Chapter 424: 200 Or 180.

In the previous timeline, he had only managed to take back 9% of the vessels of Fenrir that he released. This 9% was enough to bring his Power Core Stat from 10 to 28 units, which is an increase of 18 units.

With a ratio of 1 vessel to 2 units of power, if the remaining 91 vessels adhere to this ratio, he should have acquired 182 units more of power. So he should have acquired a total of 200 units in the previous timeline, but he was stopped short.

The more he thought about it, the more he wanted to follow his instincts and take a bite out of that divine being. He can already picture how juicy the divine being will taste when he tears into their body with his teeth and blood scatters everywhere.

Until he can ensure his ability to escape and commit suicide, he doesn’t plan to confront a divine being. So, for now, he plans to take the loss when a divine being appears.

However, he doesn’t think he will have to wait for much longer before he can tussle with a divine being. As he thought of when he would be able to tussle with a divine being, he said to himself, ’It should be very soon. At most, I will be ready in six rewinds and timelines.’

Six reversals of time is how long it should take for him to reach a Power Core Stat of 900 units. That is, of course, if he is allowed to retrieve all of the vessels of Fenrir that he releases.

He was thinking about this as he went about getting things done. A few minutes later, the city went into an uproar because some beasts were attacking the city.

Very soon, the city became full of the cries of people as they ran around for their lives. There was even a stampede of people. It made it easier for Fenrir to eat because people were falling over each other.

Despite how good everything was turning out to be, Loki decided to call things quits when the rank 4 busybodies began showing up. Before the rank 5 cultivators arrived, he was already packing up.

The rank 5 cultivators still arrived, though. But because he had already stopped attacking, they didn’t have the opportunity to threaten him to stop.

However, the rank 5 cultivator still found what he was doing interesting and still told the divine being about it. So the divine being came a few seconds later to see what Loki was up to.

Loki had finished earlier, but he stayed behind because he wanted to have a good look at this nosy divine being. So when the divine being appeared, he was the one doing the glaring.

As soon as Loki entered the River of Time and went uphill a little bit, he stopped going forward and dropped out of the River of Time. He did this quickly so that he would be able to come out of the River of Time quickly and only reverse a short amount of time.

Apparently, what he did worked because when he came to, he found himself just at the edge of the city, about to start releasing vessels for Fenrir to run rampant throughout the city.

He also didn’t feel any need to vomit. There was only a slight discomfort in his Power Core as his Mental World updated it with power that he brought back from the future.

This made him say to himself, ’I might be right to suspect the complete lack of a Mental World and a Power as the source of the nausea and dizziness in my body after reversing time. If I am right, then I shouldn’t experience that unpleasant feeling anymore as long as I don’t reverse time up to the point when I just awakened.’

Then he looked around with a strange gaze and smiled before saying, “It is time for Another Round.”

With his mind made up, he let the white tumor growing on his skin fall to the ground. Then he walked a distance of 50 meters before he let another tumor drop to the ground.

While he was walking around, the tumors grew and turned into cute puppies. But these adorable puppies opened their mouths to reveal colorful teeth before they unleashed hell on earth.

Just like last time, Loki finished harvesting the city for resources before the two rank 5 cultivators came around. This meant that he was not interrupted by a divine being, but it also meant that this round of feeding could only provide 180 units of power from Fenrir.

He doesn’t know how much the first round could have provided because he never got to retrieve the vessels of Fenrir after the golden divine being interrupted him, but he knows what the second round of feeding could have provided.

The second round of feeding could have provided 200 units in total, but he could only get 18 units from it due to an interruption. However, because he stopped the vessels from feeding much earlier, they could only provide up to 180 units.
