THE GOD EATER

He can only see how many Divine Positions a pathway has based on the number of stars in the divine constellation that he can see. He can’t tell how many divine beings the Divine Positions have from the way the stars appear.

However, he knows that the number of Divine Positions doesn’t equal the number of divine beings because a divine being can have more than one Divine Position, and some Divine Positions can be empty because the divine being that used to be there is permanently dead or temporarily absent.

This is why he can’t tell exactly how strong a pathway is. But generally, he can tell that the people of the Nexus of Truth sect aren’t doing so well because they have the least amount of divine position.

He found this to be counterintuitive since the Nexus of Truth sect is the only one out of the five sects that actively helps its disciples to become divine beings.

From what he has heard, the Nexus of Truth Sect allows its disciples to acquire rank 6 Dao Status, which gives them an advantage in advancing to rank 6. So he didn’t expect the Nexus of Truth Sect to have the fewest number of Divine Positions.

When he thought about it, he shook his head and said to himself, ’I thought for sure that the Sword Way Sect would have the fewest Divine Positions. After all, they are the youngest sect.’

’Could the reason the Nexus of Truth Sect helps their disciples advance to rank 6 be a temporary tactic to make up for their deficit, and what I am seeing is the result of their effort? If this is true, then it is only a matter of time before they catch up.’

`Or could it be a long-standing effort that hasn’t borne much fruit because becoming a divine being in the Nexus of Truth sect is very difficult and nearly impossible without the assistance of the sect? This is the reason, then they are unlikely to catch up even though they are helping their disciples ascend.’

’Either way, this makes me wonder why the other sects aren’t helping their disciples ascend to rank 6. After all, it should benefit the sect to have more Divine Positions and more divine beings.’

Then he smiled as he thought, saying, ’It doesn’t concern me anyway. I don’t need anyone’s help right now to become a divine being.’

’Becoming a divine being is certain for me. Then I will get to know if eating another kind of Divine Position will help Fenrir advance or if I can only advance by eating a rank 7 Divine Position.’

He is looking forward to advancing to rank 6, even though he is already a rank 6 divine being for many reasons. There are many benefits of becoming a divine being of the Blessed Heaven World, of which the two most important ones are gaining access to the divine constellation and being supplied with an infinite amount of life energy.

However, aside from these two reasons, he also has his personal reasons for looking forward to the creation of the new Divine Position for the Soul Hammer Metac. One of these reasons is getting a clean slate free of problematic attachments.

A new divine position should have very few enemies, but this benefit is not as good as the potential of the new Divine Position helping Fenrir grow stronger.

He had always eaten the Divine Position of the Gold Body Divine Metac, and Fenrir hadn’t gained any benefit after he ate it once. So this new Divine Position is the second Divine Position that Fenrir will get to eat, and he is looking forward to it.

The possible benefits of eating this new Divine Metac made his gaze become intense as he stared at the rising world heart. His eyes remained glued on the heart of the world, and he didn’t look away from it.

As he stared at it, he said to himself, ’If this works, I’ll create more Divine Positions and eat them.’

While he was planning what to eat and how to eat them, the heart of the world was accepted by the divine constellation and the Supreme Metac. Then the Supreme Metac proceeded to change the world heart into a Divine Position.

The actions of the Supreme Metac caused the multicolored rock that was shining with rainbow light to change into a golden crystal rock that was shining with golden light. This meant that the process of creating the new Divine Position was now complete, and the rest was up to him.

At this point, the world was excited that it had gained a new Divine Position. This excitement caused the world to hum and vibrate with excitement. The vibration could be sensed by everyone in the Blessed Heaven World.

The intense vibrations of excitement of the world drew everyone’s attention to what was going on. Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at the source of the excitement. What they saw was a pillar of golden light shining in the Central Domain.

Meanwhile, Loki had activated the Soul Hammer and let it resonate with the new Divine Position. The Divine Position responded, which caused the golden light that was shining around him to intensify.

In the third dimension, his Cave Heaven rose up to the divine constellation to meet the new Divine Position, but in the first dimension, a golden star had fallen from the sky towards him.

When the golden star in the first dimension touched his head, his Cave Heaven in the third dimension had also touched the new Divine Position. In both cases, the Divine Position entered the core of his Cave Heaven and began to fuse with the Soul Hammer Metac.

The two of them will fuse to ignite his Life Fire. If the conditions are right, he will then ascend to become a divine being. If the conditions aren’t right, the Life Fire will consume all of his lifespan and destroy him completely with no chance of resurrection or reincarnation.
