Chapter 1265: Fusing Things.

He had the idea to try fusing things with Supreme Metacs, and since he had nothing to lose, he decided to go for it.

So he didn’t remove the Apostle Enslavement Supreme. Instead, he used the spark of power to fuse the Root of Power with it.

The fusion produced the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac. The only difference between this Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac and the earlier one was that it now contained a Root of Power Metac inside it.

Chuckling, he said, "I don’t know what I expected to achieve with this."

Actually, he did know what he expected. And not getting what he wanted now wasn’t enough to discourage him. Coincidentally, the Freedom Supreme Metac had just finished its work, giving him the opportunity he needed to test his hypothesis.

Since fusing a Supreme Metac and a Divine Metac didn’t produce any game-changing result, he decided to up the ante. To do that, he took the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac and used the spark of power to press it onto the Freedom Supreme Metac.

He sacrificed the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac to the Freedom Supreme Metac. The result was essentially nothing.

The Apostle Supreme Metac was destroyed, scattering into commonality and law fragments. But the Freedom Supreme Metac remained unchanged.

’Another one,’ he thought unwillingly as he produced another Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac.

He stuffed the newly made Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac into Fenrir. Then he initiated another fusion.

This time, he chose to sacrifice the Freedom Supreme Metac to the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac. As a result, the outcome was different.

The fusion shattered the Freedom Supreme Metac into commonality and law fragments. Then the 19 units of commonality and law fragments went into the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac, fusing with it.

By the time the fusion was done, there was one Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac, 15 leftover units of commonality, and some law fragments. The missing 4 units of commonality had gone into the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac to upgrade it to a Cosmic Dao.

’I fucking knew it,’ he thought, his eyes shining and his mouth splitting into an ear-to-ear grin.

He said that, but even he found the result hard to believe. So he tried to replicate the process to make sure that this hadn’t been a fluke or coincidence.

He used the spark of power to create the Devouring Body Supreme Metac. After that, he also created the Domination Supreme Metac. Then he sacrificed the Devouring Body Supreme Metac to the Domination Supreme Metac.

This time, he performed the fusion outside Fenrir. But it didn’t work. The two pushed against each other, trying to crush each other.

Before they could crush each other, he stopped pressing them together. Then he activated the Devouring Ability and used it to swallow the two Supreme Metacs.

After securing them within Fenrir, he fused them again. This time, the fusion worked. The result was the Domination Supreme Metac, now a Cosmic Dao, and 11 units of commonality leftover from the Devouring Body Supreme Metac.

With his hypothesis confirmed as a fact, he couldn’t help but say, ’The spark of power is the best.’

The Freedom Supreme Metac and the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac were still in the spark of power. But the Freedom Supreme Metac was a Cosmic Dao, while the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac was a Grand Dao.

He decided to fix that discrepancy immediately, so he extracted the newly upgraded Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac from Fenrir. Then he sent it through his Divine Spark into the spark.

After the upgraded version fused with the spark of power, the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac within also changed to a Cosmic Dao. As a result, the 4-D prototype gained 4 more units of commonality, expanding its size.

He also fused the upgraded Domination Supreme Metac with the spark of power, adding 4 more units of commonality to the 4-D prototype.

’Now the Apostle Enslavement Supreme and the Domination Supreme Metac have joined the ranks of Cosmic Daos. But this is just the start,’ he thought, still grinning.

He had 65 Supreme Metacs a few hours ago, but thanks to the addition of the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac, it became 66. Of those 66, 10 were now Cosmic Daos. That left 56 Supreme Metacs that needed a touch-up, so to speak.

To produce Supreme Metacs with the spark of power, a single unit of commonality in a Supreme Metac would cost 100,000 years of lifespan to produce. Plus, every 1 unit of space within a Supreme Metac that needed solidifying with lifespan would cost another 100,000 years of lifespan.

Therefore, a Cosmic Dao with 19 units of commonality and 81 units of space would cost 10 million years of lifespan to produce. A Grand Dao with 15 units of commonality and 49 units of space would cost 6.4 million years of lifespan.

Finally, a Major Dao with 11 units of commonality and 25 units of space would cost 3.6 million years of lifespan. In comparison, a Minor Dao with 7 units of commonality and 9 units of space would cost 1.6 million years of lifespan.

Based on this, fusing the Apostle Enslavement Supreme Metac and the Freedom Supreme Metac cost him 16.4 million years of lifespan. Yet 56 more fusions remained to be completed. One could imagine the cost.
