The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2410: Alpha-Omega Overgod soul technique

Chapter 2410: Alpha-Omega Overgod soul technique

Airi managed to block the punch with her sword, but the power behind it was so overwhelming that her entire body trembled violently as she was sent plunging downward.

Blood burst from the Royal Blutlinie’s mouth, staining the air crimson. She forced herself not to focus on the pain or the damage to her body, because she was diving straight toward the Ocean of the Blood Sun—and she had already witnessed ArchDeities being swallowed by it in less than a second.

Even if she was far stronger than them, she did not dare test her chances.

Gathering every ounce of strength in her body and soul, Airi forcibly stabilized herself just before reaching the surface of the Ocean of the Blood Sun. The danger, however, was far from over.

Mirena appeared before her in an instant.

Without hesitation, Mirena unleashed a relentless barrage of punches, each one carrying lethal power. Airi relied on pure martial skill, blocking and redirecting each strike in such a way that the force behind them propelled her toward the shoreline instead of deeper into the ocean.

Blood continued to pour from Airi’s mouth as the seemingly endless power behind Mirena’s fists battered her defenses. Her arms felt numb, her vision blurred, and her internal organs screamed in protest.

Then Mirena found an opening.

She broke through Airi’s defenses and landed a point-blank punch directly into her shoulder.

"BOOOOM!"

Mirena’s Ancestor Power not only purified corruption, but it also erased energy defenses.

The sound of shattering bones and rupturing flesh echoed through the air. Airi’s shoulder exploded into fragments, and her left arm was torn completely from her body, spinning helplessly before falling into the blood ocean below.

Her body followed, plummeting downward.

By sheer luck—and no small amount of skill—Airi crashed into the shoreline instead of the ocean itself. The impact carved a massive crater into the ground, stopping her descent just short of certain death.

Proving that her power was no illusion, Airi twisted her body before the inertia fully dissipated and flashed away into the distance. She was severely injured, her aura unstable and her movements sluggish, which only reinforced one fact:

She had to escape.

Mirena’s eyes burned with killing intent and savage desire as she gave chase without hesitation. Yet the moment she crossed the edge of the Ocean of the Blood Sun, the immense energy flowing into her body abruptly faded.

Mirena frowned.

It seemed that the Blood King’s enhancement only worked while she remained inside or above the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

Even so, she did not stop. If she managed to kill Airi, the rewards she would obtain would be extraordinary—worth any risk.

At that moment, Cain stopped worrying about Mirena.

The instant she left the border of the blood ocean, his focus shifted entirely to Kantun.

The massive Royal Blutlinie had suffered severe wounds, but he was already nearing the shoreline. Once outside the ocean’s influence, escaping would not be difficult.

Of course, Cain had no intention of allowing such precious prey to escape.

Following Cain’s plan, Mirena had brought her forces ahead of time to set the trap, carefully revealing only partial information about the connection between the Aztorus Kingdom and the Blood King. She had also delivered all the sacrifices Cain had demanded, each one held within the depths of the blood ocean.

Cain could have devoured them immediately and greatly increased his power.

Instead, he waited.

He wanted to test something.

And now was the perfect moment.

The Power of Chaos and the Flow surged as Cain connected directly to the souls of thousands of sacrificed Prima Deities and dozens of ArchDeities. At the same time, every single sacrifice awakened—only to be consumed by unimaginable pain as their souls ignited simultaneously.

A powerful technique activated.

Kantun wore a wide smile as he saw the shoreline only seconds away—

Suddenly, a violent burst of soul force erupted beneath him.

In the next instant, his soul and mind were struck by an overwhelming force. His consciousness shattered, the light faded from his eyes, and his gigantic body fell limp, crashing into the blood ocean and sending massive waves in every direction.

Immediately, the currents of the Ocean of the Blood Sun surged around the unconscious Royal Blutlinie, dragging him toward its deeper layers. The blood condensed rapidly, enveloping his body and forming a massive cocoon around him.

As for the Blutlinie used to activate the technique, they all perished.

Cain did not care.

Their energy, life force, and—most importantly—their Ancestor Drops remained intact, ready to be harvested.

Cain’s hunger knew no limits.

Even after capturing such a powerful Royal Blutlinie, he did not stop. His attention shifted toward the remaining forces of the Kalous Kingdom.

One by one, they were defeated and cast into the blood ocean.

By the time the day ended, fewer than ten percent of the Kalous Kingdom’s Blutlinie managed to escape, relying on unique abilities or rare treasures. The rest met their fate within the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

Cain’s heart surged with thrill and excitement as he gazed upon the countless new sources of fuel at his disposal.

He wasted no time.

After channeling part of his power into Satan and Hades—helping the duo recover from their brutal battles—Cain turned his full attention to those he had captured, beginning with the Royal Blutlinie.

First, Cain invaded Kantun’s mind.

He obtained useful knowledge regarding cultivation techniques and Omens, but when it came to deeper information about the Kalous Kingdom, Kantun knew little more than Kameron had.

Next, Cain extracted the Royal Blutlinie’s soul force, forging it into a condensed orb. He then refined Kantun’s life force and energy, using them to nourish the cocoon from his last Royal Guard.

Finally, it was time to purify the Ancestor Drop.

The process repeated itself with the rest of the Blutlinie—both the sacrificed and the warriors of the Kalous Kingdom. The latter had their souls extracted and gathered into a radiant golden orb, just like Kantun.

Cain had become surprisingly proficient at this process.

He managed to finish just as Mirena returned.
