Chapter 92: Chapter 92: Arriving Soon at Greenfield Star, Passengers Please Prepare
Liang He softly reminded him that the elevator doors were about to close. Seeing him remain motionless, she didn’t press the matter further. Instead, she waited for the doors to shut before pressing her floor button.
Watching her figure gradually disappear before him, a trace of longing flashed in Elias’s eyes. He actually wanted to acknowledge Liang He, but was afraid of scaring her. Ultimately, he could only swallow all his words and remain silent.
"Sir, what a coincidence. We meet again." As soon as she entered the dining hall, Liang He had spotted the old gentleman feeding the Dwarf Marmoset.
"Yes! I’ve always been curious about Blue Star’s delicacies, so since I have the opportunity to enjoy them this time, I want to try as much as possible."
Hearing this, Liang He enthusiastically recommended a few more dishes to the old gentleman. After exchanging friendly greetings, she found a relatively spacious seat and ordered food for herself, Hoder, and the Platinum Giant Lion. By the time Hoder finished his work and arrived at the dining hall, he would be just in time to enjoy a hot meal.
"ROAR!"
The Platinum Giant Lion stared at the yogurt in Liang He’s hand. Out of curiosity, he leaned in to sniff it, then rubbed against her hand, wanting a taste.
"Do you want some yogurt?" Holding up the cup, Liang He noticed the Platinum Giant Lion’s green eyes tracking her hand. She smiled and poured a little into his empty plate. "Try it first. If you like it, I’ll pour you some more."
Following the principle of not wasting food, Liang He only let him have a taste to confirm whether the Platinum Giant Lion would actually drink yogurt. Unexpectedly, with a light lick from the Platinum Giant Lion, the pitifully small amount of yogurt on the plate vanished instantly. He smacked his lips, as if savoring the taste.
"ROAR!" It was too little; he wanted more.
"Okay, okay, I’ll pour you some right now." Seeing the adorable way the Platinum Giant Lion acted spoiled for yogurt, Liang He didn’t think twice and poured all the yogurt she had originally planned to drink into his plate. It was her first time seeing a lion that loved yogurt. So, even though she doted on him, she only poured an appropriate amount—just enough for a taste, as there was no need for him to drink too much.
"ROAR?"
Perhaps noticing Liang He’s empty yogurt cup, the Platinum Giant Lion looked at his own plate in confusion, then glanced up at her. After two seconds of hesitation, he pushed the plate toward her.
"ROAR!" He wanted her to drink it!
Faced with the Platinum Giant Lion’s sharing, Liang He was somewhat surprised. It wasn’t that he had been stingy before, but rather that yogurt was a delicious treat he had never tasted until now. Even though it was his first time having it and the portion was small, he was still willing to wrong himself and offer it to Liang He. This was what surprised her.
"Cyril is such a good boy. I’ve already had some; this is all yours." How could Liang He bear to snatch yogurt from such an obedient and sensible little lion? Of course, she had to coax him.
Hearing this, although the Platinum Giant Lion didn’t understand the words, he saw Liang He push the plate back to him. He stopped hesitating and began to fully enjoy the delicious yogurt.
"Sir, we’ll be disembarking the Starship soon. Have a pleasant journey, and I hope we meet again."
After the Platinum Giant Lion licked the yogurt from his plate clean, Liang He and Hoder also finished their meal. Before preparing to leave, she specifically went to bid the old gentleman farewell.
"Alright. Perhaps we’ll meet again very soon. Good luck to you, lovely young lady." The old gentleman waved goodbye to Liang He. The Dwarf Marmoset perched on his shoulder mimicked him, waving its little hand in an incredibly adorable manner.
Liang He and Hoder brought the Platinum Giant Lion back to their luxury cabin, only to find that the passenger who had lost his clothes was still arguing with the space police.
"Captain, I found an unoccupied luxury cabin with signs of use."
Seeming to have made a new discovery, several space police officers and the passenger who lost his clothes hurried over to check. Liang He and Hoder exchanged a glance, realizing that the luxury cabin in question was right next door to theirs. However, there was no time to dwell on it. The Starship would be docking at Greenfield Star in just over half an hour, so they needed to hurry up and pack their luggage to prepare for departure.
Meanwhile, the incident of Liang He and the Platinum Giant Lion suddenly appearing on the Starship had fermented overnight and climbed onto the trending searches of the Star Network.
[Oh my god! It really is my goddess! Even in such terrible image quality, her beauty is still stunning!]
Ever since Liang He revealed her face, she had gained a group of die-hard fans for her looks on the Star Network. Her appearance was undeniably outstanding. Even if anti-fans existed, most people still acknowledged her beauty, although she herself didn’t think so.
[Cyril actually performed jumping through hoops in public just to win a smile from the beauty. It truly is a deep love!]
[Haha, I think the Platinum Giant Lion just loves to play. Didn’t you see how dark the Fur Raising Officer’s expression got?]
[I was there at the scene! As far as I know, the Breeder was going on a business trip, but the Platinum Giant Lion couldn’t bear to part with her, so he sneaked onto the Starship!]
Regarding the Platinum Giant Lion sneaking out of the reserve, the King and Queen of the Empire naturally found out immediately. They quickly ordered Eureka to prepare an emergency plan. They had Eureka communicate and coordinate with Greenfield Star to ensure that the Platinum Giant Lion could smoothly stay by her side without affecting Liang He’s itinerary.
"It’s true that a grown son can’t be kept at home. Just look at him, what kind of behavior is this?!" The King spoke with a tone of exasperation at his son’s failure to meet expectations, while the Queen beside him shot him an annoyed glare.
"What, is it shameful to chase after the person you like? If you thought it was shameful back then, you shouldn’t have chased me all over interstellar space!" Did he really have no idea who their son learned this from?
The Queen had also been a person who loved freedom and travel back in the day. If the King hadn’t pursued her so relentlessly and gradually moved her heart, she never would have stayed trapped in this forsaken place with him.
"Ahem, I’m just talking about our son, why are you bringing me into this?" Also recalling the past, the King smiled awkwardly and flatteringly at the Queen, deeply afraid that if she got upset, she would run away from home and go traveling.
Traveling was one thing, but she refused to take him along every time, finding him to be a burden. He felt truly wronged; he was clearly just a doting husband who couldn’t bear to leave his wife.
"However, his little stunt really caused a lot of trouble for Miss Liang He. The reserve will also have to pay out compensation for the startled passengers."
Cyril had just recently entered his Evolutionary Stage. He would need to stay in the reserve for at least three to five years. The King was worried that Huo An and the others would take issue with the disobedient Cyril. What if they decided to return him?
"If that’s the case, we can’t let the reserve pay this money. We have to take responsibility."
The Queen, who held the financial power, made the final decision to transfer the money to the reserve’s public account. The King raised both hands in agreement to this. Anything that could be solved with money was considered a trivial matter for an Empire.
"Your Majesties, the latest news has arrived from the Starship." Eureka stood outside the door, waiting for the King’s summons, and then reported the incident of the thief appearing on the Starship.
"It’s just a thief, why are you so concerned?" The King looked at Eureka in confusion. He knew Eureka was not someone who made a fuss over nothing, which was why he gave him the chance to continue explaining.
"The Starship initially thought it was just a common thief as well, but after investigating the surveillance footage, they found that this person is very likely..."
"Likely who?" The Queen’s curiosity was also piqued, and she couldn’t wait to know the answer.
Seeing this, Eureka didn’t keep them in suspense any longer. "According to the facial recognition comparison, the thief who stole the clothes is very likely the leader of the interstellar pirates—Elias."
