ANASTASIA NECRON WINS!!!!"

"Well, that was a rather pretty good match." Damon mused from his seat. Though he had already known Anastasia would win, the actual winning cemented that.

Not only that, Damon had also confirmed something. "I see now, Anastasia Necron, you can see the future at least to a certain extent." He muttered.

And he wasn’t the only one who figured that out. Every youth worth their salt like Kaal, Namor, Mayura, and a few smart individuals realized the same.

"It seemed this match will be a lot more exciting than our match during the midterms." Damon muttered, looking forward to it, after all, he had to repay the favor.

Time quietly passed and the round of thirty two silently came to an end. The round of sixteen was to be held the next day, so the participating youths were transported back to the large hall.

Damon immediately slipped into the mirror dimension and at that same moment a couple of gazes landed on him.

"Why all the looks?" Damon asked with a smile. "I know I am handsome but that shouldn’t warrant all these gazes now should it?"

Amongst the people gazing at him, Anastasia walked forward. "I’m simply curious where you stay." the redhead replied with a disarming smile. "Yesterday, I figured you were absent the moment we were transported back here, and were absent at your designated residence."

"Why, so you could kill me in my sleep?" Damon tilted his head.

"Oh why would you think so?" The redhead asked with mock hurt.

"Out of everyone present, you’re probably the one who wants to kill me the most, barring that elven prince whose face I wiped with my boots." Damon said in a matter of fact tone.

"Then perhaps you shouldn’t be touching others without their permission." Rose’s eyes grew cold.

"By the gods, don’t tell me you’ve been spreading false rumours about me." Damon turned back to Anastasia with a gasp.

"It’s not false rumours when it’s true." Delilah retorted.

"Okay first, I never really did touch you, did I?" Damon asked. "On what basis would you be telling others that?"

"You tried to, and would have succeeded if I hadn’t stopped you!" Anastasia’s eyes began glowing with a furious light.

"I digress, but pray tell how you figured out I was going to touch you, because I’m a hundred percent sure you do not have eyes behind your back."

"You know what," the furious gleam in Anastasia’s eyes vanished. "I actually do hope you would defeat Alistair the day after tomorrow." She said with a smile, before turning away. And she wasn’t joking, she really hoped he would defeat Alistair, because that way, he would have the chance of encountering her in battle.

Damon watched the three turn away and head for the exit of the hall. By this time, every youth had already left, leaving only Damon.

"It’s always fun interacting with them." Shook his head with a smile, then in a blip, his figure disappeared from the hall.

Mayura walked into a room that looked more like a luxury hotel suit rather than an infirmary.

"What are you doing here?" A dry voice echoed through the room. But Mayura didn’t answer, instead, she walked towards the large bed in the room and sat beside it.

"How are you feeling?" She asked her twin.

"I’d be feeling better if I didn’t have my face dragged through the ground in front the entire world." Ivis replied sullenly, his earlier confidence all gone.

"Do not worry, everyone would forget it soon enough." Mayura consoled. "Especially since it was a filthy human who did it."

"Tell me something, could you beat him if you met him?" Ivis asked dryly, his earlier confidence entirely gone. He had come to this convergence believing he was number one, that he could effortlessly clear everyone in his path, but reality had a good way of disappointing people.

"Yes, I would do him the same thing he did you. He might look untouchable, but so am I." Mayura replied after a moment of contemplation, but even her own voice sounded hollow to herself. That demon face her the chills, only he could get to her due to his control of blood.

"I suppose you’re right." Ivis muttered. "But you would still have to reach the finals to be able to fight him."

"That I will reach." She said with conviction. But it depends on whether conviction alone could take her there.

At another such room, Namor, Nymeria, and Vael stood beside Nyssa’s bed.

"Damn, Nyssa, Sia really did you in." Vael muttered, already long healed from the injuries sustained during his match with Rose.

"At least I didn’t get melted." Nyssa shot back in a slightly timid tone.

"Do not worry, Namor will defeat her after he defeats that blood demon." Nymeria assured.

"Sure, I can’t wait to battle Sia, I only have to defeat three more people to do that." Namor said with a battle thirsty grin.

"Just make sure you don’t get your ass beat then, because if you do, I’ll never let you hear the end of it, hehehehe." Vael chuckled.

"If I do lose, it would only show that I am not strong enough." Namor shrugged. "I’ll then simply have to get stronger."

----------

Meanwhile, Instructor Black called for a meeting amongst all the human participants that had come to the demon Empire for the convergence, including those still in the tournament namely; Alistair, Anastasia, Rose, Delilah, Aric, Calum, Sasha, and last but not least... The imposter.

However, the imposter did not attend, and coincidentally, the meeting called was because of the imposter.

"Who amongst you know who the idiot calling himself the imposter is?" Edmond asked in a grave tone.

The cadets all turned, looking around, trying to see who would say they knew the imposter. Ever since they were eliminated in the Sphere catching phase, they had also been curious about who the imposter was.

"We need more information on whoever the imposter is, so please, if anyone of you knows who he is, could you please tell us who he is and where he’s from?" Instructor summers asked with a pleading smile.

Her stepping in seemed to do more than Instructor Black’s grave tone.

A youth hesitantly raised his hand after a few moments of contemplation. "I...I think I know who he is."

Every head in the room turned to the youth making him shrink back.

"Who is he?!" Instructor Black asked.

"He... is from the same institute as I am, we both arrived and took the tournament to qualify for the last fifty spots." The youth explained.

The youth suddenly ceased to exist from his spot and appeared in front of the entire crowd, with Instructor Black’s hand holding the scruff of his collar.

"Tell me everything you know about him!" Edmond said, but Instructor Summers swiftly intervened. "You’re scaring him, Edmond, let me take a shot at it."

After that, the instructors and the key figures dispersed the meeting, allowing the youths to leave.

"Okay, so now we know his name is Arin Balemont, he’s from the Remea continent, and attended the White Dome Institute, what else?" Edmond asked.

"That’s pretty much all we know." One of the figures there spoke.

"And as you can see, the imposter, or Arin as we know now, didn’t attend the meeting." Someone added.

"I can’t believe someone this young was able to evade everyone’s eyes for so long." Someone said.

"I guess you don’t use your brains much, but do you recall that kid saying Arin or whatever his name is, was never this strong, and that the fact he even qualified for the convergence was luck?"

"What if he was simply hiding his strength?" Someone proposed.

"I beg to differ, the body said the imposter boy only had an ability that enhanced his physical strength, and he clearly stated that the body wasn’t even at the Zeta- rank." Instructor Summers said. "But the imposter boy is here showing different abilities like teleportation and intangibility. So what if the imposter really is an imposter?" she asked a question that silenced the others.

-------

Meanwhile, as the figures of authority were bickering, the young man who had given testimony on the imposter went back to his residence.

The moment he reached his room, he went straight towards the bed, but seemed to stop ever so slightly before the mirror, before walking to he mirror.

The youth then extended his hand to the mirror with practiced ease. With no resistance whatsoever, his hand sunk through the mirror.

Drawing his hand back, he drew out an exact replica of himself.

The replica looked at him with eyes widened in terror.

"Tell me.." the youth smiled." ...how was the mirror dimension?"
