Chapter 314: Chapter 314

Gao Tianqi didn’t just want revenge on Chenyang; he wanted it on his wife, An Xiaoqing, as well.

His chat with Chenyang just now wasn’t because he was magnanimous, nor was it because he liked to reason with people, as he’d claimed. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

He was simply trying to stall for time, waiting for An Xiaoqing to arrive.

According to his original plan, he was going to wait for An Xiaoqing to get here before having Brother Hu and his men reveal themselves.

Then, right in front of An Xiaoqing, he would have Chenyang beaten to a pulp. He wanted her to see Chenyang’s pathetic state as he begged for mercy, to make An Xiaoqing understand just how worthless the man she had an affair with truly was.

After getting his revenge on Chenyang, he would then teach An Xiaoqing a harsh lesson right in front of him. A beating was definitely in order; there was no other way for Gao Tianqi to vent the rage in his heart.

But he wasn’t planning to just hit her. He also fantasized about training and ravaging her like a bitch, all while Chenyang was forced to watch.

The reason for this was his belief that since Chenyang dared to have an affair with An Xiaoqing, he must be quite fond of her.

By brutally fucking the woman he liked right in front of him, he could make Chenyang taste what it was like to be cuckolded.

At the same time, while she was being ravaged, it would also teach An Xiaoqing never to cross Gao Tianqi again.

Venting his anger with his fists, venting his lust with his dick, and reclaiming his pride and dignity all at once—in Gao Tianqi’s mind, this was the perfect form of revenge.

Although the plan had changed slightly, it wouldn’t affect the outcome too much.

It just meant that instead of getting beaten once, Chenyang would now get an extra beating before An Xiaoqing arrived.

Based on his calculations, An Xiaoqing would arrive in three to five minutes at most.

Gao Tianqi figured, ’One minute is all Brother Hu and his men need to deal with Chenyang.’

The remaining time would be for Chenyang to lie there crying for his mommy and daddy. Then they could have a smoke, take a break, and right when An Xiaoqing arrived, round two would begin.

Lost in his fantasies, Gao Tianqi stood by the pavilion, smoking a cigarette and settling in to watch the show.

Meanwhile, Brother Hu’s men used the opportunity to surround Chenyang.

Brother Hu, sitting on the stone table, looked down on him disdainfully. "Before we start, a word of advice for you!"

"Oh?" Chenyang raised an eyebrow, wondering what Brother Hu could possibly have to say at a time like this.

"Listen up. In this world, you need capital to be arrogant. If you have the backing to be arrogant, you’re the man! But if you’re arrogant without any backing, you’ll get beaten into a little bitch!"

"Lesson learned," Chenyang said with a laugh. "Since you were kind enough to share that piece of wisdom, let me offer you a kind word in return."

"You’re about to get beaten into a little bitch. What makes you think you’re qualified to give our Brother Hu advice?" one of the lackeys sneered.

Chenyang glanced at him. "I’m not giving advice. I’m just kindly offering a warning."

"Are you fucking crazy? You want to warn me..."

"Let him talk," Brother Hu interrupted his man.

Chenyang smiled. "I know Ji Xiaoyu. If you leave now, I can, for his sake, overlook your earlier rudeness."

"Heh, trying to scare us by dropping names, are you?"

"Not scaring. Warning."

"Warning my ass! If you’re gonna fucking try to scare us by dropping names, at least pick someone impressive! This Ji Xiaoyu you’re talking about—who the hell is he? Where’s he from? Is he a butcher on the corner, or a street sweeper?"

"HAHAHA, ’Little Fish’? Well, I’m ’Big Shrimp’ then!"

All the lackeys burst into scornful laughter. Seeing them laugh, Gao Tianqi laughed along, taunting, "A broke-ass loser through and through. Even your attempts to fight back are pathetic. If you’re going to try and ride someone’s coattails, at least pick a big shot everyone actually knows. What good is dropping some nobody’s name?"

"None of you know Ji Xiaoyu?" Chenyang took a slow drag from his cigar, then stood up. "Well, if you don’t know him, then I don’t need to give him any face. Go on. You can make your move now."

"Since you’re asking for a death wish, we’ll grant it!"

"Get him, boys! First, let’s smash that posturing mouth of his!"

"Wait!"

Just as the lackeys were shouting and about to make their move, Brother Hu, who had been silent until now, suddenly stopped them. He pushed aside a man in front of him, his expression grim. "You really know Ji Xiaoyu?"

Chenyang shrugged. "Would I be able to say his name if I didn’t?"

"Just knowing a name doesn’t count. You have to actually be familiar with each other." Brother Hu asked in a low voice, "Ji Xiaoyu has a little-known nickname. Do you know what it is?!"
