He was also thinking about creating his Divine Army. Then there was also the matter of expanding his Domain to many worlds.

Clearly, he had a lot that needed to be done. But he didn’t stop the two things his true body was doing for something else.

He didn’t stop pursuing the conversion efficiency for obvious reasons. Because he was now 27 times faster, in 8.3 hours, he would reach 9% conversion efficiency, and in 16.6 hours, he would reach 10% efficiency, and his life would change for the better. So he couldn’t stop it.

He also didn’t stop trying to create more Supreme Metacs, but it was mostly because he didn’t know what else to do that could set his Sect apart.

In fact, he was racking his brain trying to come up with a method that only he could use that would make the Olympic Sect the indisputable best choice for a mortal. So far, it was more difficult to do since the Gemini race, as a whole, had become a potential competitor.

’I mean, what if I work hard and they just copy it as they did for the Domain Power System? How can I make sure that they don’t have a way to copy it?’ he asked, frowning.

The reality of the situation was that there was no way for him to prepare for that possibility. He didn’t know what the Gemini race was capable of, so he could only keep trying with no assurance.

After a few hours of working on the problem, he finally got his first idea. It was also a powerful idea that had the potential to render other pathways useless as a choice for mortals.

’What if I can help mortals use Metacs from different pathways?’ he asked himself.

The ability to use Metacs from different pathways was his main advantage as both a mortal and a divine being. He felt that if his disciples could do something like that, the Olympic Sect would be the greatest sect ever.

He thought so highly of this idea that he set aside creating more Supreme Metacs to work on it. The goal was to make something like Fenrir for mortals using the Devouring Body Metac as a template.

After working on this idea for 32 minutes, he said, "That was 32 minutes of my time I will never get back."

As it turned out, it was impossible to help mortals use Metacs of different pathways. At least, he couldn’t help them do it without the spark of power.

Actually, he wasn’t surprised by this outcome, as even Dao Lords can’t use Metacs of other pathways in another Supreme Metac. He just wanted to see if he could help others do it by substituting Fenrir in place of the spark of power.

He thought that since Fenrir could use Metacs of different pathways, it should be possible to create a weakened version for Fenrir to use. But he was given a rude awakening when he discovered that Fenrir wasn’t really using Metacs of different pathways.

Apparently, what Fenrir was doing was taking a Metac from a different pathway and converting it into a Metac of the Devouring Pathway. So he was actually using Metacs of the Devouring Pathway, not Metacs of other pathways as he thought.

The two looked similar but weren’t the same because one would need to have sufficient mastery of the Devouring Pathway and the other pathway before they could convert any Metac to the Devouring Pathway.

Plus, the conversion is never perfect. During the conversion, the Metac in question is likely to be maimed, disfigured, and stunted.

Most of the time, the conversion was likely to fail. And lastly, after the conversion, the Metac would definitely be worse than the original. It would be weaker and less efficient with energy usage.

When he realized this, he smiled and thought, ’Apparently, the Devouring Body Metac are the best I can do to help mortals use a variety of elements.’

’I guess I have the spark of power to thank for being able to dabble in different pathways without having to deal with these problems.’

’But this also makes me wonder. How did the spark of power upgrade the Devouring Supreme Metac to a Cosmic Dao anyway?’

’I have created so many Supreme Metacs, but only the Devouring Supreme Metac and Freedom Supreme Metac were upgraded to Cosmic Dao. What are the requirements to make the upgrade?’

To answer this question, he thought back to what the guardian had said about needing immense comprehension to make the upgrade. He also remembered how the guardian had said less than a hundred people have managed to do so in the universe.

This made him frown as he thought, ’It couldn’t have been because of some super-level intelligence, right? I’m okay, but I am not a genius.’

Shaking his head, he thought, ’I know I am not ultra-intelligent. So the reason has to be something else. It has to have something to do with the spark of power.’

’I can call it a fluke that the Devouring Supreme Metac was upgraded. But the Freedom Metac was also upgraded, so there must be something fishy going on.’

He couldn’t figure it out, so he returned to trying to make his sect great. Since even with Fenrir, it was a pipe dream to use Metacs of different pathways as easily as he could, he had to lower his expectations to something more achievable.

After lowering his expectations, he remembered the Devouring Abyss Supreme Metac, which could swallow attacks, objects, and people for safekeeping to be used later. But he didn’t think it was worth giving up one spot in the Devouring Supreme Metac just for a slight advantage.

’If I must reduce the speed of gaining conversion efficiency for my disciples, it must be for a game changer on the level of the Root of Life Metac and the Domain System Metac, not for something that isn’t powerful and can be easily copied by other sects,’ he thought, shaking his head.
