These 121,000 Branch Metacs had provided a whopping 261,000 units of law fragments over the course of three months. A divine being with a Life Fire with a conversion efficiency of 8.26% would only be able to get 21,550 units of law fragments out of the 261,000 total available law fragments.

Most of these had been earned by him in the first month of raiding the world of Branch Metacs. He earned more than half in the first month. Then his earnings went downhill from that point.

He projected the black forcefield into the black sea and used it to scoop the souls in it. But the black forcefield didn’t grab anything. In fact, instead of devouring souls, the black forcefield became faint and began to flicker like a candle in the wind. Loki also lost several years of his lifespan and nearly ten thousand law fragments in one second.

This outcome made his eyes pop out in shock. He also quickly deactivated the Devouring Ability. Finally, just to be sure, he rose higher in a bid to put more distance between him and the black sea.
