Chapter 2476: A Knight of the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom
Chapter 2476: A Knight of the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom
The Eternal Soul Realm—the Eighth Realm of Paradise.
In terms of size, it was roughly five percent smaller than the Dark Blood Realm, a consequence of the inverted pyramid structure that defined Paradise. But that was where its disadvantages ended.
In every other aspect, the Eternal Soul Realm was superior.
Its energy density was higher. Its natural laws were more refined. Its phenomena were richer and more stable. Even the very fabric of space seemed more resilient, more alive, as if reality itself possessed a deeper foundation.
The difference was most evident in the sky.
Unlike the dark, storm-laden firmament of the Dark Blood Realm, the firmament of the Eighth Realm blazed with a radiant, flame-like blue. And this brilliance was not merely visual. Waves of pure soul energy flowed from above like an endless ocean suspended in the air. Anyone who lived beneath it could feel its nourishment—a gentle yet constant reinforcement of spirit, will, and essence.
It was like standing beneath a burning sea of souls.
And beneath that majestic sky, a woman moved in silence.
She was beautiful, with a delicate yet resolute face, short white hair, and intricate markings etched along both sides of her cheeks like ancient runes. Her presence was terrifying. The aura hidden beneath her restraint was powerful enough to make high-level Omega Beasts and even Royal Butlilinie flee in instinctive terror.
Yet she was suppressing it.
Carefully. Completely.
Her figure blurred through the landscape as she approached one of the many fortified strongholds scattered across the Eternal Soul Realm—outposts belonging to the Eternal Soul Kingdom.
When she reached a concealed vantage point, her eyes sharpened.
She inhaled slowly.
The Ancestor Eye embedded in her forehead began to glow.
The world changed.
Trees, roads, walls—even the ground itself—became translucent under her perception. Layers of matter peeled away, revealing structures, formations, hidden chambers, patrol patterns, energy flows. Her vision swept through the entire stronghold with precise, methodical efficiency.
Nothing escaped her inspection.
Several moments later, she exhaled softly and shook her head.
"Another failure."
Just as the words left her lips, her eyes widened.
Someone was behind her.
The presence had appeared without warning—no fluctuation, no disturbance, no trace. Pure instinct screamed danger.
She was about to unleash her full power.
But then she remembered where she was.
If she erupted with her true aura here, her pressence would be exposed instantly.
Clenching her teeth, she restrained herself. A dagger materialized silently in her hand as she prepared to kill the intruder while maintaining concealment.
Before she could turn—
A hand touched her back.
Right behind her heart.
Her body froze.
"I can’t move!?"
Cold dread flooded her mind.
It felt as if countless invisible threads had wrapped around her from every direction, binding her muscles, her energy, even the flow of her soul. She tried to activate the Ancestor Eye, but it saw nothing.
No restraints.
No energy constructs.
Nothing.
The terror of imminent death rose rapidly, pushing her toward the point where she would abandon stealth and detonate her power regardless of the consequences.
Then someone appeared in front of her.
A young man.
He wore a radiant smile, his expression calm and open. His eyes burned with a deep scarlet light.
"Relax," he said gently. "I just want to talk."
Under normal circumstances, she would have never believed such words—especially while completely immobilized.
But something about his gaze made her hesitate.
She could also feel it.
He had withdrawn his power.
And he had stepped back, increasing the distance between them.
"There’s no reason to blow your cover and fail your mission," he continued. "Let’s just talk."
Those words tipped the balance.
The woman forced herself to calm down.
For now.
The young man’s smile widened slightly as he sensed her restraint. His scarlet eyes flickered with quiet satisfaction as he observed the countless purple threads wrapped around her body, each of them faintly infused with scarlet light.
They were not strong enough to permanently restrain a Late Alpha-Omega Overgod if she truly chose to break free.
But for the moment, they were doing their job perfectly.
And thanks to the Power of Karma, he had been able to approach her without being perceived until the final instant.
Not allowing himself to become distracted by his own techniques, the Scarlet King spoke.
"I arrived here recently," Cain said. "I was planning to capture one of the Eternal Soul Realm’s warriors to gather information. Then I noticed you."
His gaze sharpened slightly.
"You were moving far too carefully. And more importantly, I know you don’t belong to the Eternal Soul Kingdom."
The woman’s eyes narrowed.
It was unsettling that he had followed her without her noticing. But his words also implied something important.
He wasn’t from the Eternal Soul Kingdom either.
Her guard lowered slightly.
After a brief pause to choose her words carefully, she spoke.
"I am Jasmir," she said. "A Knight of the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom."
Interest flashed through Cain’s eyes, and his smile grew.
"So the forces of the Seventh Realm of Paradise are operating in the Eighth Realm," he said thoughtfully. "Interesting. Very interesting."
His mind began moving rapidly, calculating possibilities, connections, opportunities.
He only stopped when he noticed the wary look still lingering on Jasmir’s face.
"My apologies for my rudeness," he added politely. "I am the Scarlet King. I come from the Ninth Realm."
"The Ninth Realm?"
Surprise flickered across Jasmir’s expression. She concealed it quickly, but Cain still detected a trace of something else.
Disdain.
It was understandable.
The higher the Realm of Paradise, the greater its power and refinement. Compared to the Eighth Realm, the Ninth was considered inferior. And if that was the perspective here, then the higher Realms likely viewed the Dark Blood Realm as little more than a primitive wasteland.
Cain didn’t care.
The strength of a realm meant little when individuals could surpass their environment. And the Dark Blood King alone was a terrifying existence capable of wielding power comparable to the Fourth Realm.
Letting the thought pass, Cain continued.
"If the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom is making a move in the Eternal Soul Realm," he said calmly, "then I believe we may be able to help each other."
