The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2412: Crown Prince of the Kalous Kingdom

Chapter 2412: Crown Prince of the Kalous Kingdom

"BOOM!"

A massive building trembled as a Royal Blutlinie with sharp eyes and long white hair slammed his fist into the table before him. Cracks spread across the surface as his overwhelming aura surged outward, pressing down on everyone in the room.

His name was Gargamesh, the Warmaster of the Kalous Kingdom.

He was not the strongest Royal Blutlinie, nor the most talented in cultivation—but he was universally acknowledged as the greatest strategic mind the kingdom had ever produced. That reputation alone had earned him his position.

For decades, his schemes and battlefield strategies had allowed the Kalous Kingdom to survive against the far stronger Aztorus Kingdom. Again and again, he had turned impossible odds into hard-fought victories, preserving their borders through brilliance rather than brute force.

Yet now, every one of his carefully woven plans was unraveling.

Projected in the air before him was a holographic image of a crimson sea—vast, pulsating, and expanding at an alarming rate.

The Ocean of the Blood Sun.

"How is it growing this fast?" Gargamesh growled, his voice heavy with restrained fury. "It has increased by twenty-five percent in size in just two months. At this rate, it will reach the outer defensive border of our capital in less than a year!"

The chamber fell into a heavy silence.

As the grim reality settled over the assembled Royal Blutlinie, Gargamesh’s eyes turned colder. Slowly, deliberately, he shifted his gaze toward a woman standing at the far end of the room.

Airi.

"If you had waited for my signal," he said icily, "if you had verified the intelligence instead of rushing forward, we would not be trapped in this predicament. Now we lack the strength to defend the northern border and launch a proper assault against the Ocean of the Blood Sun."

Airi clenched her fists, rage and frustration burning within her chest.

She had already paid a terrible price for her failure. Reforging her lost arm and leg had cost her nearly her entire fortune, and even now, she was far from her peak condition. The weight of her mistakes pressed heavily on her soul.

In the end, she could only lower her head in silence.

"Hmph."

Gargamesh snorted in disdain and turned away, no longer sparing her another glance. His attention returned to the tactical map hovering before him, his mind racing as he searched desperately for a viable path forward.

Yet no matter how he analyzed the situation, no solution presented itself.

If they redeployed forces from the northern border to attack the Ocean of the Blood Sun, the Aztorus Kingdom would immediately exploit the opening and strike directly at the capital.

But if they allowed the blood ocean to continue expanding unchecked...

Then the Kalous Kingdom would soon be drowned in crimson.

"RUMBLE!"

Without warning, the entire stronghold shook violently.

The sudden tremor caught everyone off guard. Gargamesh’s eyes narrowed as he and the others rushed outside, their expressions hardening the moment they looked up at the sky.

A massive draconic figure loomed overhead.

It was an Omen Beast—and not just any Omen Beast.

Its long neck coiled through the clouds, scales gleaming as though forged from divine metal. Enormous plasma wings spread wide behind it, blazing with radiance that burned like a miniature sun.

"A late Alpha–Omega Overgod Omen Beast!" Gargamesh shouted in shock. "How did something like that cross our borders without being detected?!"

His teeth clenched as he released his aura, power surging violently outward. The other Royal Blutlinie followed suit, preparing for battle.

Even for a Royal Blutlinie—a supreme race—an Omen Beast nearing the peak of the Alpha–Omega Overgod Rank was a catastrophe capable of annihilating entire kingdoms.

But just as the air thickened with killing intent, a cheerful, powerful voice echoed from atop the beast.

"Hahaha! Everyone, relax."

The tension froze.

A second later, a man stepped forward, standing calmly upon the Omen Beast’s head.

He was tall, with a muscular yet lean build, spiked hair, and an air of confidence that radiated effortlessly. Intricate tattoos covered his body—similar to Airi’s, yet far more refined and potent.

"Crown Prince!" Gargamesh exclaimed, disbelief and joy flooding his voice. "You’ve returned!"

"Of course," the man replied with a grin. "When I heard about the state of the kingdom, how could I stay away? And I didn’t come alone."

As he spoke, two more Royal Blutlinie appeared beside him.

One was a massive man whose body seemed carved entirely from muscle upon muscle. His frame was covered in countless scars—yet these were not the marks of battle, but the precise, deliberate lines left by surgical modifications.

The other was a woman with cold, arrogant eyes. A bone spear extended from the end of her tail, her presence sharp and predatory.

Gargamesh’s eyes widened as he sensed their strength. Excitement surged through his heart.

"These are friends from the Dark Blood Kingdom," the Crown Prince said calmly. "They have come to aid us in this crisis."

When Airi heard those words, a storm of emotion surged within her.

The Dark Blood Kingdom.

The strongest and largest kingdom in the entire realm. A power more than five times greater than the Kalous Kingdom itself.

For any Royal Blutlinie, training within the Dark Blood Kingdom was a dream beyond reach. Their resources were infused with the very essence of the realm, and legends claimed they possessed techniques capable of surpassing the boundaries of the Third Realm itself.

Even Airi—despite having reached the Middle Alpha–Omega Overgod Rank—had never possessed the talent required to receive an invitation.

The only reason the Crown Prince had been accepted was due to the might of his Ancestor Power.

Envy flared briefly in Airi’s heart—but she crushed it instantly.

Stepping forward, she bowed deeply.

"Elder Brother," she said respectfully. "I am delighted to see you return. With your help, I am certain we can turn the tide and finally drive back the Aztorus Kingdom."

The Crown Prince turned toward her, a deep sense of satisfaction filling his heart as he watched her kneel.

"Of course," he said calmly. "From this moment on—everything will change."
