Chapter 1332: I And Me Vs We And Us.

"A Gemini? Who are you, and why did you do this to me?" the two minds asked at the same time.

In response, the guardian chuckled and said, "Oh, don’t play dumb with me. I know you know me. I also know that this isn’t the first time we’ve met."

"I know all of these because I can read it from your mind. Plus, we know for sure that you’ve been reversing time to your advantage. By we, I mean the Gemini race, which you’re a part of now."

"It took us a while to notice what you were doing because you were only changing a few months or weeks at a time. Either you were being cautious, or you were too weak to change that much at a time. Either way, we noticed and have dealt with you.

"But why turn me into a Gemini?" one mind asked.

The other mind added, "Why not kill me or enslave me directly?"

The guardian replied with a question, saying, "Why kill you when we can use you?"

"Killing you would be a waste of our resources. We can’t have spent so much time and energy to find you only to kill you. The best way is to turn you into a Gemini and make you work for the Gemini race."

"In a way, you’ve been enslaved. Every Gemini is a slave to the god king and won’t regain their freedom until they become gods. That’s the normal route, but not for you. You’re different after all."

"What will you do to me?" Loki asked, his heart sinking.

His other mind said, "Will you enslave me forever?"

He didn’t expect an answer, but the guardian didn’t seem to mind and said directly, "You will wish for eternal enslavement when the godking is done with you."

They chuckled as they said, "You’re a special case whom the godking has great plans for. When you’ve perfected that Devouring Supreme Metac of yours and unlocked it for limitless growth, you will be subsumed and absorbed by the godking."

"Why are you telling us all of these?"

"Are you not worried that we will run away or kill myself?"

The guardian snorted and said, "Of course, I am not worried because you can’t run away or kill yourself."

"Instructions have already been implanted into you to prevent disobedience. But even if you manage to run away, we can always find you."

"As for killing yourself, you will find that it has become impossible to do. I mean, it is difficult for someone else to kill you, but it is now impossible for you to kill yourself,’ they said with a smirk.

"If you don’t believe me, go ahead and try to shatter your godheads. You’ll see that you can’t even form the instructions in your mind."

Loki immediately tried to kill himself. His godheads and Supreme Metacs were the foundation of his life, and he should be able to shatter them to commit suicide. But no matter how he tried, he couldn’t form the intention to commit suicide in his mind.

The other mind also couldn’t destroy the Creation Supreme Metac and commit suicide. Only the mind within the spark of power could still form the thought and instruct the godheads to shatter.

The black Loki in control of the Devouring Supreme Metac grabbed his head and said, "What have you done to us? Get out of our heads."

The white Loki also said, "You can’t control us forever. We will surely find a way to kill ourselves."

In response, the guardian rolled his unseen eyes and said, "Go ahead and try as much as you want."

"We’ve spent tens of thousands of years since the creation of the Gemini race enslaving various races across the universe. No one has been able to escape."

"Do you know why? Because the one enslaving you is the god king. The gap between you and the god king is similar to the gap between you and the Dao Source, the source of all of the power of a pathway in the universe."

"You have a better chance of destroying the entire Sea of Worlds than escaping from the control of the god king. Even we normal Geminis who eventually regain our freedom do so because we received permission from the god king."

"If the god king didn’t let us go, we would never become gods or gain freedom. And even after gaining our freedom, we still work for the god king. So what can you do?"

They sneered as they said, "If you can escape from the god king’s control, you will only be worth more and will be hunted to the ends of all of reality."

"But don’t count on it. Even reversing time like you were doing wouldn’t help you escape. Now that you’re a Gemini, you can never escape from the god king.’

After hearing how difficult it would be to escape, black Loki gritted his teeth and said, "In that case, we won’t grow stronger."

White Loki nodded and said, "They will have to kill us or watch us remain useless."

The guardian began clapping. As they clapped, they said, "Your determination is commendable."

He didn’t notice he was now referring to himself as "us." But the guardian noticed and smiled, amused.

As they smiled, they shook their head and said, "Unfortunately, it won’t work. Instructions have also been implanted to force you to grow stronger whenever you have the opportunity to do so."

"I’m telling you, you won’t be the first stubborn person who’s been transformed into a Gemini, and you won’t be the last. Your very identity has been changed so much that you will serve the Gemini Race even if you don’t want to."

Both Lokis became despondent after they heard these words. They fell to the ground on the verge of a mental collapse.

"Kill me now," white Loki said.

Black Loki also pleaded, saying, "Please, kill us."

Instead of killing them, the guardian said dismissively, "You will get used to your situation soon enough."
