Life Sparks that were strong enough.

Because the Life Sparks in the rank 7 and rank 6 components were increasing in size, the size of these components was also increasing. This increase in the size of the components was why the Supreme Metac seemed to be growing in size.

Once these two deficiencies had been fixed, Loki was sure that there was nothing else that lifespan would be able to fix. So lifespan would eventually stop helping, which means that the rest would depend on Money Body’s utilization rate of the individual components.

Loki was wondering about the future limit of growth that Money Body would be able to achieve with the aid of lifespan, but Money Body was struggling with the present problem of continuing to use lifespan to help.

The source of his problem was that the will of Oceania didn’t have enough lifespan to spare for this project. It was running out of lifespan, so something had to be done, or his path would end here before it began.

The will of Oceania should have had 100,000 years of lifespan after the death of all of the dragons. But 80 thousand years out of it had been spent to preserve Money Body’s life and convert him into a dragon world king. So the will of Oceania only had 20,000 years left to use.

Since 20,000 years wasn’t enough, Money Body gave the will of Oceania all the world essence he had stored in his Cave Heaven. This helped him to continue building his Supreme Metac.

There should have been over 800,000 years’ worth of world essence. At least, that’s what he came to Oceania with after cashing in everything he owned.

But he had lost a fair bit of world essence during the fight with the dragon king. So he only had about 500,000 years’ worth of world essence.

In the past, 500,000 years’ worth of lifespan would have been more than enough for anything he wanted to do. But right now, he wasn’t sure if it would be enough.

The will of Oceania had a conversion rate of 100% for world essence. So the entirety of the 500,000 years’ worth of lifespan would be put to use. But it might not be enough because the efficiency of the Supreme Metac was abysmal.

A rank 6 component needed 100,000 years to advance to rank 7 and fix the problem of the lack of a Divine Position. Then, for it to advance to rank 8 without the deficiency of a Divine Position, it needed 1,000,000 years of lifespan.

With only 500,000 years of lifespan, Money Body could only raise the five rank 6 symbols of authority to rank 7. This increased the completion rate of the Supreme Metac from 44.81% to 51.11%.

So it was a meagre increase of 6.25%. Even when Money Body made some changes to the arrangement of the components in the Supreme Metac to maximize the impact of the increase in the size of the five rank 6 components, he could only raise this to 6.72%.

The increase from 6.25% to 6.72% was not nearly enough to fix his problem. It only made the completion rate of the Supreme Metac improve to 51.53%.

Loki saw through the Power Identification Ability that the increase should have been 7.8125%. It was only 6.72% because Money Body’s utilization rate fell to 86%.

After thinking about it, Loki shook his head inward and thought, ’Even if he got a 100% utilization out of it, the increase would be a drop in the bucket. The efficiency rate is simply preposterous.’

’500,000 years for an increase of 7,8125%, that’s an efficiency of 0.0016%. What is that if not preposterous?’

Money Body couldn’t tell the specifics, but he knew clearly that he was still a long way to go to reach 100%. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any more lifespan to burn. This made him dejected.

In his dejection, Money Body sighed and said, "I have failed. It seems this is the end for me. If I had known that this would happen, I might not have pushed Oceania so far."
