1320 Selecting the Candidate(7)
Chapter 1320: Selecting the Candidate(7)
Phily looked cautiously at the building and stopped there for a while. After a long pause, he took a deep breath and stepped forward.
Now that he had relinquished his throne, there was no question of hesitation any longer. He could only walk ahead, or the scene he saw in his dream might turn into reality.
Phily was also afraid of the store since he had no idea why that horrible dream came to him. It could also be because of the store, but one thing he was confident of was that he didn’t want that situation to occur in reality.
Phily belonged to the Glawkas race, a low-level race in the Demon group. As his story became popular, Phily was born in what used to be a different Kingdom. At that time, the Glawkas were a small race with only a few thousand members.
Phily’s efforts and hard work took him to where he stood and also to the glory of the Glawkas race by having a Kingdom for their members.
Phily finally stepped inside the store, and the view in front of him changed now that the array had stopped its restriction on him.
His eyes then fell on the blue-skinned man. He recognized the man as the store owner since before coming here, he had tried to find some information about the store from the city locals, and there was also the second reason that the blue-skinned man was the only person sitting on a chair in the entire store.
Phily also looked around and wasn’t much awed by the store’s insides. It wasn’t that he wasn’t impressed with the luxury, but the dream took a predominant position in his heart, making him unable to enjoy the scenery.
“Hello, store owner!” Phily respectfully greeted Aakesh. He could see that the cultivation of the store owner was lower than his own, but Phily didn’t believe it. He treated Aakesh as he would treat anyone of higher cultivation than him.

“I am Aakesh,” Aakesh simply replied in response to Phily’s introduction. He then waited for the man to ask about the store’s products.
Phily wanted to know about the store products since they would play a role in changing the scenes in the dream, but he believed the dream to be the primary focus.
“Senior Aakesh, I saw a dream…” Phily then shared the scenes he saw in his dream with Aakesh.
Aakesh could understand the reason behind Phily’s sharing the dream. Phily somewhat believed that it was primarily done by the store and the store owner to attract new customers.
“The dream you saw is an omen of the upcoming tragedy; as for why you saw the store, it is your fortune,” Aakesh simply responded, clearly not caring what he believed and thought.
It wasn’t the first time the store had come to dream of someone, but it had happened very rarely, and the number of customers who had seen it was less than ten.
Seeing the store in the dreams primarily meant that the person’s destiny was going for a wild ride, and the store would be able to help with it.
The most prominent customer who came to the store after the dream was a guy in the Primal Dimension. When Aakesh ascended, the man was a Tao Manifestation level cultivator, while starting at a low level in a poor family.
As for whether Phily would be able to have the same future, it depended on his work. He was the eighth customer in the long years of the store, and only two had succeeded. The remaining five weren’t dead but were like ordinary customers due to their arrogance in believing that fortune had favored them.
Aakesh didn’t tell Phily all of that since what would happen to Phily had nothing to do with him or the store.
Phily was surprised by Aakesh’s response since he believed that the store owner would try to deny the belief and make him understand he was wrong. Once Phily would come to know the identities of the store customers, he would laugh at himself for that moment.
He was taken aback by Aakesh’s response but even more so by the foreshadowing of the impending tragedy. Seeing omens wasn’t a rare situation since many top creatures would know beforehand about their deaths.
Even though he had already accepted the dream and come to the store, a wave of panic engulfed his heart when he heard it directly from the store owner.
Sigh!
“Store owner, tell me about the store’s products.”
Phily took a deep breath and requested. There were still hints of doubts in his heart regarding the store’s hand in the dream, but for some reason, his belief that the tragedy was sure to come had reached an extreme. Since he didn’t want that to happen, it was time for him to work hard and utilize the store to thwart that future.
“The store currently has six products. They are pills, weapons, beasts, cultivation arts, skills, and Panagea.
“There are three levels of pills available for the customers in the store: Lesser, Higher, and King…
“… These are the six products available in the store,” Aakesh concluded the introduction of the products with some basic details regarding each of them.
Phily was an intermediate True God level cultivator, so every product in the store was available for him; the only issue was money. Phily had found out that the products sold in the store were extremely expensive.
Once he had gotten all his answers, Phily requested Aakesh for entering Panagea, but was left disappointed when he learned that all the spots for the day had been booked.
Since Panagea was full, Phily decided to focus on the next product. Immediately, a name came to his mind, skills.
The scene of him being pinned to the throne by a spear piercing his heart was still fresh in his mind. He wanted a defensive skill so he wouldn’t have to face that future.
Phily then asked the questions regarding the product, and once he had obtained all his answers, he thanked Aakesh and walked toward the room.
