Chapter 1464: Chapter 941: End of the Hunt

For several consecutive days, the predator repeatedly triggered those annoying harassment traps on the perimeter.

The horror of spikes suddenly springing from underfoot, the sharp pain of a snare snapping shut beside the leg.

Though causing only insignificant superficial wounds, it ignited the overwhelming, uncontrollable primal rage within its chest.

The deafening crash of weights smashing to the ground... these crude and irritating provocations were like gasoline on a fire, driving it into a hysterical frenzy.

It frantically tore at the trap remnants, its thunderous roar filled with a desire for destruction nearly overturned the entire forest, startling countless birds.

At the peak of its fury, its extraordinarily keen sense of smell precisely caught the exceptionally delicious and enticing aroma emanating from the specially prepared wild boar.

A prey so obvious, vivid, and audaciously trespassing into its realm of rage, leaving marks of taunting!

The flames of vengeance instantly found an outlet, and it pursued that clearly identifiable scent without hesitation.

It easily discovered the wild boar that had been deliberately driven by Legolas, whose movements were thus slightly awkward and lethargic.

Mouth wide open, with a cruel satisfaction, it swallowed the boar whole.

Mixed with frenzied anger and the fleeting sense of satiety, the lethal paralyzing toxin silently began to spread and permeate its steel-like robust body...

After feasting, the predator carried an almost imperceptible lethargy and weariness, and the initial effects of the paralyzing toxin began to show.

With the roaring fire of anger yet to dissipate from its chest, it set out on the familiar return path to its lair.

As it reached the relatively flat clearing before its den, its vigilance instinctively—also fatally—slightly relaxed due to "home’s" proximity.

In this fleeting, invaluable moment.

Snap! Sizzle—!

Several extremely tough steel cables coiled like venomous snakes lurking in the shadows, suddenly wrapped around and tightly constricted its slender ankle joints of the left forelimb and right hindlimb.

The sudden sense of restraint filled it with shock and rage, a wave of offended humiliation instantly drowning out reason.

"Roar, roar, roar, roar—!"

Emitting a terrifying roar filled with pain and fury, enough to break eardrums, its massive body instinctively erupted with earth-shattering power, struggling furiously to dash forward, attempting to break free from this hateful restraint.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The heavy timber piles hung in the shadows overhead fell with a thunderous crash like siege hammers!

Amidst the tearing air, suffocating pressure of destruction!

The predator’s reflexes remained astonishingly quick, its tail as thick as a siege hammer erupted with a piercing sonic boom as it swept out with immense force.

Wildly and accurately smashing most of the descending timber piles into pieces mid-air, for a moment, chips flew like a sudden rain shower.

It’s now!

Amid flying chips like a snow curtain temporarily blocking sight, in that fleeting deadly gap where the monster’s tail old force was exhausted and new force was yet to be born.

The meticulously arranged, pent-up thousand-pound sharp-edged boulder descended like a hammer of accumulated wrath from the mountain gods, rolling from the steep rockface shadow above.

Carrying the force of thunderbolts, with the momentum of a landslide, striking squarely and heavily on the side of the predator’s head raised in pain and struggle.

Thud!!!!

A dull crash echoing loud enough to stop hearts, shake souls, and seemingly resonate with bones erupted suddenly.

"Roar, roar, roar—!"

The steel predator emitted a scream of extreme anguish and shock, as though from the Abyss.

Its mammoth body was knocked back violently, the head uncontrollably lurching sharply to one side.

The tough Scale Armor shattered like broken pottery, dark red, viscous blood instantly gushing from ear and nose like a spring.

A torrential wave of dizziness and excruciating pain swept through its formidable yet Fragile nervous system.

At the same millisecond as the boulder struck and the monster’s disorientated screech, Legolas moved.

"Opportunity!"

He roared inwardly, with eyes sharp as an eagle.

Everything he had done was for this fleeting, rare opportunity.

He flashed out from behind a giant tree like a ghost, less than forty paces away, his figure swift enough to leave only a blur.

The Forest Longbow already pulled to a full moon emitted a deep, powerful hum.

The Soul-Seeking Arrow, distilled with all artistry, hope, and lethal venom, transformed into a deadly black streak, slicing through the air with a piercing whistle.

This strike had been prepared for so long, infused with the hunter’s lifelong pursuit.

But this strike seemed beyond the capacity of a Level Three body. This arrow appeared to be infused with something?

Was it a belief transcending limits? Or the more profound Power of the Hunting Arrow Rule?

Squelch!

A teeth-chattering, hair-raising sound of penetration.

The Arrow precisely pierced the predator’s left eye which hadn’t fully closed due to pain and dizziness.

The custom-made slender arrowhead, with blood-letting spiral grooves, under the influence of mixed venom, burrowed deep into its eye socket like red-hot iron, directly targeting its brain.

Roaring! Roar, roar, roar—!!!

The indescribable cry, mingling extreme agony, fury, and desperate madness, shattered the valley’s silence and echoed through the clouds.
